The Tournament
A/N: Edit to the previous chapter was changed so that most of them were in the 4th layer instead of the 6th layer.
Jin Zhi noticed the murderous intent from Jin Bao and simply smiled more before walking off the stage. As he left elder Lin gestures to the people who previously brought the stone to take it away. Once the stone had been taken off elder Lin then continued and spoke, "Now there will be a sparring match, the fights will be as follows; Jin Chen vs Jin Dishi. Jin Lei vs Jin Zhang. Jin Guang vs Jin Jie. Jin Wang vs Jin Hao. Finally Jin Zhi vs Jin Bao." The elder read as he took names out of a jar.
"I will make sure to cripple you at minimum Jin Zhi!" Jin Bao swore to himself after hearing the lots.
"Jin Bao you will die." Jin Zhi also resolved himself after hearing the fight matchup.
The first fight Jin Chen vs Jin Dishi was an overwhelming victory by Jin Dishi who was in the 6th layer compared to Jin Chen in the 5th layer. Then it was Jin Lei vs Jin Zhang which was a much more heated battle with them exchanging 50 blows before JIn Zhang finally won because Jin Lei had overexerted his Qi. Then Jin Guang vs Jin Jie was a battle that lasted 30 moved with Jin Jie eventually winning. Next was Jin Wang vs Jin Hao which lead to Jin Hao having an enormous victory for the same reason as Jin Chen vs Jin Dishi.
Now was the fight many were looking forward to, Jin Zhi vs Jin Bao. As they got on the stage you could feel the intense pressure coming off them both however, their faces couldn't be anymore different with Jin Zhi having a calm and collected expression and Jin Bao having a large grin with fierce eyes.
Jin Bao then took the incitive to taught Jin Zhi saying "Let's see how you escape now trash. I will make you suffer." To which Jin Bao then drew his sword.
Jin Zhi simply did not respond but did not draw his sword, this made many confused as they stared at him. Then Jin Zhi opened his mouth, "A dog is not worthy of my blade."
The crowd roared furiously calling Jin Zhi "Arrogant" or "Trash who does not know his place." However, Jin Zhi just ignored them making them even angrier.
Elder Lin then stepped forward and announced the fight "Killing is forbidden but you can otherwise do anything to your opponent, you cannot forfeit and can only be defeated by the opponent being off the ring. The fight begins in 3, 2, 1, fight!"
The moment the elder finished Jin Bao lunged forward with his sword at a rapid speed but narrowly misses Jin Zhi who dodges to the side but before he could turn around his vision turned upside down before a loud "Bang!" and "Crack" were heard by the crowd.
Suddenly all their eyes widened as they realized that Jin Zhi's Qi had once again increased a layer, he was now in the 8th Qi layer. "I told you that I did not need my sword for a dog."
Was the statement the crowd heard and they became dead quiet. Then Jin Zhi leaned closer to Jin Bao's ear and whisper in a cold and mechanical tone," Today you will wish that I would have killed you."
This made Jin Bao shiver unconsciously as his eyes began to widen in horror as he felt his arm snap. "P-please don't" Jin Bao begged to see Jin Zhi's leg on top of his own beginning to crush it.
This made some in the crowd sick as Jin Zhi slowly began to torture Jin Bao cracking one bone after another. Then a roar was heard with an oppressive aura as an elder shouted "Jin Zhi stop now! It is clear that you won is there a need to go this far?!" This elder was Jin Bao's grandfather, Jin Hui, and his face was distorted with anger and his eyebrows almost upright.
This statement got many in the crowd to agree and start shouting at Jin Zhi before Jin Zhi then retaliated with "Is it against the rules?"
This question made the elder fall silent along with the crowd as they looked at the fall but then the patriarch spoke, "Jin Zhi stop he is your family member!"
"Family member! Ha~ he is the one who made Jin Cheng try to kill me and has humiliated me in the past if I do not do this my cultivation will be hindered I hope the patriarch can understand." Jin Zhi countered as he then turned back to Jin Bao.
"I believe it was not against the rules to cripple someone right?" Jin Zhi asked as a slight smile grew on his face.
"No, but that is-" was all elder Lin could get out before being interrupted.
"JIN ZHI IF YOU DARE TO CRIPPLE JIN BAO THEN I WILL KILL YOU!" Elder Hui roared releasing his martial spirit.
The patriarch then stood up and said, "STOP THIS ELDER HUI! Jin Zhi if you stop now I promise to give Jin Bao an appropriate punishment for what he has done."
"Hehe~" Was Jin Zhi's response as Qi gathered in his fingertips as and he did extremely fast hand movements all over Jin Bao's body.
Suddenly, Jin Bao let out a loud, deafening scream "ARRGHHH!"
"Out of respect for the patriarch, I will stop here." Jin Zhi said as he stood up and made his way off the ring.
"Too bad he will die tonight!" Jin Zhi thought as a devilish smile grew on his face.
Elder Hui rushed to the stage repeatedly stammered, crying, "Bao'er! Bao'er!"
"Jin Zhi goes back to your room and you will excorted to Yun Hai sect tomorrow." The patriarch called to Jin Zhi.
Then as Jin Zhi walked through the crowd they all made way as they realized he was not trash but a devil.....
A/N: Hope you enjoyed will write another one tomorrow or when I want but was on a flow from the last chapter and that is why this chapter is out so hope you enjoyed it.
