Heading Our Own Ways

She finally got back to the room and gave him back his stuff. She even put the ID and the picture in the back pocket's of his pants so he wouldn't notice. He thanked her first and quickly looked into the pockets of his clothes as if he was looking for him. Xian realized he must've been looking for the picture and jokingly said, "what I didn't rob anything." Then he replied with "I don't believe you where is my phone?"

Xian expression quickly changed and said, "your phone? They didn't give me a phone." As she was about to head out and ask the nurse Lu stopped her and started laughing and said," I don't one have." She was stunned it was the first time she saw him laugh and thought, I was clearly nieve to think that someone that good looking couldn't look even better. I'm gonna get a heart attack seeing him when his face is fully healed. After she thought it she realized that wasn't going to happen. After Lu stopped laughing she noticed Xian staring at him and felt a little awkward since he was the only one laughing and said," I'm going to quickly change so that we can leave."

Xian agreed and Lu went to change. Xian noticed that some moments ago the first thing he did was look for the picture of the girl and started thinking again. I'm curious to know who she is and then quickly changed her thoughts. What's the point of me knowing anyway? Man, I really am nosy. Lu got changed so they headed outside the first think Lu said was, "didn't we need an adult? I'm seventeen, I don't know your age but you don't look any older than me. I had severe injuries, about to bleed out, weirdly healed quickly and according to them I was suicidal and let me go the next day? I know they took some tests and I was quickly healed beside the bruises on my body and injuries in my face but weren't they at least supposed to give me recommendations of places that can give me help?"

Xian looked at Lu funny and almost laughed at his questions and jokingly said, "huh? Did you want to stay in there longer? You want me to go back there and tell them that you really are and need help, I'll go back and ill do it all for you ", then continued with " I agree you healed really quickly she squinted her at Lu and kept going. What are you? Where did you come from? Do you have some type of power that allows you to heal quickly? Your body sure can handle a lot. I mean it has to deal with you every day. She was clearly teasing him and started laughing when she was done. After she was done laughing she went serious and said, they were just really nice. They probably noticed that I told that story because I was covering for something. They must've had one look at your face and thought this kid looks stupid enough to be the type to think, hey let's try to fall off this building to see what happens.

After what she said I thought maybe she's right. What am I thinking anyway I'm not suicidal so why should it matter. This time we just got lucky. Xian looked at Lu and said, "I'll walk you home where do you live? It's okay you don't have to I live thirty minutes away. He was really hoping she would leave it at that because walking it would be almost an hour long and plus she was a girl, a really pretty one so her walking back home would be dangerous. Xian noticed that it seemed as if Lu didn't want her to go with him so she didn't keep insisting. "Alright then I'm gonna head home" she looked at Lu for the last time and waved goodbye and left.
