CHAPTER 44: PRELUDE TO CANON II

A plane flew over the skies of Japan, making a droning noise and releasing years' worth of pollution behind in its wake.

Inside the cabin of the plane a white dragon lay on a young handsome teenager's face as they both slept. However, the sudden noise of a tray being pushed towards their seat by a beautiful hostess made them jerk awake from whatever dreamland they were in.

Houryu sat up after taking Sylvia into his arms to look at the hostess coming towards him with a full tray of food.

"Here's your food, Sir." She said respectfully, as she brought the food tray in front of the handsome young man in front of her while trying hard to hide her blush.

"Yes, Thank you." Houryu answered back as his eyes and nose were fully focused on the food in front of him.

'You can hate humans, but you can't hate their food.' he thought, as the heavenly smell from the food tantalized his nose, whetting his appetite.

Sylvia was also looking at the food and drool appearing at the side of her mouth, and only Houryu's hand around her was preventing her from jumping into the food in front of her.

"The pilot said to tell you that we are approaching the skies of Karakura." The hostess's voice came again bringing man and dragon out of their reverie as they turned to face her.

This time Houryu simply nodded at her, causing her to turn and leave while wondering who this young man was to be able to charter a plane to go on an impromptu flight just by talking to the Managing director.

Meanwhile, Houryu and Sylvia had already delved into the food before them.

".…mhm… sho guud…" Houryu mumbled between mouthfuls of prime wagyu beef and Sylvia nodded her little head in agreement of his words as her mouth was as busy as Houryu's.

After a few minutes there was nothing left of the food and Houryu and Sylvia were now resting after finishing their meal.

"Maybe I should hire a chef at karakura." Houryu wondered out loud as he lay in his chair.

"We are approaching the nearest airport to karakura town, please fasten your seat belts as we are about to land." The hostess's voice came from the speakers in the plane.

"Land? Who said anything about landing?" Houryu questioned, as he stood from his chair after picking Sylvia and began to walk towards the plane door.

Houryu reached the door and pulled it open, while still holding Sylvia in his other arm. After opening the door, he held Sylvia up to his face and spoke.

"Sylv, we are gonna jump." Sylvia upon hearing his words made a face as if she had eaten a bug and began protesting in her cute baby dragon language.

"Come on, you're a dragon, you can't be scared of the sky." Houryu retorted but that didn't stop Sylvia's protest.

"Don't worry about it, after all, YOU only live once, but ME, I'm Immortal" he said and laughed as he jumped out.

A few seconds later the hostess appeared with a surprised look on her face, "He didn't take a parachute." she mumbled as she looked at the plane's still open door.

Meanwhile,

*WHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO* Shouted Houryu as he fell from the sky and felt the wind beating across his body as he fell to what should have been his death.

*KYYYYIUUUUUUUU* squealed Sylvia beside him, as she fell to what would definitely be her death if she wasn't saved from the fall.

When they were about a thousand feet from the floor, Houryu grabbed Sylvia from beside him and began to shoot out fire from his feet to propel himself and slow their fall, until finally they landed.

After landing Houryu looked around and up at the night sky.

"Now What?" He questioned himself as he began walking away from their crash site.

While he is now in Karakura town, he is obviously not gonna sleep on the streets until he can discover whether canon has begun or not and if it has where they are now in the timeline.

He needs a home base and other amenities that any living person would need as long as he was here. Luckily, he didn't need to bother blending in by sending himself to a school, as he doesn't care much for that, and he is not going to those "torture houses " for "kids."

First thing first though, and that is, a realtor's office. Even though they shouldn't be open by now, there's nothing a little "persuading" won't fix.

"Now, how do I get to a realtor's office."

Since this chapter was extra short and due to a request, there would bean extra chapter today, but my PC is still not fixed yet so I apologise for any typos, if there are any
