As the small craft more or less landed Keyton Xylaire was heading towards it uncertain of what was waiting for him once he got there. His mind was racing, what was he going to find. Keyton then realized that since he was probably going to be the first person on the scene he was going to have to give some kind of statement to the relevant authorities, however not knowing what the future held for him he was just going to have to see when he got there.

As the Sub-Commander woke up from having semi-successfully landed the small craft in a clearing surounded by a bunch of trees she looked around and saw that the medical team was already enacting the proper protocol for this kind of situation, which was strip everything from the vessel and leave only the hull, something that was drilled into them early in universal Dracagonian space training. She got up and began helping them by putting all the parts in the bags that were provided for this type of scenario, fortunately after all the damage that they had taken meant that some parts were inoperable and protocol only dictated to take the parts that were still functional, which saved them some time but on an unknown planet with who knows what dangers await them they could only hope it was enough.

As Keyton arrived at the crash site, he noticed that the small craft looked to him like a cross between a rocket and a plane streamlined into the form of a spaceship. When he got closer he saw that there were unfamiliar markings on the hull of the small craft, one of the things he would do was to ask any and all survivors lots of questions. Just then what appeared to be a hatch opened up and five reptile-like humanoids walked out each of them carrying lots of bags and what appeared to be some sort of equipment, just looking at the bags he could tell that they were heavy. Realizing that he was out in the open he immediately ducked behind a nearby tree in case whatever was coming out was a threat.

The Sub-Commander looked around and didn't see anything else that they could really take from the small craft.

"Everyone got all the parts?"

"Yes." an average looking reptilian man replied.

"Good, what about the medical equipment?"

"All here" replied a curvy reptilian woman.

"And Xiragon."

"Over here." two reptilian men that almost looked like they were twins replied simultaneously.

Seeing that everyone else already had their hands full the Sub-Commander walked over reached down and grabbed the handle of the metallic cylindrical container that currently housed Xiragon but they knew that they needed to find a proper host and soon otherwise everything that was sacrificed for them would disappear. They all looked at each other before opening the hatch and walking outside.

As soon as Keyton felt that he was safe behind the tree he looked back over to where the group of five was standing they appeared to be discussing what to do next, as they were doing this Keyton was thinking about what he should do next, should he stay where he was or approach the group, he had a hard time deciding but also knew that he had to get over his indecisiveness quickly because he knew that having the decision made for him might end up causing him to regret not choosing for himself sooner. All of a sudden he could hear a siren blaring in the distance and instinctively turned his head towards the direction of the sound, then he immediately turned his head back to observe the reactions of the mysterious group, only to see that they had decided to run up a nearby tree and hide in its thick branches and leaves but not before one of them had dropped a metallic cylindrical container.

The Sub-Commander was startled at the sound of a blaring noise and noticed that everyone else was looking for a place to hide until someone pointed out a high up spot on what appeared to be a tall and sturdy giant plant. Not seeing any other options the group ran over to and climbed up the tall plant, now they just had to make sure they had everything and then they could hopefully wait out whatever happened next.

"Do we still have all the parts?" the Sub-Commander asked the rest of the group.

"All here." the average looking reptilian man replied.

"What about all of the equipment?"

"Also all here" the curvy reptilian woman replied.

"And Xiragon"

No one replied this time and they all looked at each other with worried looks on their faces, If they lost Xiragon then they might as well be dead since Xiragon was the key to their survival and the survival of everyone else in their faction since once a faction lost all of its power it would be either disbanded or absorbed into another faction. If they were disbanded then everyone in that faction would be either faction-less which some considered worse than death since you would be at the bottom of the ladder in the Dracagonian Empire and subject to the whims of anyone to do anything they asked. If they were absorbed into another faction then at least their standing would be secure but their lives could be changed drastically. If they valued what they did they had to find Xiragon and quickly or else, as the Sub-Commander was searching for Xiragon she noticed a figure standing close to the small craft but was unsure about what it was doing.

As Keyton got closer to the small craft he knew that he had just stumbled upon something big and then he stopped, reached down and picked up a metallic cylindrical container and right then and there he realized that what he did next would end up shaping his future. As the sirens got louder he realized that if he didn't decide now that he would regret his inaction for probably the rest of his life.
