Take Over

When Maulketh opened the gateway into his Dimension, the many magicians of the Justice League felt it. Doctor Fate and Zatana were just two of them.

Doctor Fate instantly felt the fate of the entire world changing. Maulketh was a calamity to fight as while he was a a physical powerhouse, he was a nightmare in magic.

He had no need to chant, no need for magic circles, or rituals. His magic was forced onto the world by his will alone.

And his Concept and Domain both were threats that made sure of his victory.

"This is a nightmare. Fate is breaking apart, and I can't tell what will happen anymore. I could read the Fates of the people to get glimpses, but that is murky now.

That Dragon God is a threat."

Doctor Fate spoke to the gathered League. The Watch Tower was now locked on Yellow Stone where Maulketh had built his lair. Batman had returned here, but next to him was Typhon his magic instructor.

The Red wolf sat down as the League members turned to him. Wonder Woman asked him directly.

"What is he doing? He placed down a magical barrier and it seems that he is bringing an army of monsters. From where? For what purpose?"

Typhon answered as he had permission.

"My lord has claimed that area as his lair. Every dragon has one and he has choose the Super Volcano as his home. As for the army, we are Lord Maulketh's subordinates given life through his power. Serving him is our honor. As for me, I am a mere Hell Fire Wolf Cub."

Hearing that Maulketh had claimed a extinction level volcano as his home was not a good thing to hear. And how the hell was Typhon a cub.

Shazam looked him over as he was the size of a SUV.

"You are a cub? How big are your parents?"

"85 meters, and I am the runt of the litter, but through my will to live I survived this long. Now, I am the magic teacher of Bruce Wayne. For now."

Bruce asked the question he needed to know. "What is he planning to do with this gate?"

"He is gathering a small force to guard his territory. That is it."

Shazam looked at the camera feed as a literal hoard of monsters emerged from the towering gate.

"That is small?"

Typhon just smiled as his pack numbered in the thousands. Superman shook his head as his morals did not agree with this.

"He can't just do what he wants. He is just conquering that area."

Typhon scoffed.

"My master is a Dragon God. He can do as he pleases, alien. And if you try to invade his territory, I will be freed of my pact and I will be forced to stop you."

Maulketh's Domain was ready to open a portal to summon the rest of Typhon's pack. A pack that numbered 100,000 strong.

Hearing that made the Leaguers to all ready to subdue Typhon. Shazam walked forward with open arms not knowing how strong Typhon was.

He lunged forward and wrapped his arms around Typhon's neck.

"Easy buddy. Just don't fight and you will b-"

That was as far as he got as Typhon head butted him. The blow was like he had Barry hit him with a full momentum punch.

He let go of Typhon was the rest of the League got ready to fight Typhon.

"The pact has been broken. There are several humans here in this place, if I break this place they will all die."

Dark red flames began to grow over his fur as Hellfire covered the wolf like a suit of armor. The metal around him began to melt and that was magical fire so everything began to burn. Superman rushed him and used his breath to try to put them out, but he only spread them.

Zatana raised her wand.

"Don't, leave it to me. Evaw Retaw."

A wave of magical water surged forward and covered his flames. However, unlike what they expected, her water was not putting out the fire. The water became like gasoline and spread the flames everywhere.

Doctor Fate raised his hands and used a spell to drag all of the fire and burning water to one spot before teleporting them into space.

Seeing that made Typhon curious. He was a cub so he was curious over many things.

How had his flames been teleported so easily?

As he was distracted, Wonder Woman's lasso wrapped around his neck causing him to pause. His fire tried to crawl up her lasso, but when the Lasso of Truth lit up, the flames stoped.

Typhon stopped fighting and extinguished his fire. As for Diana she sighed.

"Alright Typhon, tell us how to get into that barrier?"

He sat down and answered, but not what they expected.

"Just walk through it. He will allow it, but you will not be welcomed. Oh, and if you do not remove this from my neck, my pack shall shall be summoned to my location. In exactly a minute."

Wonder Woman did not do that and asked him another question.

"Your pack, how many are you?"

"100,000."

That was not a pack, that was an army. And Adults were 80 meters tall? What would happen if the full pack was set lose on Earth?

Wonder Woman removed her lasso which Typhon was never effected by. He walked off before opening a small portal to his pack. As he did so, Batman thossed a small camera at him, but Typhon swatted it away with his tail.

Once he was gone, the League all looked at each other. Batman for once was without a plan.

"What do we do?"

Cyborg who was monitoring the gate from which the monsters game from spoke up.

"I think some stronger monsters as passing through."

They all looked at the Camera as something squeezed out. A massive fur covered leg came out, before another did. They watched on as a giant bear covered in black metallic fur that crackled with lightning forced itself out. After the bear emerged a Giant 6 winged Eagle covered in metal feathers. Then a griffin that caused the wind to bellow like a storm.

And more and more equally terrifying monsters kept emerging.

Wonder Woman held her breath at the sight.

"Each one of those things is a world ending threat. And they are an army under that Dragon God?"

Superman would be mostly helpless in this situation, as they were all magical, but he would still go if needed.

"If Maulketh decides to set them loose, the world could end. We have to close that gate. Cyborg, chances we can blast it from here?"

"None. That Barrier is not letting me lock on."

Barry shook his head as he felt there was nothing they could do.

"Yellowstone is lost. Fighting just Maulketh would be a nightmare, but he has a freaking Army of super monsters. And more are coming out that gate. Making an enemy of him is stupid. We should give him the same rights of countries.

But we need to be ready for the day he decides all of earth should be his. Diana, are there Dragon Slaying swords of stuff like that?"

Diana nodded.

"I could ask Hephaestus if he could make such a weapon. We might need it."

Batman thought of a better idea.

"How about a device that has such an aura. We could use it to weaken him when we battle him. We will need chains, to hold him."

When Maulketh heard that he instantly got pissed. He had placed a law on himself and his race to be immune to Dragon Slaying Magic. But hearing that they would try to attack him angered him.

He lowered his hands as he just got done terraforming Yellow Stone. Mana and Divine Energy was flowing through the ground, air, water, plants and the barrier was strong.

"Damn heroes."

He turned around at some of the giant monsters gathering outside the gate. They were what he called Territory Lords. Most of the creatures in his Dimension fought every day to temper themselves.

Each day, they survived and killed to grow stronger eventually becoming Territory Lords. Creatures strong enough to claim their own territories which they had to defend from other Lords.

But right now, they came out to answer his call.

"You 6, I require your aid."

Near the gate, several Territory Lords stood so 6 walked toward him. The Bear, Eagle, Griffin, a Giant Demon Lord, a fully grown Hellfire Wolf and a giant shadow dragon. But the Hellfire Wolf was even more unique, he was a unique as he was the Leader of Typhon's pack.

"We answer your call."

The 6 creatures lowered their heads toward him. He smiled as he loved these guys so he blessed them. He placed his hands on each of their heads one by one. As he did this, on their foreheads, his personal blessing appeared as he blessed them like Ares has done him.

His Symbol was a recreation of his Dragon Form flowing with Divine Energy infusing them with greater power. Even Void Energy began to flow through the 6 blessed creatures.

Their eyes glowed as they felt glee at the blessing of their lord.

"We await your orders Lord."

"Go. I was going to be nice, but they are planning to make Dragon Slaying Weapons. I can't allow this. I was going to keep to myself, but they just had to plot against me. Go, lead an army of your kin and take the entire state of Wyoming. Let those who flee escape, but those that fight shall be captured as prisoners of war."

Was he being irrational? Yes. But they were the ones planning on making Dragon Slaying Weapons. Things that he and every dragon hated to the core. Just because you were immune to a certain poison, did not make it less of a poison.

Once his words were given the 6 blessed Territory Lords roared to the sky. A unified roar that spread through all of earth. The beasts that had crossed through began to gather around them and more spilled out.

When the 6 Lords began to split into 6 directions as a Sea of beasts followed them.

In the Watch Tower, the League was frozen as they watched the 6 Moutain sized beasts head to the barrier.

Wonder Woman instantly knew what happened.

"He knows our plan."

"Correct."

A projection of Maulketh appeared in the Watch Tower with Grimnar at his side. The League instantly became alerted as they watched his projection. He ignored them as he spoke.

"I was planning to keep to myself in my territory, but the moment you spoke of Dragon Slaying Weapons you forced my hand. You were not my enemies, but you made me yours the moment you spoke of such weapons.

Now, my army is on the move. Your move Justice League."

Before his projection was gone, Wonder Woman spoke up.

"Stop this madness. You will make a foe of the gods at this rate."

Maulketh grinned.

"I don't know how many times I have to say it, I am a Dragon God. The 'gods' are my enemies."

With that, his Projection disappeared. Maulketh opened his eyes as he watched the 6 armies enter Wyoming. The state only had 500,000 people, and his goal was not killing them.

He was not a heartless monster as to him, humans were not worthless. They had potential and they had more worth than just worship. As he was thinking, he felt a call from his dimension.

A particular creature wanted to come out. This one was not just a Territory Lord, this one was a Continent King. A creature strong enough to rule a continent on in his Dimension.

"Alright, face the League once they come."

Space was torn open as the giant monster came out. It had the head of a Saber Tooth Tiger, horns of a metal, body of covered in plates of metal, a segmented scorpion tail covered in blades, and 6 sets of wings.

It stood on 8 pairs of legs each tipped with razor sharp claws. It also stood well over 1,200 meters in height causing the ground to quake.

When he saw it he laughed. He loved his Dimension and everything that called it home.

"I answer the call Lord Maulketh."

Maulketh's Blessing appeared on it's head. It's power began to rise as it roared echoing through the land. It took to the sky to make sure the invasion went well.
