62 Chapter 2(V2)

"We have to give them back to him you idiot and even if you don't believe me, Haru-kun will make the whole underworld a barren land to find them and if even a tiny wound appears on their bodies, your precious little sister will die."

"Hehehe, what can a little kid do? Throw insults towards me? He's barely an ultimate class, what can he do against a Super Devil? Tickle me? Let him come and …"

Just as he was about to continue something destroyed the defensive barrier that was put to protect the building and immediately after the barrier was destroyed, I heard the only thing that I didn't want to hear right now…Haru's voice.

"You picked the wrong side fool!"

At first, Sirzechs didn't believe that Haru managed to come right next to the capital, but when Grayfia confirmed it, his face becomes slightly panicked, after all only something as strong as or stronger than a Super Devil could forcefully enter through the underworld barrier.

Thankfully for us, he didn't go mad, so as any leader that knows what to do, Sirzechs quickly ordered his wife to prepare the troops and he even summoned the other two Devil Kings, after all, Haru-kun just declared war on the Underworld and all available hands are to be present here in case the worst happens.

While this was happening, I didn't know what to do. While I was one of the Four Devil Kings, I couldn't risk my entire family and their territories, not after what Sora told me.

"Onee-san! You have to stop Haru-san from doing anything stupid. He's way too angry and I fear that we may not be able to recover from this if my fears are right about him."

"Wait, wait, wait. What are you talking about Sona? What's Haru doing?"

"He just called me and warned me to remain in the human world and not come to the underworld and if I could to tell my family the same thing. He said that Sirzechs just become the target of a blood debt, whatever that means."

"Thank you for telling me this So-tan. Don't worry, nothing will happen to mom and dad or anyone from our territory …"

Finally making my mind, I turned towards Sirzechs to tell him my decision regarding Haru-kun.

"Sirzechs, I'm sorry, but I can't risk my family for a traitor. As much as it pains me to know that we may lose, I don't want to become just a casualty of war for someone that doesn't even care about his race. My family won't join the war, but neither will we help Yoshida Haru. We will remain neutral and I will even dismiss my title. Once again I'm sorry, but my family's safety comes first."

"Get out! You traitorous whore! Pray that we will lose because after we skin that bastard, I'll come after you!"

My friend, you have walked a path of destruction and that corrupted your mind… Haru-kun, I'm sorry for not finding this idiocy sooner…

The news of my departure made many devils question what really happens and if the so-called enemy was truly an enemy. Thankfully not all of the devils were idiots that followed every order like some cult members and thanks to the small opening left by Haru to the people that didn't want to take part in this madness, more than half a million devils decided to leave the city and declare themselves neutral in this war.

Thankfully for them, Haru didn't pursue them in any way, though both they and I managed to see Haru's ever-growing army and by the time we were a few kilometers away from the capital, we finally saw the end of his army. Millions upon millions of his skeleton soldiers and abominations were surrounding the city and not even if we all join the fight, I'm sure that the city will fall. No matter how strong someone is he or she can't ever win against the sheer amount of enemies that were surrounding the city.

I just hope that Haru won't go too over the board in his quest of saving his lovers…

More than 80% of the city inhabits decided to leave together with Serafall and to be fair I didn't expect her to declare herself neutral together with her family and all of those people that left the city. While I could just go all Danzo on them, I wasn't that ruthless to kill innocents, the remaining people though? They were guilty or at least dumb enough to not see what was surrounding their city.

Let's just show them a little bit of superior firepower.

"Caskets! Fire at will, no matter where it lands in the city!"

Thousands of Caskets of Souls begin to fire their souls like shells towards the city and thanks to me destroying the barrier with my voice, all of those soul shells hit the city, destroying quite a lot of building in just one volley.

"Again!"

Once again, my caskets fired and this time I could feel the souls of those that were killed coming into my soul realm. Quite an interesting matter, I could say, after all The Soul realm of Nehekhara wasn't from this world, but who I am to say no to more troops?

After another six volleys, I decided to end this assault, after all, it already becomes a barren city with more than two hundred thousand casualties from their side.

Flying above the city, I decided to first look after Sirzechs and as soon as I moved my sight towards the only building that was more or less intact, I saw him together with another two guys looking at me.

I smiled at them because I could feel the fear that was radiating from their bodies, especially that red-haired bastard, so without wasting any more time with this petty show, I decided to let the remaining devils know what overbearing power really means.

Raising my hands above my head, I looked right into Sirzechs eyes before I completely shatter any remaining hope, their idiotic group may have.

"This World shall know Pain! Almighty Push!"
