The two families or you can say three families including Suraj Kapoor's family which Monika never considered as her own ate together their dinner for a while.
After a while, all the wedding ceremony ended Monika with a very heavy heart went to meet her mother in her room who slipped away from the family crowd.
Her mother was sitting on the bed and taking a sip of wine from the glass in her hand.
"Mom, what are you doing?"
" I am doing you a favor"
Avantika replied slyly.
"What?" Monika asked in confusion.
" Nothing!" Avantika sighed and kept her wine glass on the bedside table." Happy married life my dear" she blessed her and called Monika near her opening her arms.
Monika smiled and went to hug her mother. " I hope you will be fine mom and will take care of yourself" she murmured in her mother's embrace.
" I will dear, and you also take care of your hubby more than yourself. Now you don't have to prove anything to your father's family, prove yourself that you can be a good wife."
"I will try my best "
" Always remember you are better than any other girl. "
" I know I am"
"Slow and steady wins the race. Don't rush into things OK, Men are always like this and it's your responsibility to control them. To control you have to make him fall for you. With your mind, body and soul"
"Hmm" Avantika was blabbering as the wine was reaching her nerves.
" Don't let history repeat itself. I don't want anyone to think or comment that we mother and daughter can't handle husband in our life. Take him as a challenge. "
" Mom!" Monika whined
" What? I know you are just like me. You will never let anyone hurt you until you wanted to get hurt "
" Isn't that a good lesson our life taught us?"
" Nope, sometimes hurt is the most amazing feeling which makes you realize you are in love "
" What are you saying mom and why now ?"
" Guess what, I want to remember my old times. when I married for twice "
Monika noticed the hurtful emotions in Avantika's eyes but never knew how to take her out of those marriage regrets. No one can change what happened in the past and no one can ignore the present. She hoped future is something from which she can expect.
" Whatever mom I am very blessed to be your only child," she said to cheer her mother.
Avantika released Monika from her embrace and stood up.
" Now lets go, they must be waiting for us. Let me finish this honor to give my daughter finally to her groom"

Again media was there taking the pictures of newly wedded couples and covering their ceremony details.
Monika's father Suraj Kapoor was waiting outside with his family to wish his daughter a happy married life and fulfill his fatherly duties.
Monika hugged and gave a side kiss to all the family members one by one, plastering a fake smile all her way.
When she reached near Tina, Tina embraced her and whispered for only her to hear.
"I hope it won't last long "
Ofcourse Monika was expecting this so, she smirked at her no need to retort her back.
Finally, Suraj came and took Monika's hand to lead her near the Utkarsh's car.
Monika sat inside the black SUV car decorated nicely with tulip flowers and sighed in relief when the car door close and now she can feel herself with Utkarsh sitting on her beside.
The car drive was smooth when they reached Utkarsh bungalow.
Some of Utkarsh's relative was standing near the door of the house to welcome her and did some rituals before letting her enter inside the house.

Karan Wadhwan
Karan Wadhwan blessed both of them when they touched his feet together.
" You are a lovely couple " he complimented them and patted Utkarsh on his shoulder.
" Monika beta, I want to talk to my son for a minute till then you wait for him inside his room "
Monika nodded her head and the giggling ladies behind her lead her towards the Utkarsh's room.
'wow, the room looked breathtaking with the beautiful decoration inside.
Everything was decorated in red from silk bed sheet to the rugged floor mat which made her smile.
She took a long deep breath and helped herself to sit down on the bedside.
She didn't know what to feel and what to expect from the new family she just joined. She took her phone out from her purse to see the wishing messages in Whatsapp.
She copied thank you and pasted to all. Then she scrolled through the media section and saw freshly updated pictures and videos of her wedding. They did better work than the photographer they called to make a wedding album. She chuckled seeing herself not giving any good pose in the pictures.
Then she clicked a video where her mother blessed her daughter in a comment while talking to a media person.
"I am so happy after full filling my another motherly duty"

Then her stepsisters Tina and Shanaya also expressed their fake feelings for her " we are very happy for our sister"
Yeah very happy she can see all the drama covering the media post. 'fuck this media life'
She heard the door open and she kept her phone to the bedside.
