The Devil Meets an Angel (Chapter 2)

The devil and Angela spent the next few days together, exploring the city and having fun. They went to museums, parks, malls, and restaurants. They laughed, talked, and shared stories. They held hands, hugged, and kissed.

Angela was happy. She felt a connection with Dante that she had never felt with anyone before. He was smart, funny, kind, and handsome. He made her feel special and loved. She thanked God for bringing him into her life.

The devil was happy too. He felt a warmth in his heart that he had never felt before. He enjoyed Angela's company and appreciated her goodness. He made her smile and laugh. He wanted to make her happy.

But he also felt conflicted. He knew he was lying to her. He knew he was deceiving her. He knew he was betraying his nature and his duty. He knew he was playing with fire.

He wondered what he should do. Should he tell her the truth? Should he keep lying to her? Should he leave her alone? Should he take her with him?

He didn't know what to do. He only knew one thing.
