My Parents Are Dead

"Gal Maxwell, wait!" Michaela exclaimed.

Gal stopped, her hand hung in the air, and a smile broke on her face.

Michaela approached and turned Gal around, she asked surprised, "did you just say you love me?"

"What?" Gal asked, her voice chipping.

Michaela chuckled and took her hands, and walked with her to the bed. She sat while staring at Gal with a grin on her face. "Sit, Gal, sit, my friend."

Gal raised her eyebrows at her and asked, "are you okay?"

Michael rose from the bed and brought the food. She opened it and breathed in the aroma. She murmured with a happy tone, "I just love this."

"Mmmh."

"Gal, come on it smells good," Michaela uttered.

Gal nodded, looking at Michaela worriedly and confused at the same thing. She was surprised that Michaela was smiling at her like that when hours ago she was angry. Just a few minutes ago, she referred to her as a stranger.
