Richardson looked with pleasure at his old friend Gherardi. He was glad he had asked for his presence because of the light he was shedding on what seemed at first glance to be a series of random, senseless murders.
“Corrado. What conclusion do you draw from all this?”
“On the one hand, on the Iranian side, it seems that the government of that country is entrusting the sect of the assassins- which had and still has, as we already explained with Tarek, remote Persian and Ismaili roots, that is, Shiites- to carry out attacks against important personalities of its archrival in that geographic area, Saudi Arabia.”
“It is strange that the Iranians do not commit these murders with their own agents, who have acted around the world, as was the case with the blowing up of the headquarters of AMIA, the mutual of the Jewish community in Buenos Aires.” Added Watkins.
