Chapter 54

I'm currently in my bar serving the customers alongside Neji while my girlfriends and his girlfriend were talking between themselves in one of the corners of the bar.

It's been almost two weeks from when I talked with Serafall and her sister, not to mention the bet that I won that day.

Currently, I was politely explaining to some girls that I and Neji can pose for them while we were working and if they really want to have a photo with us, they may need to wait until we close. While I didn't have anything against some free publicity, I was sure that those girls were trying to get our numbers so that they could try their luck on and while it may seem a blessing, the gazes my girlfriends were giving me were enough for me to not even think about what could happen and I'm pretty sure Tenten was giving her death glare to Neji, poor guy, got himself into something more than dangerous than a Yandere, he got a jealous girl that slowly will learn from a stalker, a sadist, and a Yandere …

Besides the drinks that we sell, I had the brilliant idea of asking some of the wives or daughters of my yakuza clan if they want to work for me, and surprisingly six of them accept my proposal which made me happy. I told them that I planned to expand my bar and serve some baked goods there like cookies, pies, bread/rolls, sandwiches, donuts, and wraps. After all, drinking alcohol on an empty stomach ain't the smartest idea one could have and why shouldn't I profit from this?

As I was talking with Neji about how his date with Tenten went, a group of people entered into the bar and while this shouldn't be a surprising sight, I was really surprised to see Vali and his team coming here and while I know that they won't dare to start a fight here, I still need to be one hundred percent sure of that.

"What can I do for you, sir?"

"Just give something low on alcohol or even better without it."

"Right away, sir, and for the rest of you?"

Kuroka and Le Fay decided to order a cocktail each while Arthur ordered a bottle of water. The monkey on the other hand decided to amuse us and ordered some beer as if I would serve him that. While he's a pretty decent fighter, he's dumb as hell and if he gets drunk I'm pretty sure that I'll have to take him out …so as any good bar owner, I served him some non-alcoholic beer just to humor him.

"Now can I know who do I own the pleasure of having you five here?"

"I wanted to apologize for what happened back there. I know that you didn't want to fight us, but we forced your hand and even lost, miserably I could say…"

"Apologizes accepted and while I was pretty angry at monkey boy and you Vali, I didn't hurt your other friends as they didn't attack me and that improved their standing in my eyes. After all, I wanted to speak to Ophis and not pick a fight with my step-cousin, I think."

"Cousin? What makes you think Vali is your cousin-nya?"

"Azazel was a friend and somehow family with my mother and that makes him my uncle and thus making Vali my cousin, though I didn't think about it until now if I'm going, to be honest."

"Azazel didn't mention this to me, and I think I know why he didn't…As all of you already know I want to kill a certain man, and adding the fact that I'm a battle maniac can make a volatile person…"

Hearing him admitting that he's a battle manic was kind of surprising, but I had my people dig into their backgrounds and what I found wasn't nice. One thing was sure I could use what I found about them to make them useful for my plans, of course only if I was someone we all hate.

"I know that this may be a sensitive topic, but I want to talk with Kuroka alone if possible. I promise I won't hurt her if that helps."

The first one to talk was the quiet Arthur Pendragon and while I was hoping for the monkey to be the first one to talk, Arthur's choice of being the first one to talk was probably the best scenario for me knowing that he was probably the smartest guy in the group after his sister.

"Yoshida-san, I don't know why do you want to talk with Kuroka alone, but I know that you aren't a bad guy, at least not on daily basis. After all, you could have ended our lives on that day, am I right ?"

"No comment, but I can tell you that I don't plan to hurt anyone from your group, at least not unprovoked."

"Fair enough, I choose to trust you, so please don't make me become your enemy, because I value m friends and see them as my family."

I could only smile at him, this guy may not seem to be someone that loves his family, but he's probably the only guy in the entire world who will declare war on the entire world for his sister and I can understand why. After all, I'm slowly starting to gather my forces for the war against the Khaos Brigade and for avenging my mother so that I could bring her back to life.

One by one all of her friends decided to trust me and let me talk with Kuroka alone while they moved to another table.

As we talked with each other I decided to bring the reason why I wanted to talk with her alone.

"Kuroka, I know that it wasn't easy for you to let your sister alone, but I want to tell you that she's doing good with the Gremory."

At first, she didn't know what to expect from me, a guy that managed to take down their whole team, but when she heard me speaking about her sister, I saw her slowly starting to get angry and sad, so, like any good guy, I decided to calm her down.

"At the same time, my people found quite a fair amount of evidence about what happened there, and if you want I could help you reunite with your sister and get that title removed after all you aren't a criminal, on the other hand, that piece of shit should have been called one for all of those crimes that he and his lackey did."

Unlike the first time, Kuroka slowly walked towards me and hugged me and thank me through sobs, thankfully I managed to cast an illusion so that she won't be seen crying, but just as she hugged me, I could feel three murderous gazes on me, but I just nodded towards Neji, who brought the information about Kuroka to my girlfriends.

After a while, Kuroka manages to regain her composure.

"Haru-kun, thank you so much for doing this for me, but I can't accept your help, at least not right now-nya."
