"I worry about his fiance. What if she was just being pushed into this marriage? Her family belongs to the Baignard, right?"
Carl had a look that he was in deep thought.
"That's right. The Baignard family had been the loyal vassals of the Duke. There's a possibility that she was pushed to this engagement to have a stronger bond between families. I also heard that she's been so sick that she needed to get out of the North and live in a warm place. I wonder if she will be alright here?"
Cora replied to what Carl said. "What would happen if she said she wanted to go back to her family?"
They knew that Duke Hugh had an indifferent personality and even though they heard that the Duke was nice to her because he was so deeply in love, it was still hard to think that he was capable of that.
