Stay focused!

Amelia felt empty when the warmth on her lips faded away. Surprised, she opened her eyes and looked up at Caleb. The latter looked worried which made her taken aback. Blinking, she kept looking at him, waiting for him to state his reasons.

Caleb put her down. They were five or six steps away from the door. He calculated how to solve the problem in his mind and of course, he got a great idea.

"I was thinking about you," He scratched behind his ear as he spoke. "You must be feeling shy, right? How about switching off the lights?"

Amelia frowned instantly. She wasn't a fool. Moreover, she knew what type of character he was. He was never the type to think about her feelings. He only wanted to do what he liked, didn't he?

This selfish man was thinking about how she felt?! She simply couldn't believe such bullshit. What was going on? Smirking in her mind, Amelia thought of acting bold. It was her time to take revenge.

"No need. I'd like to see you." She said with an unbelievably seductive voice.

Caleb's eyes widened. Was he hearing things?

"What?"

"You heard me just right."

"Amelia Carter, Are you for real?"

"Yep, of course."

Her nonchalant reply raised the temperature of his body. Slowly, all kinds of lustful thoughts started pouring into his mind and all of them were filled with Amelia's body.

Indeed, he had seen her. But the thing was, he didn't get the chance to taste her properly. He kinda regretted it that time, even though he would never admit that fact. Now, he got a second chance and yes... he would cherish it wholeheartedly.

He gulped hard. He was in a dilemma. Should he tell her the truth? But he didn't want to. He was afraid of her questions. What if she asked for the reason for him to restrain himself? How could he possibly explain the reason for not having sex with virgin girls? It was a long story and a hateful one. He didn't want her to know. Not at all!

"Whoa! You are so damn shameless." He had nothing else to say.

"Me?" Amelia pointed to her chest. "Ha! Mister Langstone, are you kidding me? You are the big fat shameless good for nothing player here. How can you accuse ME of being shameless? Unbelievable!" She shook her head in disbelief.

"No," Caleb refused. "I'm not a player anymore. At least, for the time being. I promise to be loyal to you throughout this year until our deal gets expired. I swear! Today is a mistake. It won't happen again."

Amelia folded her arms over her chest. "Tell me how to believe you? The top playboy in Sinisaga City. You can fool anyone you want to. But not me!"

Her words made him sigh. "I dunno how to convince you. Ugh, let's just forget it!"

"Hmm..."

Amelia walked up to the door to Caleb's room and opened it, stepping inside. Caleb followed her and he sneakily turned off the lights. Amelia turned around and glanced at him when the room turned dark. She squinted her eyes and adjusted her vision. The dim moonlight peeking through the balcony made it much easier.

The silver moonlight gained her attention. She reached the balcony and put her hands on the top rail, staring at the night sky. The cold breeze brushed against her body but she didn't care. She was busy admiring the full moon and the stars which accompanied the moon to brighten the sky. Maybe they were also delighted to see a rare admirer.

"Don't ask me to hand over a coat like a male lead from a stupid drama. I'm not gonna do that." Caleb's voice sounded behind her ear. Soon she could feel his presence. He was standing right behind her! What the hell?! She needed her freedom, okay?

"Huh, really? I wonder... how did you get to know that? Maybe... you secretly watched those so-called dramas, didn't you?"

"Heck no!" Caleb was upset and aggrieved. "I just know. Don't ask why. It's normal. Everyone including people who are NOT fans of football knows that this time Brazil won the FIFA world cup."

"They learned it by watching News."

"What if they don't watch the News? There are lots of ways to learn information. Same goes with me."

"They are two different things, Caleb."

"Not really."

"Duh! It's useless to argue with people like you."

"People like me?"

She made Caleb upset for the second time. She truly dared to get on his nerves. This time, he shouldn't show mercy on her and must eat her entirely. A malicious grin formed on his lips as he decided what to do.

Amelia was about to say something more when she felt his lips capture hers for the second time. As usual, her rationality vanished into thin air. Unconsciously, she pulled his hair a bit hard.

"Ouch!" Caleb pulled away from the kiss. "You are hurting me!" He stroked his head.

With an eye-roll, Amelia uttered, "What a big baby! You can't even tolerate such a simple thing. I wonder how such a person can be a playboy... Maybe all the girls you have slept with are delicate flowers or they acted softly because you are too delicate." She mocked him ruthlessly.

It was the biggest sarcasm he had ever gotten after so many years. She mocked about his man's pride! Should he let her go that easily? No way!

Caleb roughly grabbed her hips and pulled her towards him, lifting her while colliding his lips with hers. Amelia also wrapped her legs around his waist, kissing him back with the same expression. Both of them acted aggressively, not letting the other one win the battle. Yep, it was like a competition. Especially Amelia wanted to show him that she wasn't horrible in bed. She wasn't dead meat!

Caleb was surprised to realize that she was so energetic. But still, she wouldn't be able to catch up with his strength. He genuinely wanted to see how far she could go without being exhausted.

'Gosh, these damn nails!' Caleb cursed Amelia's long and sharp nails in his mind when he felt her digging into his back using both of her hands. She wasn't showing mercy on him either! He pitied his back. It was flawless before but now he wasn't sure about that. He even believed that it might be bleeding.

His thoughts were focused on his back so he didn't realise that he stopped kissing Amelia. Taking advantage of his distraction, Amelia bit his lower lip until it almost bled, muttering, "Stay focused!"

Caleb: "..."

Just like that, he took the lead in continuing the french kiss between them. Amelia didn't give up either. Instead of kissing, she mainly bit his lips, causing him to curse her in his mind again. This time, he didn't dare to think of the pitiful state of his thin, attractive lips. Or else, who knows what will happen to him? What if she did something more dangerous just because he was distracted for a mere second!?

The balcony wasn't a suitable place for them to continue. Hence, Caleb carried her all the way towards the bed and made her lie down. Then he was about to drop another kiss on her lips when he was caught off guard.

Amelia changed positions as she lay on top of him and she kissed him before he could take the initiative. Grabbing his shoulders, she kissed him like crazy and she was the very first girl to act so fiercely with him because other girls whom he slept with were afraid of offending him so they obediently let him do whatever he wanted to. Now that he thought about it, he realized that none of them wasn't as good as Amelia.

'My wifey is the best!'

"Stay focused!" Amelia bit his shoulder like a tigress.

Gosh! Was it okay for him to take back what he had thought?
