Twenty One

The trio trudged back to the campsite in silence, mainly because Ace was downright fuming in confusion and the other two felt the need to abide by the tense silence. What he had seen, he did not report back to either one, for his thoughts were still lingering in the past, muddling up over and over.

Kaden shuffled his feet as they reached the base of the site. "So..." he let out a low whistle. “What would you like us to—”

“Put your findings about danger zones on a report using the digital canvas. I’m sure you’ve seen some places that are swarming with creatures, or you're simply just too weak with a 8.4hp,” Ace barked, practically shoving him the pad he was clenching with his knuckles. He flashed a look at Hibis, who returned a confused gaze at his emotions. “You can rest, then continue patrolling the grounds along with Kaden. Leave me alone…please.”
