On the night, Su Chen was completely unaware of Wang Haoyu's feelings.

Spending over 130,000 that night attracted many lingering glances from women in the bar, but Su Chen paid no attention to the makeup-wearing crowd, only noticing a girl named Yun Yun who caught his eye.

The long night passed quickly.

Jiang Xiaoqian learned from Wang Haoyu that Su Chen actually went to Century Bar and spent over 100,000 in one night! This was shocking news to Jiang Xiaoqian.

What shocked her even more was that Su Chen managed to hook up with a girl who was the star of the school.

This was more than she could bear!

Jiang Xiaoqian thought that Su Chen had cheated on her. So, first thing in the morning, she started calling Su Chen.

At that moment, Su Chen was still sleeping in his hotel room. When he saw Jiang Xiaoqian's name on his phone, he immediately hung up.

"Don't disturb my sweet dreams!"

After the apocalypse, there would be no more opportunities for beautiful dreams.

On the other end, Jiang Xiaoqian cursed, "That bastard Su Chen! How dare he hang up on me! Even if he begged on his knees, I wouldn't forgive him!"

Beside her, Li Na whispered, "Looks like Su Chen really is wealthy! Spending over 100,000 in one night; maybe he inherited some family fortune!"

Jiang Xiaoqian's eyes lit up. "That's very possible! Perhaps his parents intended for him to inherit it only after graduation. I've seen it in movies!"

Li Na linked her arm with Jiang Xiaoqian's. "Xiaoqian, we are best friends! If you marry into wealth, don't forget about me!"

Jiang Xiaoqian proudly lifted her chin. "We'll see."

That evening, instead of going to the bar again, Su Chen decided to visit the mall.

He planned to take one last stroll through the mall, get a haircut, and then wait for the end of the world to arrive.

In the bustling mall, Su Chen felt as though he was in a dream, reflecting on his struggles to survive in the apocalypse and now being in such a lively place was indeed thought-provoking.

After leaving the barber shop, it was already past nine o'clock.

At that moment, Su Chen spotted Wang Haoyu, Jiang Xiaoqian, and Li Na striding towards him with purpose.

Su Chen frowned. What do these three want again? Are they intent on causing a scene?

"Su Chen, what do you mean by this?" Jiang Xiaoqian glared at him.

Su Chen replied, "Is there something you need?"

Wang Haoyu pointed at him. "Stop pretending! Did you cheat on Jiang Xiaoqian last night with a woman at Century Bar?"

Su Chen turned to Wang Haoyu. "I'll give you two seconds to lower your hand."

Wang Haoyu quickly recalled a bad memory and immediately put his hand down, fearing Su Chen would lash out again!

Su Chen looked at Jiang Xiaoqian. "Get lost, don't bother me!"

After saying that, he turned to leave.

Jiang Xiaoqian hurried in front of him. "Stop right there!"

Su Chen turned around to face her. His expression was calm, but it made Jiang Xiaoqian feel like she had a lump in her throat.

Su Chen snorted and then turned to leave.

Jiang Xiaoqian watched his retreating figure, stamping her foot in frustration. "That Su Chen! Even if he gave me all his assets, I wouldn't forgive him!"

Li Na suddenly approached Jiang Xiaoqian and whispered, "What if he's doing this on purpose? Wealthy people like to play games; he might be testing your attitude."

Jiang Xiaoqian frowned. "But he's gone too far! I was so good to him before!"

Wang Haoyu thumped his chest. "Don't worry, Qianjie! As long as I'm here, he won't get away!"

Jiang Xiaoqian nodded and patted Wang Haoyu's shoulder. "Keep an eye on him. When I marry into wealth, I won't forget you!"

Wang Haoyu nodded eagerly. "Okay! Thanks, Qianjie!"

If Su Chen found out, he would undoubtedly scoff, "What fools!"

As Su Chen spent down to just over 50,000 left, various items he had ordered online began to arrive.

"Hello, Mr. Su? The twenty large fireplaces you ordered have arrived. Are you available to sign for them?"

"Mr. Su, the ten large ice machines have been delivered to your specified location. Where should we place them?"

"Mr. Su, the one thousand banquet tables you ordered are ready. Shall we send them over now?"

"Boss Su, the ice has been produced! Should we deliver it to the address you provided?"

Hearing these, Su Chen felt a sense of relief.

The supplies were finally here!

He instructed the delivery personnel to wait a moment and returned to the warehouse area.

Su Chen directed that the large fireplaces and ice machines be moved inside the warehouse.

He had bought substantial items; just one large fireplace required several people to lift, and it took several trucks to deliver twenty of them.

As the unloading process commenced, many people had gathered around the warehouse to watch.

However, in the city, there was not much camaraderie; no one knew anyone, and they were just there to witness the spectacle.

But standing among the crowd was Wang Haoyu, who was utterly astonished.

Although he didn't know the exact prices of the items, they were so large that they had to be expensive!

Wang Haoyu quickly reported to Jiang Xiaoqian, "Su Chen bought a lot of big machines; I'm not sure what they are, but they're currently being delivered to the warehouse!"

Jiang Xiaoqian replied, "Got it! I'm coming over now!"

Li Na asked, "What's going on?"

Jiang Xiaoqian explained, "Su Chen bought a lot of things, and I don't know what for, but I want to see if he has a surprise planned."

Although she was mad at Su Chen, there was no way she could ignore her desire to become a wealthy woman.

Truck after truck of large delivery vehicles rolled up to the warehouse, and under Su Chen's direction, the items were moved inside one after another.

Su Chen simply supervised without giving detailed instructions; just putting the items inside would suffice.

Soon, Jiang Xiaoqian and Li Na ran over excitedly. As they arrived, they spotted the logo of the Green City Hotel catering truck.

"Xiaoqian! Look, isn't that the catering truck from the Green City Hotel?"

Jiang Xiaoqian nodded eagerly, "Yes! It's definitely the Green City Hotel's catering truck!"

Li Na, ecstatic, grasped Jiang Xiaoqian's hand. "Do you think he might suddenly propose to you today, with guests arriving from all directions?"

Jiang Xiaoqian was thrilled as well, but she held her ground, "Hmph! Even if he does propose, I'm not sure if I'll say yes; it depends on his sincerity."

Meanwhile, Su Chen was watching as machines and ice were continually being delivered to the warehouse.

Su Chen pointed to the warehouse. "Inside, close to the ice wall; I've saved space for you. Just place them there."

Liu Xinrui didn't ask further and started directing the workers to get to work.

Jiang Xiaoqian and Li Na approached him.

"Su Chen, what's all this about?" Jiang Xiaoqian feigned surprise.

Su Chen looked at her and replied, "Bought some food and drinks; got some things to take care of."

Jiang Xiaoqian curiously inquired, "What things?"

Su Chen's eyes flickered as he said, "Can you help move some things? Once we're done, I'll tell you."

Jiang Xiaoqian was taken aback. "Move things?"

What a joke! She was on her way to becoming a wealthy woman; how could she do such rough work!

Just as she was about to refuse, Li Na whispered, "Qianqian, this could be a test! He wants to see if you qualify to be a rich woman."

Jiang Xiaoqian's eyes brightened, and she turned to Su Chen. "Sure! I'm not the kind of woman who's fussy."
