the diary of a nobody

Richard was just your average nobody with shitty parents, just the usual sob story. He just wanted a simple life with no trouble.once he turned 18 he would leave but..fate being a prude little bitch denied him that simple wish. The apocalypse happened. Zombies happened. Was he destined to watch as the world crumbled infront of him? Or will he rise to the challenge? His response to that was "another Monday huh..Great just great this sounds as stupid as giving physcopath a gun..let's just do this.." author's note: text me for queries folks The book has been paused. prequel- Trial of Fire and blood

"How long has it been..3 billion, or was it 2 billion years? I can't remember the time.. but I still can remember the day it all happened..why did it have to be me..why not someone else.." a man muttered to himself.

He had hair so white you would have thought he was an albino but if you took a closer look, you would have realised that it was just that his hair had lost colour over the years but yet he looked he hadn't aged a day since his twenties.

He kept muttering the same question over and over again. Why him? Why not someone else? Why did he do this? He asked the same question to himself over and over again in a variety of ways, but they all had they same idea. Why did he end up like this?

If you took a look at his surroundings, you would see that the buildings were destroyed and everything was on fire. One skyscraper was destroyed in such a way that it looked like it had been split in half. There was wailing and voices screaming vulgarites at the man, but he seemed to pay them no mind. It wasn't because he didn't care but rather he got used to it. Despite there being so many curses thrown at him, not a single person can be seen. It was as if this world was his personal hell, and he would be there for eternity.

The man was wearing nothing but rags, and you could see so many tattoos on his body, but if you looked closer, you would see curses cursing him in every language on earth.

He takes a deep breath as the smell of rotting flesh, gunpowder, metals, and toxic gases that permeated the air entered his nose as he thought about his past. His cloudy eyes, which had gone blind over the years, lit up as if he had an eureka moment.

"Now I remember.." the man mutters to himself once more thinking about a distant yet vivid past. He finds amusement over the fact that despite him forgetting many things and barely remembering things that happened only moments ago, he still remembers it all like it happened yesterday.

"it was truly a tale of madness..." as he thought about it all....
