Some Small Misunderstandings

After that, she tried to move slowly. She bought Zhang Wei's hands on her shoulders and caught hold of them. His hands were warm and when she held them she too felt warm. She walked and stood near the bed. She removed his face which was lying on her neck now and slowly leaned down to put him onto the bed.

"Huff... Who would have thought him to be this heavy??" Liu Rushi then took a deep sigh and let go all her breath which she was holding. For some time, she felt warm and happiness around her heart because she was able to unite with her first love.

But the identity of her first love was the one which was disturbing her.

Liu Rushi bent down and looked at his tired face. His face was really tired. All those dark circles covered his huge eyes. Few of his hair fell on his forehead. Liu Rushi used her hand to remove those hair falling on his forehead.

She remembered the time when she had seen him for the first time. He was just same like this. Maybe he grew some fat, but he was still the same. The same tall fellow. All his hair were always pulled up and now also his hair were pulled up.

She smiled looking at him and then went back to clean the room. The person who was lying on her bed wasn't asleep. Through the corner of his eye he was looking at Liu Rushi who was doing her work. He smiled a little and when he heard footsteps, he tried hard to suppress his smile.

It was really difficult to suppress smiles, to control the laugh. He felt someone touch his cheeks. As the touches were felt, something grew inside him. Some sort of warmth, some old feelings grew in his heart. He let her touch him and kept his eyes closed.

Liu Rushi had done her cleaning, so she had gone to take a look at Zhang Wei. When she looked at him, she felt an urge to touch him. Unable to control her urge, she touched him.

Zhang Wei's skin was very smooth and soft, just like girls. The moment she felt his soft skin, she envied him. She felt some movements from Zhang Wei so she immediately retreated her hand and went to the washroom to clean herself.

After cleaning up, Liu Rushi went downstairs to cook some food. Today it was her sister-in-law's birthday so her family had gone out to spend some time with their daughter-in-law. Only Yang Yue and Liu Rushi's parents had gone together.

Liu Rushi said that she will surprise her in the evening and as for her brother Liu Zhang, he was planning something huge for her which not even her parents or she knew.

Well, only 5 hours were left for the event to begin. They had told her to come before 9PM and it was already 4PM.

Eventually, Liu Rushi had thought that she would buy some gifts for her sister-in-law, but this Zhang Wei was sleeping in the house, so that's why she decided that she would stay till he wakes up and then leave.

Liu Rushi baked some food. No servants would come today since it was Monday. Usually, Mondays are off days for servants in the Liu's household. That's why she baked the food by herself.

When she was baking, she didn't notice that someone was looking at her. She didn't feel anything weird cause she was busy in inhaling the aroma of the food which was about to get cooked. She had cooked some Soy Sauce Fried Rice.

Obviously it was and that's why she was inhaling the scent but in reality it felt like as if she was eating the food.

To be honest, this moment is the worst, when the food is almost ready and you just have to wait for 5 to 10 minutes for it to get properly cooked up. That is the time when your hunger goes to a maximum level. Not even maximum it goes to an uncontrollable level.

Liu Rushi inhaled the aroma once more and closed the lid. After closing the lid, she turned towards the wash basin. Just as she turned, she jumped up in fright.

She calmed her frightened heart and shouted at the person standing before her "OH MY GOD!! You just scared me to death... Uggh!!" She took deep breaths and stared at Zhang Wei who was standing at the kitchen entrance.

Zhang Wei actually wanted to laugh looking at her frightened condition. It was true for him, that women are mostly scared about small stuffs and they need to be comforted after being scared.

So he went towards her and hugged her. Liu Rushi was baffled by his behavior. Her eyes were wide opened with shock.

She pushed him a little saying "Zhang Wei!!! Please move... I...I... have to check the food." After that she pushed him and turned back towards the boiling pot. Her cheeks were bright red and her ears turned crimson...

Zhang Wei smiled and stood beside her. He inhaled the aroma and licked his lips "Mhmm.... The food smells yum.. Delicious, to be precise...."

Liu Rushi listened to him and blushed a little. She hadn't cooked for a while. She thanked him "It's been a long time since I had cooked, I hope it tastes good." Zhang Wei looked at Liu Rushi. She was stirring the rice inside the pot.

"You know what?" Zhang Wei asked Liu Rushi.

Liu Rushi looked back at him surprised and asked "Know what?"

Zhang Wei folded his hands and started speaking "There was once a time, when I was going out for work, my eyes fell on one certain woman. She was beautiful.... pretty." He stopped speaking and started to think about his past.

The story which he was narrating to her was his story - Lei Qingshan's story. He wanted to open up to her about his identity. But he just couldn't get over with his dilemma that she won't like a businessman or so that's why he narrated it in Zhang Wei's way.

"Forget it. I think the food is cooked. I'm starving. Let's eat." Zhang Wei broke out of his trance and looked at the boiling rice.

Liu Rushi didn't know what to say. She felt some sadness in her heart upon hearing his words. She didn't know what it was, but she felt sad and sort of uneasy. Thinking it as something wrong she quickly brushed her thoughts and closed the stove.

She and Zhang Wei both settled the dishes and then Liu Rushi bought the cooked rice. She served him and herself too. And they both started to eat.

The whole time they didn't talk much except Zhang Wei who praised her cooking skills. Maybe it was because they both wanted to say something but couldn't say or hearing him, Liu Rushi felt sad and knowing about her first love, Zhang Wei felt troubled.

But the actual truth was, they both loved each other but didn't know that they were loving the same persons.
