18 Chapter 13: Night Walk

AN: Before we begin, I just have things to say. I read some comments saying that they wanted to add DxD, I don't if I can do that DxD is world is pretty complicated. If I did add that I will also have to add other Mythologies, ans the world will be even more complicated.

Hataraku and Yuuna world is already complicated enough, adding DxD will be a bit much for an author like me who only wrote two books.

But if you really insist, I will only add the AngelxDevil side of DxD, that I can manage.

Now regarding the MC of Yuragi, I actually wanted him to arrive in the inn because he was pretty important for the plot of Yuragi, and not just because he was the MC.

But then I thought "To hell with the plot!" who in their right mind would write a fanfic and not change anything?! I wrote this Fanfic and added Hataraku to not follow the plot, so why should I?!

So I won't be adding the Yuragi MC.

Now for the romance—I know some of you might be unsatisfied and might leave so sorry—I decided to do Harem.

The reason, because I can't choose between Sagiri and Emilia! The Harem will only be Four, I can't write more than that, it will be hard without making them "doll" and boring characters whose entire life is dedicated to the MC.

Emilia will be the main, sorry for those who don't like Harem.

Later that night, everyone from the Yuragi Inn aside from Ashiya and Nonko was having a peaceful dinner made by Chitose and Yuuna.

"Right, Alex-san, where is Ashiya-san? Nonko-san isn't here either." Yuuna asked as she floated behind him.

"You need to eat your vegetables Alice." Alex said as he tried to feed Alice with vegetables, only for her to turn her head away.

"No!"

Sighing, Alex answered the question, "I send him to do some errands. Don't worry, he'll be back later, or if he got delayed then tomorrow morning. As for Nonko, well I think she's busy doing her manga."

Yuuna sighed in relief, "I see, that's good."

"Chitose-san, Yaya wants seconds." Yaya handed her bowl to Chitose for her to refill.

Chitose smiled, "Yaya sure eat a lot huh? Be careful, you might get fat if you only eat and sleep all day."

Yaya gave her a smug look, "No worries. Yaya is a growing girl, and always go for a walk with Cat God!"

Sagiri secretly agreed with her. She also eat a lot, but she can burn those extra fats with training.

"Come on Alice, if you don't eat your vegetables you won't grow as big and healthy as Sagiri-neechan and Yuuna-neechan you know." Alice said with an almost begging voice.

"Not good!" Alice covered her mouth with a disgusted face.

"Alice if you don't eat, I won't let you eat any sweets again."

"No sweets?" Alice asked, looking at her papa with teary eyes.

But Alex did not give in and just gave her a stern look. After awhile, Alice gave up and nodded.

"Okay.."

With a smile, Alex feed her. At first Alice hesitated but she eventually opened her mouth and ate it.

Suddenly, their peaceful meal was interrupted by a phone's ringtone. Everyone immediately looked at the source—Sagiri, who was startled by the sudden sound of her phone.

"Excuse me for a bit." Sagiri bowed her head lightly before she stood up and walked outside before answering her phone.

Alex narrowed his eyes, he can feel a Spiritual Energy from the call and knew it wasn't a normal one. Besides, in the Manga, Sagiri was a loner whose only friend was her partner in missions.

So its really impossible for her to receive any normal call.

After awhile, they heard Sagiri screamed, "WHAT?!"

Then, she once again entered the dining room and bowed her head, "I'm sorry everyone, I need to leave. There's an emergency, a High-Class Hallow has been spotted and we were sent to eliminate it."

'High class?' Alex frowned, 'If I remember correctly, they are the highest level of Hollow that can pass through the "gap", and each of them has a spirit power of around 10 thousand.'

In this world, there is a device that can measure the Spirit Power of any being. A regular Chuuma Ninja has a spirit power of around a hundred, and Sagiri is around 2 thousand.

And a "Transcendental" has a spirit power of around a million and above.

While Nonko who drank a thousand bottles of alcohol should be around a hundred millions.

So even if Sagiri were to face that Hollow, she will lose. But Alex shook his head, 'No, there's hardly any difference in their power unlike the Transcendentals. Hollows can only use brute force and are driven by instincts unless they evolve, so she has a chance to beat that hollow.'

However, he was curious about the hollows in this world and if there are any difference between the one here and the one from the Anime.

After saying her farewell, Sagiri quickly left the Inn.

Alex followed her with his Magic Sense, 'Aren't the Gotei 13 the one responsible for eliminating Hollows? How come the Chuuma Ninjas are involved?'

Alex expands the range of his Magic Sense, and he saw Ashiya eating on MGronalds, but that's not what he was looking for.

'There.' Alex focused on a park where he guessed Sagiri was heading, he can sense a powerful and corrupted presence.

Well, powerful for others but not for him.

'That's not just some High Class Hollow.' Alex frowned, 'Isn't that hollow about to evolve? How come this one went passed the radars of Gotei 13?'

Alex decided to follow Sagiri just in case. He wanted to study the hollow, and maybe he could find a way to bring them back to being an ordinary spirit using Spirit Magic.

He was also curious on how an ordinary spirit can turn into a hollow just by staying in the Living World for too long.

After he finished eating, he entrusted Alice into Chitose's care.

"Chitose-san, can you take care of Alice for me while I go out?"

Chitose smiled and nodded, as she held Alice's hand.

Alice looked at her father with a sad expression as she held her free hand forward, "Papa, don't go."

Kissing her forehead, Alex said, "Don't worry Alice, Papa will be back before you know it."

"Really?"

"Yup, so don't be sad and be a good girl before I return okay?"

"O-Okay."

Alex caressed his daughter hair before he gave a nod as she just smiled at him.

Walking outside the inn as he gaze at the night sky. 'Its not as good as the one in my room.'

It was a bit cold, especially since he was only wearing a black tank top and a gray jogger pants and a black slippers.

If he was in his Demon Form or using magic, he wouldn't even feel a thing even if he were to run naked in North Pole.

But he was in his human form currently, and he wasn't using any magic to warm his body.

Using Magic Sense, he "saw" Sagiri and another Chuuma ninja just a hundred meters away from the park where he saw the Hollow.

'Just two of them?' Alex was flabbergasted. There's no way that the Chuuma Ninjas will only send two Ninjas to eliminate a High class hollow.

He expanded his senses, and indeed, he can feel a dozen more Chuuma Ninjas heading towards the Park. But he estimated that they will take at least half an hour with their speed.

Levitating a few feet above ground, Alex glanced at the direction of the park. 'I don't have a device that can accurately measure spiritual powers, but I can still guess that this hollow should be around 15 thousand.'

'This Human Body can only take around 10% of Maou's Original Power, if I use more than that I will need to turn into my Demon Form. But for a hollow this weak, 10% is more than enough.'

Without wasting any more time, he flew up in the sky, and in under just a couple of seconds, he arrived above the park where the Hollow was.

He watched as Sagiri and her partner arrived at the park and are setting up a barrier to not let the fight affect the "real" world.

Alex also wondered why Sagiri's partner—Urakata Urara, is going with her to fight the hollow.

If he remembered it currently, she should only be a Supporter. But Alex did not give it much thought, because Urara was a bit stronger than ordinary Chuuma Ninjas.

Using a magic to conceal his presence, he landed on a lamppost not too far away from the hollow.

The hollow was big, looking like a centipede, three meters in height, and tens of meters long. It was dull red in color, with white bones acting like an armor with a white skull-like mask with a hole on its chest.

"Sagiri, are you sure we can take that?" Urara asked with a nervous grin.

"Its not a matter of whether we can or not, we have to do it." Sagiri replied as she stared at the Hollow which suddenly moved and flew around the two ninjas, circling around them.

Doing a series of handseals, a puff of smoke was released and covered Sagiri.

When the smoke dispersed, it revealed Sagiri on a black full body tights that shows off her curves.

Alex was pretty surprised about that.

Urara stared at Sagiri in surprised, "Spirit Armor? You completed it?"

Sagiri smiled and took out two kunais, "Yeah, I only recently completed this."

"Nice!"

Alex grinned, as far as he knew Sagiri only completed this technique around the time before Yuuna was "kidnapped".

'Heh, everything changed. Well, at least now, Sagiri is currently stronger than her counterpart in the beginning of Yuragi-sou. She still got a long way to go before she can reach the Transcendental level though.'

Alex decided to first enjoy for a bit. After all, he wanted to witness with his own eyes how different the Spirit Powers and Magic are.
