Chapter 3: Overpowered skills
"What do you think? My younger sister is pretty awesome right, I guess dying wasn't too bad hahaha!" the goddess excitedly praises her little sister
"I don't know if dying was good, but she's pretty amazing cause she's responsible, generous, and doesn't fool around which leads to someone losing their life like someone I know!" I answered her with a tone filled with sarcasm and a mischievous grin on my face
"Cough… Since I'm the reason you died, I'll grant you two powerful skills no matter what it is as long its within my power."
What? I can even choose a unique skill. awesome! what a generous god, well since it's a once in a lifetime then I won't hold back.
"Okay… I want my left hand to have the power to instantly create everything I want without the ingredients, while my right hand can destroy everything I touch within my command!"
"Not allowed! I said everything, but the second skill for your right hand will just break the balance between gods and mortals this will cause you to be hunted down by the other gods before your strong enough to defend yourself."
"What do you mean hunted down and what other gods?" I feel my back turn cold. I'm not liking how this sounds
"We don't have much time left so choose your skill before I change my mind and give you nothing!"
"Fine then I decided! I want the Twin Star inherent skill from the light novel I read long ago."
Goddess looked at me and suddenly put her hand on her chin as though she was thinking
"alright, I will make an exception and grant you those skills, but you will have to figure it out how to master it on your own." She extended her finger while a white light surrounds me then it slowly starts to seep into my body
When I was checking my body to see if there was anything different. I suddenly feel someone grab my clothes. It was the younger goddess.
"just like my sister I will grant you a unique skill with the same rule." she looks at me with blinking eyes.
For some reason I felt really attracted to this goddess could it be love at first, well who knows, but I got to at least tell her I like her.
"Goddess, has someone ever told you that you are extremely beautiful! If you can't find a husband in the near future just come and look for me, I will take full responsibility and make you the happiest girl in the world." I grab her hand and shamelessly said while looking at her
The goddesses face turns red with steam coming of her head. Her sister face turned red as well and said.
"Let go of her hand pervert! Hurry up and choose your skill then get lost already!" the goddess big sister shouted with a tone of voice filled with jealousy
"Tchh! so even gods get jealous of others." I said with a low voice
"why will I get jealous for someone like you, so hurry up and pick your skill!"
"Okay, okay give me a minute so I can think."
What should I choose, x20 exp gain? Nah it won't be fun anymore if I choose that, invisibility? I pretty sure I can get that later so denied, hmm… since I'm a high human I have to make sure I don't die quickly before I have a chance to enjoy my new life? But I can only pick one skill. Ahhh! There is that one!
"I have decided! I want the skill nirvana's flame, but this skill has to merge with my body and soul as well."
The goddess looks at me for a bit before finally closing her eyes, after a long time she re-open her eyes and looks at me with a complicated look.
The goddess stretched out her hand and placed it over my heart before saying "alright, this isn't something too hard for me to accomplish, well for my part that is. Now for the part you take part in is a bit troublesome. If you can endure the excruciating pain for only one minute the skill will successfully merge with you. But don't get me wrong it's still long enough to make you beg for someone to rip out your heart and end your misery. If you can't handle the pain I will immediately end the process and let you choose a different skill. okay then, let's begin."
I look at her hand and notice a black flame appear out of nowhere and rapidly started to spread around my body before finally entering. I looked at my body, but nothing seems to be happening. I look up after a while to ask if something went wrong, but she was crouched down with her eyes closed and her hand covering her ears. I was about to reach out to her I feel my body stiffing up, I lose my balance and fall on my back. As I lied on my back with my limbs spread out my face starts to turn black, my eyes turn dark red with blood pouring out. My ears start to painfully ring before finally bleeding, I start to heavily pant with my body painfully twitch every now and then.
when the pain slowly disappears another round of pain more excruciating then the last appears. I feel like I'm being skinned alive then put back together before being ripped apart again slowly. My mind slowly starts to break down as I start to see black figures with burning dagger they slowly start to stab, slice and cut me in way no human can comprehend after I'm put back together they start all over again. Finally, they start to laugh as they force me to cook my hand and start eating it in front of me.
After a while the pain slowly disappears, and I open my eyes to see the pair of sister crying. They have their hands on my head and my chest. I looked at their hand and notice a blueish-white light spreading around me. I close my eyes and feel the light slowly healing my body, mind and soul and I feel like I'm in peace.
