The three dragon eggs had been incubated in a special room filled with interminable flames. The room was like a hot cauldron that never cooled down. Even the door was made of numerous layers, so the heat would not escape and injure others.
Only one person could walk in and out of the room unharmed. It was Arielle. And now it had been more than twenty years since the three dragon eggs had been handed over to her, but there was not a single sign that they would ever hatch.
Perhaps because her efforts had been fruitless for more than twenty years, Arielle was becoming more impatient and careless. She let all her power out simultaneously and coated the three dragon eggs with hotter flames than she usually emitted. In the end, what she did actually backfire on her.
"I will use my blood," said Suri, making Arielle and Ronan tense.
"For what? You don't have to go that far, Suri."
