Ch. 61 Two Heirs

By the time the sixth whip attacked, no one had screamed anymore. It wasn't that the youngsters' bodies were immune but that they didn't have the strength even to cry. The five poor youngsters couldn't move from their lying position and just mustered all the power they had to survive.

Can't fall! I can't pass out! That was the murmur they say in their hearts like a mantra.

Arine, whose face was filled with tears, curled into a ball with her clothes torn and some blood flowing from her torn skin. Others' appearances were no better than Arine's, but because she was the youngest and was always protected by her friends so that she rarely got injured, Arine suffered the most.
