Once everyone had woken up they briefly deliberated on the next step to take. Since they had no food left other than some apples from the garden, the decision they had until then to continue walking along the path that had led them there was unrealistic and needed to be changed.
“We must get out of this tunnel to the surface as soon as possible and try to return to Tehran by whatever means we find.” Suzuki said. “We have no food and insisting on exploring this underground labyrinth only exposes us to new encounters with Fedayeen.”
