60 Chapter 60 The End of the First Volume

Leaving Azazel's office, I decided to ask Ophis something that was on my mind from the moment she appeared with Great Red.

"Ophis, why didn't you told me that your followers have betrayed you? That way we could have remained home and eaten some good cookies while I was thinking about a way to rescue my lovers."

"Didn't ask. Can I get a cookie now ?"

What did I expect? She's way too innocent for her own good, not that a normal living being could ever hurt her, but just as that old fool did, he gained power by fooling my new plot armor (Ophis).

Back home, I quickly backed a few hundred cookies for Ophis using my mother's recipe and after two hours of cooking using my clones, I finally had a plan.

While Ophis was eating her cookies, I was thinking if I should just declare war on the devils for sheltering Shalba or if I should just nuke the hell out of the place where I know for certain that the old devils live, after I rescue my lovers, of course.

My plan was fairly simple and it involved all of the factions that were using Japan as their home. My goal was to create panic amongst the devils and by doing that I could easily find where my lovers are, after all, one or two people will surely open their mouths when I would beat them or torture their souls.

Summoning three wraiths (the only ghost unit that can talk and teleport to my location if needed) to inform and take the leaders of two of the three big factions to me and Yasaka, as the representative of the Youkais to inform them about what is about to happen.

Not even fifteen minutes later, three magic circles appear in my room, and from the six people exited. While I was expecting some people to come with the leaders, I didn't expect Michael to bring his sister, Azazel to bring his secretary, and Yasaka to bring Nurarihyon.

The first one to talk was our not-so-friendly old pervert scientist.

"Please tell me this isn't what I think it is."

Looking at them, I could tell that Azazel has clearly informed his subordinates and in a sense brother about that I visit him a few hours ago and that a conflict with the devils will happen. Yasaka also managed to understand that something big will happen from seeing the Heaven and Grigori leaders here which makes her quite confused, after all, why was she invited here?

"First things first, I want to thank you for coming here, when this doesn't have anything to do with your factions and I hope no one belonging to your factions will be hurt in my conflict. Yesterday, the old faction aka the old devils attacked my home and kidnapped my lovers, not to mention killing a few of my people and injuring quite a lot of them in the process. What's worst is the fact that the devils' kings decided to hide the fact that the one person that killed my mother is being hidden in their backyard under their protection. I don't expect your help, I don't even dare to ask you for that, after all, you guys will only lose, but I've decided to be civilized and inform you about what will happen. I'm not a fan of war, but it seems that this is the only way that I can use to show the devils that I don't forget what they did to my family."

No one said anything for a few minutes and instead, they digested the words that I just said to them and while I said that I don't want to involve their sides, they knew that one way or another they will be dragged into the war.

After a while, Michael decided to be the first one to speak.

"Haru-kun, can I call like that right? After all, your mother was my sister, which makes you my nephew. I don't know what did Sirzechs thought would have happened to shelter that devil, but Heaven is supporting you. They killed a Seraph, while it is true that she was weaker than when she was in Heaven, plus the fact that she forcefully tried to become more humane than before made her lose her powers. Heaven supports you on this, the devils went way too far this time. The church will send a crusade to help you while I will lead the angels."

I was surprised by what I just heard. From what my spies have found about him, I couldn't put him into that category, the warmongers or at least someone that will jump into a war, but seeing a member of his family being killed and his nephew attacked probably made him see that the devils were becoming more arrogant than ever.

"I've got to say, I didn't think you had the balls, Michael. Joining a war isn't something you would have done a few years ago. What changed your decision?"

"Michiru's death, the fact that I just found out that she had a kid and the constant threat the old devil faction has against the world. Father sacrificed his life to end the old Satan and end the war so that the devils could continue to survive, but as much as it hurts me to say it, it seems that his selfish sacrifice was almost for nothing."

"Haru, I'll send Kokabiel and his followers to help you, though I'm pretty sure it won't matter how many people we will send to help you. Lady Yasaka, Nurarihyon, what's your take on this matter?"

"The Kyoto Youkais will side with Yoshida Haru."

Hearing her words, all of us turned towards the last man that didn't speak, Nurarihyon. (Gabriel and Azazel's secretary doesn't count. After all their leaders already sided with Haru, not to mention the fact that the Youkais don't have a ruler over all of them because they prefer regional leaders over a supreme one.)

"Kid, before I decide on what my people will do, answer my question: What God are you? I believe we deserve to know that if we are allies."

Now that's a good question. I can see why he wanted to find out what kind of God I am, after all even a delivery God can be a strong foe.

"My people call me the chosen one. A protector against the taints of chaos that plagues their world. A God worthy of being followed on the battlefield as I lead them to glory and nonetheless, a ruler that doesn't make his people slaves for his own good. I'm the King of Nehekhara and at the same time the first true God of Nehekhara."

"I see, I don't know what that name means, but I can see that you are proud of it and you don't smell like a tyrant. The Kanto faction will support you Yoshida Haru."

Turning towards all of them, I bowed in front of them as a sign of respect and at the same time to show that I was grateful for their support.

"Thanks for all of your support. It means a lot."

"Don't be so humble, Haru. I know you better than most of them, maybe Yasaka-san knows you a little better. Tell us what are you planning to do now?"

"Invade the Underworld of course. "

Saying those words, I begin to walk away from them, but not before giving them a show that may or may not give a better understanding of my power.

"Arise my legions! We have an enemy to slay."

One by one, my loyal tomb guards begin to crawl from under the ground, followed by my stronger soldiers, my generals, and finally my monstrous constructs.

Thousands of undead soldiers were covering the streets and as soon as I opened a portal towards the underworld, completely destroying their defense system, my army began to march.
