Regulus already forwarded my acceptance of becoming a teacher there, so they should not worry for me from backing out.
Furthermore, I already sent the message to Arcanemage Dean Alaric, stating I would be late due to the unforeseen circumstances.
'They should have given me some face, didn't they?
After all, I'm the esteemed inheritor of the Arcanemage, and even perhaps, becoming a dean of the Royal Academy.'
I joked inwardly.
Of course, I knew it was such a pipe dream.
Every mage already had an idea of me not staying alive.
I would face a lot of death threats, assassination, if I were ever more ambitious.
Becoming a teacher there should already give them some face.
