Operation: Final Hours Pt. 2

'Hour 2, we've successfully infiltrated the Silo we did not expect that there will be a lot of enemies down here. Thankfully we've refilled our ammunition from the drop we've been given by Overwatch. For now we have to do whatever it takes to put this cure into that missile before it all ends. This is Tom, recording concluded.' As me and Mr. Porter begin our hellish dive into the void and as the air gets heavier and heavier we soldiered on.

"Kid you really sure? Seems like you're having a hard time to breathe." Said Porter. "No, Mr. Porter I'm totally fine its just this is the first time I breathe heavy air." Said Tom. "Ah okay... Your APEX should be adapting to it already right?" Said Porter I just nodded in reply since we heard an enemy conversation as soon we stood our ground from the ladder. We silently sneak around the area to check how many enemies are there.

Turns out there's a lot... "Kid there's a lot of them here." Said Porter and he is not wrong there is a lot of them but as we find out most of them are scientists most of the guards only are packing handguns. Even so we keep ourselves stealthy to finish this operation without any fuss hopefully. "Kid over here." As Porter whispers as they found a vent to crawl in to sneak around the facility. "It's a bit cramp but do you know where we're going?" Said Tom. As I follow Porter around the the vents.

"I've been in many facilities already kid Ventilation systems area always the same. We should arrive in the service room right... Now." Said Porter as they open a vent that ended up in one of the service rooms. "There should be an emergency floor plan around here." As I look around for a piece of paper or at least a book about the silo's floor plan.

"Kid found some overalls. You fine with doing undercover?" Said Porter. I did agree and we changed our clothes but to our luck we can't find a hiding place for it but then again I remember these are adaptive clothes so we tried wearing the overalls over it, and it worked just fine. "Okay this is gonna be a bit difficult for us now since we have to act that we're part of maintenance." Said Porter as they leave the maintenance room.

"Hello, there." Said one of the guards as he sees both of them leaving. "Just finished with this one." Said Porter in a convincing voice. "Ah, I see good day then." Said the guard as they leave the area. Damn we that was smooth coming from Porter he is the professional from the two of us so I just need to follow his steps. As we walk around the silo area we entered the next maintenance room.

"Okay kid, we're near the main silo but we need everyone out of there so we can change the nukes inside those missiles." Said Porter as we went and began to go to their second phase. "Since we're not gonna kill them why not use the vents into our advantage and make them fall asleep thankfully they did brought out extra sleep medicine that is very potent I just need it to become a liquid and spray it in the vents Mr. Porter I recommend wearing a mask for now. Even with out APEX systems we'll be knocked out as well." As I begin spraying the medicine into circulation.

After knocking everyone out of cold me and Porter quickly went to work replacing the nuclear payload and replacing it with the cure in a bomb form now. "Kid, this seems a lot of nukes in a single missile." Said Porter while handling the crane removing the payload. "I know from the looks of it the destination of this missile is in Germany. I'll keep the destination but I'll advance the destination once it reaches the highest point in the sky to effectively spreading the cure in the air." Said Tom.

"Kid, payload is replaced and ready how's on your side?" Said Porter. "Finishing we have a few minutes left we should go now." Said Tom as the two of them escapes the facility as quickly as they could to find shelter to be in when all of the nukes goes off. "Hey, Kid how much time we have before all hell goes off?" Said Porter. "It says that they're launching it within 30-40 minutes. I set the cure missile to be 10 minutes earlier so that will be the signal for us to brace for impact." Said Tom.

"Oh yeah, Kid I forgot to ask you how many nukes are gonna be used?" Said Porter. "You sure you don't wanna be surprised by the number of it?" Said Tom. "Just get on with it." Said Porter as we run away from the silo. "The total number is 80 Nukes." Said Tom. "Holy shit. That is a lot." Said Porter. "Told you so, and each major country has at least 3-4 nukes on every single one of them." Said Tom.

"Damn, better get running do you know the closest bunker we can stay in? Also better contact Overwatch before all of hell goes out and be unleashed upon the world." Said Porter. "Sure." Said Tom as we arrive in the nearest bunker thankfully not populated by anyone we locked ourselves there and contacted Overwatch.

"Hello Overwatch? This is Tom, we have failed Humanity..."

The curtain calls for the final hours of Humanity... I hope you keep enjoying this series watch out for the upcoming chapters it may surprise you!
