THE BLESSING (2)

"She already has a blessing."

Somehow the reply that came to Hugh was not the answer he expected but somehow he kind of wished it would be.

That alone made Hugh confused but also felt relief. It means that Leticia wouldn't be subjected as a witch which this Kingdom has prejudice for.

"Is that so…? That's great then."

Hugh could only give such a reply.

He didn't bother to think too much about it. The reason why Leticia said she needed a blessing or that she didn't have it.

Hugh forgot about it and just sat beside her and looked at her as he felt relief.

However, William still had a baffled expression on his face as he stared in the direction of the sleeping Leticia.

And he said, "Your Grace, didn't you say that the Lady didn't have a blessing?"

"What's the use of answering that when you yourself already confirmed it? Maybe, she just forgot about it or no one told her since she must have been too young to remember."
