The disastrous life of another psychic?

I must say, you don't appreciate what you have until you lose it, especially when you see the blue sky with the sun shining full force instead of the roof of your house. "Ah...at least it's a pretty nice day today" The world seemed to disagree with me as a bird flew over me and dropped its heavenly gift of nature on me. "At least it was a pretty nice bird." ---- I'm just writing this out of boredom and because there really aren't many Saiki fanfics so don't expect a scheduled update, I just write for fun :) I am NOT a native English speaker

A Nice Sky

"The sky is quite beautiful today." Being in your bed a few seconds ago, blinking, and then finding yourself facing the sky is not very usual.

Normally, I would panic in this situation. After all, just a few seconds ago, I was in my bed staring at the ceiling of my room. However, this could all be a dream.

Still lying on the ground, I proceeded to pinch my cheek, like in one of those cliché transmigration novels. "Ouch…"

It seems like I'm not in a dream, or at least that's what the dozens of transmigration novels I've seen tell me.

However, there is no logical explanation for why, in the blink of an eye, I went from being in my bed to staring at the clouds like a certain pineapple-headed character...

"At least the sky is pretty beautiful today..."

*SPLASH*

"At least the bird was quite beautiful."

After getting up from where I was and clearing my throat from all the screaming. I proceeded to look around, trying to understand where I was.

...

"What? Wait, did you not read that I screamed? That's normal, don't worry, the lazy author took out the part where I screamed like a frightened child."

Setting that aside, I must say that I appeared in a rather interesting location, to be more specific, in the middle of a forest. Quite interesting indeed...

However, I hear what I want to think are the horns of some cars. "I shouldn't be too far from civilization."

Then I began my walk towards the noise while scanning my surroundings for a bear or something like that.

After walking for a while, I stopped to rest for a bit, although I wasn't tired; I just did it for a bit of drama.

I tried to lean against a tree only to find myself falling backward with the tree the very next second.

Once again, looking at the sky, it seems that one always returns to where they were happy, only my situation might not be ideal.

Then the tree was somehow already halfway pulled out of the ground, and all it took was a little push for it to come off completely. Or maybe it was rotten.

After all, having something like super strength was completely out of the question, since this wasn't a cartoon world where the protagonist gains power against the odds just by breathing.

However, it could be a non-negligible possibility, considering that I appeared here out of nowhere in the first place.

So, I stood up and approached another tree while striking a pose to throw a punch, like a certain bald man in his openings.

I took a deep breath and focused all the inner energy I had, just to give it my all in this punch. "AAHHHHH" I threw the punch and...

The tree only shook a bit before stopping and dropping some leaves on my head. "It seems like my hypothesis wasn't correct..."

Fortunately, I was in the forest, so no one had seen me make that pathetic eighth-grade syndrome-like spectacle.

After a few more glances at the tree and shaking off the leaves from my head, I proceeded to continue my journey toward the sound of cars. I needed to hurry up and get out of here before it got any later.

By the way, I forgot to introduce myself, but better late than never, right? My name is Satochi Aoki, a completely normal high school student. I'm not super-intelligent, I don't have super strength, and I don't have a harem system. I'm just completely normal.

Alright, happy now? Anyway, you can call me Sato for short. By the way, it seems like we're about to reach civilization. The noise of the cars is getting louder every second.

Each step I took brought me a little closer to leaving this forest with its rotting trees and bird shit.

As I reached what seemed to be the end of the forest, I brushed a couple of leaves off my face, only to find myself blinded by a dazzling light.

"This... This is..."

Yeah, just a completely normal street with cars passing by. What were you expecting? But that didn't diminish my excitement.

"YEAHH FINALLY"

I screamed at the top of my lungs in a definitely not exaggerated way, considering I had only walked for about 30 minutes.

Looking up at the sky once again, it seemed even more beautiful than when I first woke up. Could it be that I am the child of the sky? A lost celestial child?

*SPLASH*

...

After a minute of contemplating my life and cursing a bit, I calmed down to analyze my situation a bit.

I'm by a street where cars are passing by, and there are quite a few of them. I hope they didn't see the scene where I started screaming like crazy.

But that doesn't matter in my current situation. I stood on the side of the street, raised my arm, and gave a thumbs-up signal.

Please, someone stop, please, someone stop, please, please, please, please.

I put on a smiling face when I saw a car slowing down, apparently to help me, only for it to accelerate suddenly the next second over a puddle of water near me, soaking me.

*CRACK*

"WAIT FOR ME, YOU FUCKING BASTARD, I'll BATHE IN YOUR MAMA'S WATER!"

Taking a couple of breaths to calm myself, I continued standing in my position with my arm raised and thumb up. I must keep my mind at peace like a Buddha to whom nothing and no one disturbs their mental tranquility.

After waiting for a while, it seems like the heavens took pity on me because a car started to pull over and slow down in my direction.

However, I didn't let my guard down. I took a couple of steps back just in case they also wanted to give me a free shower.

After chatting for a bit, he kind gentleman agreed to take me to the nearest city, which happened to be where he was headed.

Completely ignoring how I was fluently speaking Japanese even though I had never studied Japanese before, I quickly got into the car. I only recognized the language from having watched a couple of anime in the past.

After an hour of chatting with the good Samaritan, we finally arrived in the city, where he dropped me off on a random sidewalk.

"It seems like here begins my new life..."

*SPLASH*

"The sky is indeed quite beautiful today."

I didn't notice that a few tears were streaming down my face...
