Family Time

So right now I'm a vampire__ Half vampire. Does this mean that everything about me would change drastically. I hope the system was right when it said I would not need blood due to my human genes because I didn't want to become a blood sucker. And I just hope sunlight doesn't affect me. Cos that was like vampire's worst weakness__ oh and garlic too.

But come to think of it, I've seen Victoria in the sun a lot of times, does that mean the weakness shit wasn't real?.

And I also hope that this system doesn't give me a gory quest or mission to carry out. Because I'll be really fucked up.

And talking about the system, Victoria Sepet was the one who turned me , doesn't it mean she was the who gave me the system?. Stupid me trying to hide it from her.

Walking down the stairs, I prayed that the system didn't affect my family.

I walked downstairs to meet my mother serving food on the dining.

When she saw me, She stopped and opened her mouth in awe.

God no. Don't tell me she found out. Is there something about a vampire that is sticking out?.

She finally cleared all my doubts when she said,

" El, is it just me or do you look a little cute this morning? ".

What! Cuter... Was the vampire genes working?.

I smiled" It's nothing ma, this is how I always look ", I said taking my seat on the table.

Although there were stress marks under her eyes, my mom still looked extremely nice. She was a little short but still had a perfect shape. She adorned beady brown eyes and brown hair.

" If you say so", She shrugged and continued what she was doing.

" Well, he doesn't look cute to me, he looks like he has been playing video games all night long, can't you see how pale he looks ", My Dad said smiling. He was the exact opposite of mum. He was tall, had broad shoulders, black hair and sea blue eyes . I took my hair color from him but my eyes were from my mother.

He dropped his newspaper and leaned over to me, whispering in my ear,

" Young Man, what is this? are you trying to steal my wife" , We both laughed heartily.

" How is High school going? You know, my time in high school was boring ", He asked. He wasn't far from the truth. Life in School is fucked up.

" Don't worry,Pa, he's fine ,High school life isn't boring ", It was my elder sister, Maggie coming down the stairs. She had a nice figure that rivaled that of Victoria. Only her boobs were smaller. She had a round cute face with green eyes and brown hair. She had just finished college and was working in a private organization.

This was just a normal family routine.

Maggie joined us on the table as we had a short breakfast.

Dad was looking at the newspaper and something caught his attention.

" Three high School boys from Westbrom were found dead in an alleyway at B district ", he read out.

I almost choked on the tea I was sipping. B district. That was where those three dudes attacked me yesternight. Shit. The news was already on the papers. I hoped nothing implicated me in the case when the police start investigating. And that man that killed them. Why did he let me go?. Damn. I pray he doesn't come back for me.

" Those poor boys, I wonder how their parents would be feeling now ", Mum said. Poor boys my foot. If that man hadn't come along, I would have been the one on the paper. And thanks to my new vampiric genes now I healed fast.

' But how did Victoria fit into any of this ?', I wondered.

" Come to think of it, I didn't see Elisse walk through the door last night ", My sister said looking at me intently.

Fuck you Maggie, I rolled my eyes.

" Yea that's true, where were you last night, El ?", Mum asked.

" No where, mom ", I lied.

" Did you go to a late night party again, You know what I told you ", Dad said looking at me sternly.

" I didn't go to any late night party, dad ", I answered.

I walked towards the train station to catch a train.

Maggie was supposed to take me in her car but that wasn't possible anymore due to that little tiffle back home.

I had left the house earlier than usual and the next train wasn't arriving till the next thirty minutes.
