Maxieno really kept his word. Edna didn't get any work from the other dragons at all. Even at night, she only served Maxieno in the hall.

Not a single dragon had called out to her for extra alcohol or anything like that. Their insults and ridicule, however, were still heard.

"Is it just me or is Lord Max being gentler now?" asked Luffy, voicing his curiosity.

Otis and Edna, who were sitting in the kitchen, nodded at the same time.

"Did Lord Max say anything to you, Otis?"

"No, Lord Max seems care more about you. I'm also confused. Did he say anything to you, Edna?"

Edna shook her head. "I believe no. It's just that this morning Lord Max suddenly came and said that I would no longer be a servant to any other dragon beside him."
