133 Chapter 27: Enemies

"Uwaa, this guy is really big." Amane muttered in amazement as she stared at three hundred meters tall Godzilla sleeping in the bottom of the sea.

"I really want to destroy it," she gave a contemplating look as she crossed her arms, "but that guy would probably smack me to kingdom come."

She was also at the bottom of the sea, covered by a black barrier surrounding herself, unaffected by the lack of light and oxygen.

Even the pressure of being several thousands of feet under the sea doesn't seem to affect her even for a little.

"This fella is literally brimming with energy," she moved around the sleeping Godzilla and observed it, "this thing has a core, does the energy came from this? Wow, it seems endless."

She went at the chest of the sleeping titan and touched it, "If I destroy it, then this fella would die too. Though this scales are too thick, I doubt I could break it and destroy the core without exhausting my strength. This fella should also have some sort of regeneration ability, so probably only a Sephira can destroy it, damn, what a crazy bastard."

She grinned, not only that, she was sure if she really did destroy the core, it will cause a massive explosion that would probably wipe Japan and several nearby countries out of the face of the Earth.

"Wait, this place is—" her eyes widened as she looked down, her gaze reaching the floor of the sea, where a cave system releasing a blue light can be seen.

She then looked at the titan once again before looking back at the cave system, she did this a couple of times before her eyes widened in realization.

She looked at Godzilla with a smirked, "What a crazy bastard. Aunt Miki failed and went insane when she did this, now that guy is actually planning on doing the same."

Amane wasn't really born at that time, it was just a story told by her father to her. Many, many years ago, the Da'ath Sephira, Miki Shiba, became so thirsty for knowledge due to her aspect, and did what Alex was trying to do right now.

In the end, she failed and went insane, almost causing the world to be destroyed. It took every Primordial Gods of every Pantheon and all Sephira combined just to stop her rampage.

It was that fight that weakened the gods and turned them to their pathetic form they have now, though aside from those who participated in the war, no one knows about this.

They just assumed that because the mortals faith in them diminished that they grew weaker. But it was not the case. Each Pantheon has this "source" in which their power came from, and during Da'ath's rampage, the Primordial burned out most of the power of that "source" leaving only a small amount to let the Gods survive.

But not enough for them to restore their former strength and reached the level of Transcendental.

"If he wanted to do this, I'm afraid he will have to face the Sephira who will try to stop him," she lost her smile as her expression turned serious, "even aunt Miki, a Sephira of Knowledge, couldn't handle what she "saw" and went insane, and almost destroyed the world in the process."

She sighed, "It took the combined efforts of ten Sephira and every Primordial Gods in existence just to stop aunt Miki's rampage, how are we going to stop that guy, who is even stronger than aunt Miki, if he went insane? Not to mention aside from me, there are only two other Ascended left, we wouldn't be able to stop him at all."

She shot the cave one last look before leaving, "Alexander Gremory, I hope you know what you're doing."

-------------------------------------------

"Alex-chan~ may I ask you to gently~ rub sunscreen over my body~?" Asked Nonko, while lying down flat on her stomach in a blanket with an umbrella to shade her from the sun.

She was wearing a black bikini that barely even covers her privates. If this was a private Beach, Nonko would've preferred just getting naked.

They are currently just enjoying the beach, since they don't have any work today because it was already done yesterday.

When he heard Nonko's request, Alex looked at Emi who was wearing a white swimsuit which is a white tie-front top with red floral design, and a white skirted bottom with same design as her top, she was now in the sea, playing with Alice who wears a yellow one-piece skirted swimsuit, before turning back to Nonko.

"Why ask me? Besides, do you even need it in the first place? You won't even get burned even if you swim on a lava, much less this little rays."

Nonko looked towards him as she pouted, putting a finger on her lips and giving her a teary eyes, "Alex-chan, won't you rub it on me?"

"Urgh," Alex groaned, that was hot, seriously, this woman is really a walking personification of the word erotic, "fine, fine, give me your sunscreen."

"Thanks~" she handed her bottle of sunscreen to him, "do it gently okay~ its actually my first time~"

"Huh?" Alex blinks, "by first time, you mean—"

"Yep, its my first time letting a boy rub a sunscreen on me~" she grinned, before giving him a seductive look, "though, its really my first time, want me to prove it to you~?"

'And get killed by Emi? Hell no.' He rolled his eyes and smirked, "Don't give me words you cannot keep, you aren't the type to have a sexual relationship."

Nonko just smiled, "I guess."

She may not look like it, but Nonko is really a sucker for romance. The cliché things such as the hero saving the princess and the like.

She really, really wanted to experience that. But every relationship she had failed and didn't even last a week.

It was why she decided to be a mangaka and vent her frustrations on her works, because she herself never experienced those.

"I'm gonna start."

She snapped out of her thoughts when Alex's voice came. She nodded and gave her a smile, "Okay~"

As Alex began rubbing her back with sunscreen, she suddenly smirked and opened her mouth, "Aah~!"

Alex's eye twitched but he ignored her and continue rubbing the sunscreen.

"Nnn~!"

"Ah~!"

"Aaahhn~!?"

Finally, he couldn't help but exclaimed, "Would you please stop with that moaning!? Its getting pretty distracting!"

"Moo~" she pouted, giving Alex an annoyed look, "you're no fun~! You aren't reacting like most people! This isn't the script! You should go all embarrassed and shy and stuff~!"

"Is that how you want me to react?" He rolled his eyes. Though the fact that he was using Spirit Magic on himself to calm his mind will be secret he'll keep for the rest of his life.

Seriously, who could resist this woman?

"What are you two doing?"

The two looked up to see Harribel wearing white halter top and white thing-stringed bottom, she also wears a black bead bracelets, white flip-flops, and a black sunglasses resting just above her forehead.

"Hey Tier~" Nonko smiled and waved her hands.

"Tier," Alex smiled, "I'm putting a sunscreen on her, and you know, Nonko being Nonko began to moan."

Harribel just raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything and just sat down. Her Fraccion are currently playing in the sea with Sagiri, they seem to be holding a water gun(?)

She really doubt that it's just a water gun. The water fired from it are capable of piercing through a solid boulder—Harribel was sure that it was given by her irresponsible king.

"Where's Hanzo and Hisui—oh, never mind, there they are." Alex couldn't help but shake his head in amusement wheb he saw Hanzo and Hisui lying down on a blanket playing on their phone.

Lucifer was only wearing a purple trimmed black trunks while Hisui was wearing something similar to a school swimsuit.

Alex suddenly frowned and stood up. He looked at the lighthouse for a moment before looking back at Harribel and Nonko.

"I need to do something first, I'll be leaving for now." With that, he run off, without even waiting for their reply.

He furrowed his brows, he knew that he just felt a familiar energy coming from the lighthouse, it seems to be inviting him.

'Jude?'

{The energy signature is a 100% match to that of landlady's master}

'I knew it.' With a furrowed brows, he accelerated. 'Did she discover what I wanted to do...? No, I mean I wasn't really hiding it, but still...'

After a minute of running, he arrived at the bottom of the lighthouse, where he saw the landlady just standing at the side, watching the sea.

Amane was crouching beside her, when he arrived, she quickly sent him a grin and a peace sign.

Alex took a deep breath, "So? Any reason why you called me here?"

The landlady turned around to face him, her expression is completely serious, "I want you to stop what you are planning to do. It is incredibly dangerous."

Alex stared at her for a moment before sighing as he began to walk back, "If that's all you wanted to say then you better leave, its useless to persuade me."

"If you don't want to compromise, we, the Sephiras, will be your enemies." She said with a firm voice that actually startled Amane.

She haven't heard her aunt talking with such tone.

Alex paused, looking over his shoulder to see the landlady slightly glaring at him.

He grinned and faced her, "Please don't use the word "enemy" to describe us landlady. Saying that we're enemies implies that you are a threat to me, and not to offend you but, you're not quite there yet."

"Really arrogant," the landlady sighed tiredly, but she couldn't refute what he said. She caught a glimpse of his battle with Aizen and remembering that form and conceptual attack just made her shiver in fear, "even though we can't beat you, we can still formulate a plan to stop you, I'm not the Sephira of knowledge for nothing."

Alex sighed, "I think you still don't get it landlady. Strategies and plans are only useful if you have the means to defeat your opponent. So let me ask you this, do you?"

The landlady stared at him for a few moments before sighing, "Whatever, there's no convincing you at all. We can't stop you, so I just hope you don't make the same mistakes I did and end up completely destroying this world."

Leaving those words behind, the landlady vanished.

Alex smirked,

"Don't't worry, I won't."
