Consequences

After the Weltkreig, Europe was a quite continent, though the Russian Civil War raged with full force in the east, in the west it looked like after 4 years of bloody war peace had finally arrived. Though there was no war, relations between countries were still rough. The German plans for Europe was now coming in effect, it started with Mitteleuropa. Mitteleuropa was an economic block between all european countries except Britain and France who chose not to join it, instead increased their trade with the US. In the balkans, Serbia was punished severely by Austria- Hungary; southern Serbia was given to Bulgaria and Serbia was restricted to 1,00,000 men in the army, 100 planes in the air force and no navy. Her economy was completely destroyed and the loss in the war became a national tragedy. The biggest power in the balkans was Bulgaria, with the largest army and air force. Post-war Bulgaria was like a mix between Germany and Imperial Japan; Bulgarian education system resembled that of Germany's and ultra nationalism that of Japan's.

After losing the war, French and British morale became so low that there was no coverage about international news for about 3 weeks. With India declaring independence from Britain and the British governmental failure to prevent it; it looked like as if the sun was finally setting upon the British Empire.
