Cayden expressionlessly stared at the Alpha Snake Beast, not uttering another word. The Alpha Snake Beast sighed in his heart, shaking his head as if he is contemplating how stupid can a human be? How could he shy away from a pie falling from the sky like this?

"These three items are the rewards of this monopoly game." The Alpha Beast Snake explained. "From the previous game rules, once we only have one challenger that miraculously survived until the end, we will give the rewards beforehand. Whether he could survive the last challenge or not, its up to his skills."

"If I survive only these three are my rewards?" Cayden's voice were full of bitterness and poison. His tone irritate the Alpha Snake Beast.

"Aren't you being an ungrateful brat? What? You want more?"

Cayden pointed to Pete. "I want to take my bestfriend with me."

The Alpha Snake Beast's face was suddenly transformed into a facial expression full of ridicule. "Are you serious -"

He stopped midway. Or more like somebody ask him to stop talking. Cayden vigilantly took a step back as he observe his surroundings. Other than him, the slaved challengers and the Alpha Beast Snake, there was no one.

But he can sense somebody's pair of scrutinizing gaze observing him.

A few seconds later, the Alpha Snake Beast suddenly said, "You, step forward."

From the crowd of slave challengers, Peter came out and step forward. He was only a few steps away from Cayden when he stopped.

Pete's eyes no longer contain his cheerful clear eyes. It's now replaced with deep purple slits that belong to the snakes. His veins are also protruding and bulging abnormally. With one glance, Cayden knew the blood flowing in his veins are no longer human blood.

Cayden wracked his brain, digging deeper into his memory. Is there a potion or a reward given in the upper floors that could cure beast enslavement?

Perhaps that man will know. Cayden needs to reach the tenth floor of the Dark Tower to meet him.

On Pete's feet, thin strips of white cloth suddenly appeared on the ground and bind his limbs. Since Pete did not receive an order to fight back, Pete did not resist. He just let himself be bound.

The Alpha Snake Beast then said. "That white cloth is a weapon called [Rind]. It can completely suppress your friend. Don't worry, you can keep him to yourself. Pick up the [Dimension] bracelet."

Cayden did not move.

"Hurry up, don't waste our time. The final mode has not yet started because of your stupidity."

Cayden: "..."

Cayden wordlessly picked up the bracelet, the dagger and the healing potion bottle.

"Press the white button on the bracelet." When Cayden did, Pete immediately disappeared in front of him.

"He's inside. Press the black button if you want to see him."

Cayden's breath hitched when he saw Pete inside a cage. This cage is placed at the center of a small hut. Outside, there is a clear sky and a sun shining down from above. The hut is located at the center of a farm field.

There's a clear lake on the other side of the farm field and tall trees on the outskirts of the farm field.

Cayden knew what this is. This is a reward prop given to challengers when they reach the fifteenth floor. A limited prop if you were able to get the S grade perfect clearance in an instance.

A storage space.

This storage space can store a lot of things. There are two types of storage space. The A class and the S class. The A grade are for those storage space that can't sustain life. It's literally like a warehouse where you just dump your food supplies, clothes and other things to save you some space.

The S class are like the storage space he have now. There are ideal elements that can sustain life. Cayden can plant trees and farm if he wants to.

In other words, having this storage space is perfect if he wanted to carry Pete with him to the Dark Tower as he searched for an antidote.

Cayden reluctantly placed the [Dimension Bracelet] to his left wrist. The right wrist contain his shield bracelet.

The weapon, [Endless] has a curve blade, almost like a C - shape or the crescent moon shape. Not to mention he can sense this blade contain abnormally high concentrated energy.

As he was looking at it curiously, another text was displayed in front of him.

[Endless is one of the rare weapons in the Dark Tower. It's blade can tear through any surface. Whether the hard skin of a beast or the hard surface of an armor, it can penetrate anything.]

[It's latent abilities can still be upgraded. If you invest points in it, the skill level will increase, thus unlocking another set of abilities of this weapon.]

[Challenger Cayden Campbell, would you like to invest points in order to upgrade its skill?]

[You can earn points by killing all remaining slave challengers. Once you kill them, their souls will be released from this game and will enter the world of afterlife. You will also receive pints for every soul you released.]

"Why?"

[It's called Karma points. An enslaved human soul released from its slavery will cost you karma points. These points is no different from killing monsters points.]

Cayden's eyes glanced down. He did not say a word and just stood there, staring at his dagger. The Alpha Snake Beast was about to tell the stupid human off when he was stopped.

"Let the human think." His boss's voice echoed in his ears.

"This human has a high level of vigilance. When others are desperate to receive a reward, he's the only one who will stare at you as if you're acting suspicious if you give him one."
