Alpha finally returned a week before the meeting was supposed to start. And he had a guest.

This guest was also an alpha and a father. No one has seen him yet, but Alpha says he’s in one of the guesthouses, looking after his daughter.

I don’t know why, but the idea of this man…..it scares me. His daughter, also, but her father more.

Laurent has picked up on this, and is becoming more active in the back of my mind. Just in case I need help at the last second. I’m grateful for the offer of course, but I can’t rely on them forever. Our deal is that they help me control my magic, in exchange for me using it responsibly. There were more than a few reckless witches in the first age, according to Laurent. They’re trying to make sure the things that happened then, don’t happen again.
