As soon as the three finished talking, Countess and Count of Baignard immediately decided to go to Hugh's office.
More precisely, Countess Lauren was walking in such a hurry while her husband, Count Remor was following behind her with such a worried look on his face.
"Honey! Why are you going to the Duke's office?" Remor was asking with a crumpled expression on his face.
Lauren looked back at him.
"Are you saying that I should just let this slide?! He knew that Leticia was going to do something dangerous but he was going to let it be?!"
Count Remor was somehow still confused on how his wife could be this angry on behalf of their adopted daughter when they only just met recently.
Also, maybe, because it was the first time that they met, his adopted daughter seems to be hiding a lot of things.
