Chapter 9: The Marks Can Give Abilities?

       I had the thought that there is a small chance of the existence of something or someone who is watching us somehow, I didn't have any clear evidence to confirm my idea, so I didn't tell James of that possibility because I didn't want him to panic when we don't have a clear answer, time went by and the night had fallen, and at that time a surprise showed up, I didn't know why but I was able to see quite clearly in that dark night, I was to identify anything like if  it was day time, when I told James he didn't believe me and said that I was pranking him, so I told him to pick something from the cave and throw it outside where it is dark, I closed my eyes and he picked up a pencil (Leo's) and threw it like I told him, and when I opened my eyes he told to look and tell him what he threw and where he threw it, I started looking and it wasn't long until I saw the pencil laying on the ground and at that exact moment, I pointed my finger at the pencil and said while smiling "there it is, Leo's pencil"

James didn't believe it and kept testing me, but  after he tested me several times, he couldn't do anything but to believe me, at that point we started talking again, and concluded at the end that the eye mark is the one that gave me the ability to see in the dark.

           But after that James told an idea that made me very excited, he said "if the eye mark gives you the ability to see in the dark, then there is a chance that the other mark helps you hide your self better so nothing can detect you, like a stealth ability, and maybe each mark can gives you more then one ability" I was super excited that I told him while shouting "what if the eye mark can make see more clearly in the day and give the ability to identify even an ant from a far distance, doesn't that mean that I well be able to hunt the correct way, like using the stealth ability to hide myself and the eye mark to find the target and ambush it"

As I finished the sentence, something came to my mind and it was that if we can find a way to get more marks it would mean that we will get stronger and our chance to survive will increase, and at that moment James stood up and told me "let's go to sleep now, it seems that tomorrow will be full of test" he said while looking at me with an evil smile, as much as I was excited to test if I got any more abilities I was very scared of what kind of test James will make me go through, so I went to bed terrified, but the moment I fell asleep, I saw myself in the white dream again, but this time there was a small ball in front of me when I picked it up and looked at it, it had the eye mark on it, and suddenly a voice come to my head and said with a really scary voice "dig a hole and plant it like a seed" I started shouting "who are you" , "what do you want" and many more, but there was no answer I dug a hole and planted the seed just like he said, and immediately  a sprout came from the white soil, as the sprout came out I heard a voice again but this time it said "the more you use it the bigger it grows and the stronger the ability become" and just after he finished his sentence  I woke up it was already sunrise and James hadn't woke up yet.
