The Domain of All

In a world where all come together, and all fight for survival by lying, scheming, killing, and doing whatever one can do to win, clash! Monsters, Demons, Angels, Gods, and many more fight to survive in this beautiful world, known only as ‘The Banished.’ Where some see it as hell, others see it as a tranquil and beautiful world. Will anyone be able to reach the ever expanding strength of this world or will they fall before they even start? Due note that this is a FANTASY novel and that there are certain things that won’t make sense or will, completely take a left turn. I will do my best to explain but, for fucks sake it’s a fantasy novel and not realism. This is my first novel. Please be kind (if you can) and try not to troll (again, if you can) but, criticism is gladly accepted and will always be welcome. Also note again that this is also a harem meaning the MC will have multiple women, I know that this is not a very favorite genre for some but, I don’t care if you don’t like it because it’s my novel and not yours. Read it if you want or don’t. Cover is definitely not mine all credit to the original and no I don’t remember the creator

Don’t Hide

The sun was setting across the massive sand dunes and turning the day to night as the sky looked like embers across the sky. In a tent that was close to the medium water source Polemos was currently sitting on a hardened slab of sand reading what looked to be a very worn journal. It even looked like Polemos was about to finish reading Elder Spears journal.

'Please don't be sad Polemos it's my time anyway I'm already old and was going to die soon anyway just the date has been moved ahead. Just please don't lose that excitement you had about learning and doing new things. Live and find your happiness Polemos. Live, learn, and don't ever hide who you are, Polemos. I'll be watching.

Elder Spear.

When Polemos read the final message Elder Spear left he gripped the journal as his hands shook, as a couple of tears even fell on the pages. He wasn't sad when he read those final words; he was actually even happy as Elder Spear was still looking out and after Polemos from the afterlife.

'You damned Old Man, sure I'll make sure to do what you asked that I can promise easily. I just wish I could have at least given your own life back before you died, that way you could have been able to at least fish in peace and be a little happier.' Polemos had a smile on his face as he promised what Elder Spear wrote as his final thoughts, as he put Elder Spears journal back into his necklace.

Polemos rose to his feet as he stretched, cracking his neck and hands in the process. "He had so much insight and thoughts on how to fish, even enough to make his own technique. He even had some intriguing thoughts on the throwing harpoon which will help me increase my mastery over it. I wonder if the Minor-Oasis has a fishing competition or something like it, if they do I'll enter and see how The Elder Pear Fishing technique stands." Polemos gave a small laugh in the end.

Polemos then left his tent to look across the water source as the sun was descending across the sky. He saw Rose as she was swimming, diving underwater, as well as catching some fish that Polemos had never seen before as she was able to get closer to the bottom of the water source. The sun made for a beautiful scene as it continued to fall.

"The embers of the sun descend, bringing forth the silver beauty of the twin moons. But pale in comparison to the beauty that Death brings when a life has ended. Four souls will enhance her grandeur bringing true beauty to all." Polemos spoke aloud to himself and was even surprised when he realized what he said. "Where did that come from? I truly must be crazy." Polemos only shook his head as he pulled out the last thing Elder Spear gave him when he was alive. That odd looking fish scale.

The fish scale was a solid black color and was very smooth and felt cold to the touch. When Polemos held it in his hand he felt the cold smoothness on his palm as he looked at it.

"You know, ever since he gave me this fish scale I haven't pulled you out to even truly look at it. It really is quite a beautiful thing to look at. Maybe I should make a necklace out of it or something instead of leaving it inside of the necklace." Polemos let out a long and tired sigh after. As he put the fish scale away and looked out to the water source and watched Rose continue her swim.

'Also need to slightly alter my plans for ending the slave trade first as the information that Carl was able to give was expected but at the same time I hoped wasn't going to happen but it did anyway. Killing Mesakyle will make for a tricky situation but I should be able to pull it off if I'm smart about it.' Polemos was in deep thought after he recalled the information Carl gave him about the workings of the slave trade in the tribe.

Mesakyle was the leader of the whole operation but had a few others who followed after him. One of them was even Ashern which was a little ironic when Polemos would be able to take out one of his followers soon. As the other two were people whom he didn't know. One was called Eyes, while the other was a person called Jar-roll. The only information that Carl was able to gather for Eyes and Jar-roll was minimal, it only had that Eyes was a female while Jar-roll was a member of the tribe that was very low-key.

"I'll have to ask who this Jar-roll fellow is as he is a part of the tribe, maybe one of the gang knows who he is. But for Eyes, I'll probably need to ask Ashern about that as he might know something about her maybe." Polemos crossed his arms across his chest as he spoke aloud watching the sun continue to set. "Plus I can't wait to leave this damn tribe and explore, there are so many things that I currently don't know or understand yet."

Polemos smiled as his thirst for the unknown was very big, as this was a world he didn't know, and was eager to learn everything he could.

'Just need to wait a little longer then I'll be able to leave, explore, and learn whatever I find interesting. Plus I wonder who'll I'll run into on this wonderful journey. Well I know Rose is with me for the journey I wonder who else might join.' Polemos had a thoughtful expression on his face as he thought of the amazing things that could possibly happen on his journey.

As the sun was finally setting and brought an end to the day and started the long night as the first moon was showing in the sky. Rose rushed out of the water source heading over to where Polemos was currently as she was getting hungry. When Polemos saw that Rose was heading over he smiled but then realized that he forgot to start or make anything for dinner for the both of them.

"Shit, well I guess I shouldn't really be all that surprised as when I got done with training earlier I made camp here as well as read through the information and Elder Spears journal. But I guess I should start anyway. What should I make then? Since I have spices my options are so much more…." Polemos continued to speak aloud, figuring out what would be best to make for dinner for both himself and Rose as he had a good selection of both meats and spices to choose from.

But Rose was able to make it easy for Polemos as she was carrying a huge fish with her antenna. When Polemos saw what she caught he was very surprised as what she caught looked like a great white shark from his original world but this one had three fins as well as four eyes with very sharp and large serrated teeth. When Rose was close she dropped the huge shark looking fish as it made a loud thump when it hit the sand.

"Wow. That looks interesting. I wonder how you'll taste my friend, what do you think, Rose?" Polemos smiled as he looked at Rose as she responded by wiggling herself as she released multiple happy sounding hiss's.

"Hiss, hissss, hissssss."

"Well I hope so too because this'll be a first for me to cook and even try but I should be able to make something from it. Ah I know I'll try making shark fin soup, yeah that'll be great, add some nice spices, some fruit and for the meat I'll make some nice kebabs with some roasted vegetables." As Polemos was coming up with ideas on how to cook the shark his mouth was watering the entire time. "This'll be great, great catch Rose if you find any more of them, catch as many as you can because I think it's gonna taste great!"

Rose didn't really know what Polemos was saying but she was able to tell that he was very happy with the catch she brought as Polemos walked over and started to rub her head.

When Polemos started to rub her head she sunk to the sand as she wiggled back and forth from happiness.

Polemos and Rose and an amazing dinner as they ate the entirety of the Four Eyed Three Finned Shark. They weren't finished with the whole thing until both moons were high in the night sky as Polemos was looking at the multiple stars in the sky atop of Rose's head as he spoke to her.

"You know Rose, I really can't wait til I'm done here so we can go and travel this massive desert and see the amazing and deadly things it has to offer. I just hope Alayah, Ashern, and Alyan can give me a challenge or keep me entertained til we leave. Because I know that Mesakyle will at least provide that when it happens. It even looks like Hassan is doing something to prepare himself for when I come and take his life. I seem to recall him mentioning Ra when he called out to Alyan when he attacked the other day." Polemos spoke with a pondering expression but had a very excited smile on his face as he watched the night sky and looked at the multiple stars as he drifted off to the land of dreams and slept.
