"Elijah! Come play with us," Lily said with great excitement. She pulled on Elijah's hand along with Penelope to make him get up from sitting down with their parents. It was boring to sit down when they could be running around. They had not played with him all day.
"It is no fun to sit around and do nothing. Come play with us by the water. Mother," Penelope whined, turning to Alessandra for help. "Eli doesn't want to play with us."
"You were born with a sibling so you would never get bored. Play with each other," Elijah answered, refusing to get up. Their idea of fun was not the same for him. He would rather go to the palace to play with the princes or stay here with his mother and father.
Elijah could not spend time with Alessandra since she was entertaining her friends and he did not want to hear the same comments about him getting bigger. Then his father was out of the house right after breakfast to see Alfred.
