Eventually Runihura left my office when there was a knock on my door. He had been badgering me with coming over to his apartment for half an hour now and I felt if it was an option, death would have been greater. Yet he was not worth killing myself for.
His persistence was unlike anything I had ever seen before. The man could not be deterred. He was an unmovable train and constantly I almost gave into his ridiculous demands. If the knock at the door had never happened I would have probably just asked him for his address so we could end the madness.
Once he had disappeared past the door to his office I let whoever was on the other side in. I was glad to see it was Lobdell who already had a happy smile on his face, "I came to check if you were alright."
"Dandy," I smiled, "the meeting went well."
