41 Chapter 11: "No electricity"

AN: Yeah, a strong rain hit our place yesterday, electricity is out and I don't know how long my power bank will last. Sigh, I hope the power out won't last long. I haven't re-read this chapter so there might be alot of mistakes than usual.

"So what did you do to Olba anyway?" Alex, who was now in his human form, asked as he stood at the crater he made when he smacked his general down.

Emi, who is also in her human form, stood above the crater, looking down at the unconscious Lucifer before giving Alex a cold look, "I gave no mercy to my foes."

Alex paused, wondering what did this girl do to that old man with no limbs except for his limp groin(lol) but he dared not to ask.

"But you did make sure that he won't be able to cause us trouble again?"

"Of course. Who do you think I am? I hate traitors as much as I hate demons."

"E-Excuse me." Rika, who stood behind Emi raised her hand, gaining the attention of the Hero and the Demon King, "Um, so like, mind telling me what's going on? Just who are you guys?"

Emi and Alex shared a look and Alex gave a shrug. The intention was clear, Emi should be the one to tell Rika since she is Emi's friend.

Emi also agreed with it, its her responsibility as a friend. She turned to look at Rika, who also stared back at her.

"Rika, what I'm going to tell you—" she did not get to finish her words as the space shook, and a portal similar to a "gate" appeared on the sky.

"Emi!"

"Emilia!"

Emi turned towards the new arrival and smiled, "Hisui! Albert!"

The green haired loli landed in front of Emi and began to check her condition. "Are you alright? Are you hurt or anything?"

"We felt you using your Celestial Force before it immediately vanished." Albert explained, "We knew that you are strong, but we still feared for the worst and we immediately rushed towards here."

"Hisui-chan and Albert-san too?" Rika whispered, the three of them knew each other through Emi, and they can be called friends as well, especially Hisui.

Then, at that moment, a crack appeared on the sky as the Hero Party immediately went to fighting stance, but Alex just waved his hands and they reluctantly lowered their guard a bit.

Out came from the crack, is a young man with ash-blonde hair, wearing a clothes oddly similar to Alex, just with different colors. He also possessed a tail.

He is the manager of the Sinfully Delicious Café; Ashiya, or also known in Ente Isla as the Demon General of the East; Alsiel.

Ashiya landed on the ground and turned back to his human form. "My liege! I came to assist you in your battle!"

He then saw a familiar looking young man with purple hair lying down on a crater, unconscious. Then, he saw Emi, Hisui, and Albert and immediately "understood" the situation.

He returned to his demon form, and pointed his finger at the hero, "You! As expected, you cannot be trusted Hero Emilia! My liege, I apologize, even if she is the mother of the princess, I must teach her a lesso—Guh?!"

Alex appeared beside him and smack the back of his head. Though he was sure that it wouldn't hurt Alsiel a little bit, his defense is after all the toughest amongst the Demons including the orginal Satan himself.

A smack like that isn't that different from a friendly poke.

"Stop it, you idiot." Alex said, "That brat Lucifer and that old goat Olba attacked Emi earlier, so I taught them a lesson."

"What?!" Ashiya turned towards the unconscious Lucifer and scoffed, "Even though the Hero Emilia is our enemy, she is still the mother of the Princess, attacking her without any reasons is a crime punishable by death!"

Alex patted his shoulder to calm him down, "Calm down you idiot. It was Olba who attacked and Emilia already delivered a punishment for him. I don't know what she did, but I think he's wishing to die now if he wasn't dead yet."

"Hey! Can any of you please give me some attention! And explain everything!" Rika, who has been ignored suddenly shouted to gain their attention.

Ashiya turned and look at him, now in his human form. "A Human? And an ordinary one at that. What is she doing here?"

"She's Rika, Emi's friend. Somehow, she got involved in all of this." Alex explained.

Emi turned towards her friend, she forgot that she still needs to explain everything to her. She fake-coughed and look at her friend with a serious look.

"Rika, before I start anything, I will give you two options." Emi gave a peace sign, "First is, we will erase your memories about what happened here. You won't know anything, and we will continue our normal days like nothing happened."

Rika frowned and thought for a bit before she shook her head and gave a wry smile, "As expected, I can't pick that. I'm your friend Emi, I want to know as much as I can about you."

Emi smiled, "Well, if you really want to know then...."

She looked at the others, who just gave a shrug as she nodded and began to explain everything to her friend.

"So you see, we are....."

.....A few minutes later....

Rika just stood still, still processing about what she had just heard just now.

Her friend was a Hero, the Champion of Humanity, and the boy she thought was the boyfriend of her friend turned out to be her enemy, the Bane of Humanity, Satan.

"....wow. Are you sure I'm not dreaming?"

"As expected, you don't believe me?!"

Rika smiled awkwardly, "No, No, I believe you. Its hard not to when I saw all of that, Its just that...its a lot to take in. I'm just an ordinary human before this you know, someone who doesn't believe in supernatural and the like."

Emi nodded in understanding before giving her friend a worried look, "You know...the first offer still stands. I can erase your me—"

"Please do not underestimate me Emi," said Rika, "I may be just an ordinary human, but I'm still your friend you know. Angel or whatever, for me, you're still Emi Yuusa, my friend."

Emi bit her lips before giving her a grateful smile. Really, she doesn't want to mess with the memories of her friend, and she's glad that Rika accepted everything she said.

"Thank you."

Rika smiled and gave her a hug, "No need for a thanks, that's what are friends for."

However, their moment was interrupted by Alex with a cough. Everyone turned towards him as Alex just grinned, "I think you got one thing wrong though..."

Emi's eyes widened, she completely forgot about that.

"...Emi is no longer a Hero, but is now a member of my army and my Demon General." Alex smirked when he saw the others expression.

Albert turned towards his friend in shock, "The heck Emi?! I know you love the Demon King but to even join his army?! What's wrong?!"

Hisui just gave a lazy stare, "Hmm~, is thi~s the love is blind quote tha~t the people on Earth called~?" (AN: for those who are rather annoyed by her way of speaking, Hisui or Emerada has a habit of trailing her words)

"M-My liege! You even tamed the Hero and made her agree to be your general! As expected of you Sire!" Ashiya stared at Alex with admiration.

"Its not like that!" Emi exclaimed, "He just proclaimed me as his general without my permission! I did not agree to any of it!"

"Emi, I know its not the time but I think I heard this blonde foreigner looking ikemen saying something about being you being the mother of a princess? What's that?" Rika smirked.

Emi blushed and glared Rika, "Please stop! Its not like that!" she then turned towards Alex, asking him to fix the misunderstanding.

But Alex just smirked before turning towards the place where a black demonic longsword was stabbed on the ground.

"Ashiya, can you pick up that sword for me?"

Ashiya nodded and used his telekinesis to pull the sword towards him, he frowned he sensed a trace of familiarity while looking at the sword but did not give it much thought and gave it to Alex.

"This sword—" Alex's eyes widened for a bit.

"It was forged from the remains of Malacoda." Emi spoke, as she walked towards them, with Rika grinning cheekily beside her. "Well, that's what Olba said anyway."

"Malacoda?" Now Ashiya understands why the sword gave off a strange feeling of familiarity.

"I see." Alex nodded, and he got to admit that the sword can be considered as an Artifact. With Creation Magic he scanned the entire blade and nodded, it was very well made.

Using the bones of the strongest Undead Necromancer in the Demon World to make a sword is really—

"How good are you with swords Ashiya?" He asked his general.

Ashiya frowned, "Well I did learned the way of the sword, so even though I might not be a master, I can still call myself an expert."

"Then you can have this." Alex handed the sword to Ashiya.

"Thank you milord!"

Alex then turned towards Lucifer and kicked him, "Oi you stinking brat, I know you're awake."

Lucifer rolled over a few meters from the kick but he quickly stood up and stared at Alex in fear, "M-Milord..."

Alex glared at him, "Shut up, I'll give you some good smack down later, for now follow us."

He then turned towards Emi, "You too, follow us. Alice has been worried about you. You have no right to protest or say no, you will follow us back even if I have to drag you with me."

"Who do you think you are ordering me like that?!" Emi fumed, "B-But since I also plan to visit Alice, so I will go with you. Got that?! Its not because you ordered me or anything! But because I want too, understood?!"

Alex shrugged, "We also need to talk about what to do, the Church already began to move, its possible that the Angels are next."

Emi narrowed her eyes before looking worriedly at Rika, "Rika, won't you stay with us? You already knew about us and our enemies might use you like that priest and Lucifer over there."

"R-Really?"

Alex sighed, "Let's talk about that stuff later. For now we should go back."

The others looked at each other and nodded.

"Good, let's break this space and return."
