His gloved hands were situated in his pockets as he stared down at her. "Will you do it or not?" He was serious. His eyes held no mockery or sarcasm. Adele had already made her decision. But she knew she would surely regret it in the end. "Yes... I will do it." She muttered. Her shoulders fell as those words left her mouth. There was nothing she could brag about again. "I didn't hear you. Maybe you should tone up a bit." She shut her eyes in irritation, still with her white knuckles. "I said I will do it." She swallowed to urge to haul any abusive word at him. Seeing the devil

His voice always sent shivers down her spine.

Yes! She was dreaming about him again. The devil that always came to her at night. She didn't know his name or how he came about. He just started appearing in her dreams six years ago.

This time, he wasn't alone. A lady was on her knees on the verge of tears, begging for mercy. His intimidating gaze was on the poor girl who looked as though she wanted to die. The lady wished the ground would open up and swallow her. Her face was rid of every blood and pale white. She was at the mercy of the overpowered man who towered before her.

"Please, I beg you. It won't happen again." She cried.

Adele stood there, horror-stricken. She couldn't move. Instead, her knees wobbled and threatened to bring her down at the feet of the man.

"Who are you?" She whispered. It was then the man's gaze fell on her. She let out a gasp as his red orbs bore into hers. It was then her body got a hold of itself and pulled her out of her nightmare.

Sitting up abruptly, Adele held her shirt tightly as she grappled for air. Beads of sweat rolled down her body and it didn't help that her alarm had rung twice but didn't wake her up.

"That man..." She sobbed. "Why won't he let me be?" She wiped her tears and reached for her phone. There were only two persona she could speak to about her problems and they were her best friends, Lance and Gina. She headed straight for their group chat as she laid back on the bed.

"Hey, guys. Guess what?" She typed and after a minute of no response, she dropped her phone and laid back on her bed.

A harsh knock came to the door, dragging her out of her thoughts. She groaned and sat up.

"Open up, you fugly (fucking ugly) bitch!" Her stepbrother yelled from outside while still knocking like an angry ape.

"My mornings can never be peaceful in this house."

Her step brother was an a**hole who always tries to penetrate anything in a lady, be it the arse or the main vaginal opening. He was such a cock.

She tried not to make a sound so that he wouldn't think she was in because most of the time, she slept at Gina's place.

"I know you're in there, you dirty brat. Come out here and make yourself useful!!" He yelled but she only sighed.

If only her mother knew the kind of stepson she had. The type that always wanted to hit on his step-sister. How did he end up so mentally deranged? It wasn't as though she had been trying to seduce him or anything of that sort.

Adele thought he would walk away like he always does but this time, the banging got harder. She became frightened and picked up her phone. Her stepbrother, Bryan, managed to break the door and barge in. He was finally happy he would get some pûssy after an unsuccessful hunt for one the previous night.

Adele screamed and ran to the window. She quickly opened it and jumped out before Bryan could get to her.

"Get back here!"

Adele ran without looking back. She was still in her nighties and passers-by stared at her weirdly. Little did they know the hell hole she had just escaped from. She was able to reach Gina's place and after a series of offensive knocking, Gina opened. She was about to yell the life out of the intruder but held her mouth when she saw it was Adele. She immediately let her in and shut the door.

"This early?" Gina yawned and sat beside Adele who was already deep in her thoughts.

"I told you to leave that house and come stay with me."

"I think I might have to take you up on that offer. Dude literally broke my door!" She exclaimed.

"I'm leaving that house today."

"Yes! I can finally have a roommate." Gina said, leaping for joy.

"First of all, let's go out and celebrate your rebellion against your family for the first time in your life."

"Second time, Gina. I had to go against them to get a job, remember?"

"Oh yeah. We leave in three hours. I better look for something to wear." She gasped and ran to her room.

Adele just laughed and shook her head. Her friend was the drama queen among the three of them. Lance was always the quiet, but protective one, while Gina was the fashionista, drama queen, and selfie queen, while she was just in between the two of them.

Adele sat on the couch wondering how rundown her life was. She lived with a mother that didn't care much about her, a stepfather that does nothing but drink from morning till night, and a stepbrother who was always horny.

It was Lance and Gina that brought her out of her misery or else, she would have died a long time ago.

"Are you just going to sit there? Or are you going to find what to wear?" Gina tossed a gown to Adele. It fell on her face, yanking her out of her thoughts.

"You're going to get old quickly if you continue thinking like that."

"Is the party necessary? We can just have a sleepover and invite Lance." Adele argued.

"It is more than necessary, my love. Now, check out the gown. I need to know if it fits you or not." Reluctantly, Adele put on the black light gown as Gina helped her zip up.

They heard a whistle and turned to its origin. They saw Lance standing at the door.

"Permit to say you look smoking hot. You're not actually going out in this, are you?" Lance pointed at the dress as he reached for a seat.

"Adele deserves to be looked upon. She is going to break some hearts today." Gina screamed while Adele just rolled her eyes while pulling off the gown.

"Thanks, G. I could use some change of atmosphere." Adele smiled.

"Sure you want to do this? I'm not going with you guys though. I have some work I have to attend to before my clients chop off my neck." He made a killing gesture with his thumb.

"Yeah, I'm sure. I really need this. I've had a rough evening and I need to clear my head."

Lance looked away. He was worried about his friend. Even though he was always the quiet one, he knew she was always the distant one. He saved her from hurting herself back in tenth grade. He knew how emotionally unstable she could be.

"Okay, if you say so." He mused a shrug. He was trying to hide the fact that he liked her a lot, more than a normal best friend should. He didn't want to ruin their friendship with his silly fantasies.

"I'll see you later. Take care of yourself, Adele." He stood up and embraced her warmly before leaving. Adele wondered why he acted that way. He always maintained eye contact with her but this time, he didn't.

An hour came by quickly and the girls were already at the club. Left for Adele alone, she wouldn't even step her feet outside.

The foggy smoke was the first sight that greeted them, seconded by the bright neon lights that set the ambiance of the house.

The air was heavy with the smell of smoke and sweat. It set the perfect atmosphere for horny people and for those who watched the strippers make out with their favorite poles. The dance was so sensual that anyone of the opposite sex would get horny.

"Let's dance," Gina tried to coarse Adele but she resisted.

"Suit yourself. I'm gonna go out to that dance floor and have some fun." Gina yelled over the loud music. Once she left, Adele sat quietly, sipping from her wine glass.

From the sides of her eyes, she noticed a man getting on a seat beside her and ordering some drinks.

She shared an eye contact with the barman but that only lasted for some seconds.

"Hello, pretty lady."

"Hello and bye." She chugged down her drink and walked away from him. She couldn't stay there anymore. She knew how dangerous it was to speak to men at the bar. She decided to stay somewhere quiet till Gina was done partying.

She was going down the staircase that led to the garage when she heard voices. It was that of a lady and she was begging.

"Please, Mr. Hale, I will do anything you ask me to. Just let me be your girlfriend."

What??!! She was begging to be his girlfriend? Who on earth is this man that a grown lady would be begging to date?

Adele was hiding behind a wall, not too far from the scene but when she peeped a little, she could see only the face of the girl while the man was backing her.

"Serena Hazelwood?!" She gasped but covered her mouth quickly and hid back.

Serena Hazelwood was the last daughter of the richest family in the city. She was a famous model and movie actress. Someone who thousands of men were falling at her feet, and there she was, begging a man.

Who was he anyway? She questioned herself.

"I will do anything, Mr. Hale. I will have sex with you a hundred times a day. I will make you cum all those times, I will suck your rod as much as you want me to. Just don't leave me."

Adele almost puked at the raw words Serena used. Has she no shame?

"We're done, Serena Hazelwood." His deep baritone voice echoed through the garage. Sweat began to form on Adele's face. He sounded just like the man that always came to her, the devil in her dreams.
