Bran
Tianxian hands the tab and Lu Cheng watches everything.
He whispers "Why doesn't he come?".
Tianxian wonders "He?" Knight?.
Tianxian says "No Chief! This time he sent his team..they had only four...but only our B wing is damaged..other wings are safe".
Lu Cheng pauses the video and looks at the man sat in the car which lead the others and throws the tab into Tianxian's hand.
He thinks "Who is he? If its Knight, why did he take Mu Hao? If its the masked man who saved Tang Xi before, then Qin Xuan is dead!? By any chance....Tang Xi too is related..?".
He asks "How about the tracker in Mu Hao's body?".
Tianxian says "It was dead after it left our base".
Lu Cheng goes into the base and Tianxian follows him closely.
He lits a cigarette and orders "Bring Bran". Tianxian enters the room after a minute with an American man.
Bran seemed so carefree and his hair were dishevelled. He sits without any restrictions like Tianxian and says "I tracked the vehicles, but I lost by a false trail".
Lu Cheng frowns "What do you mean by false trail?".
Bran shrugs "Simple! They too have a hacker..quite talented".
Lu Cheng frowns "He hacked our base?".
Bran shakes his head "No! He hacked while leaving..seems he wanted to know his power. He just took Mu Hao with him-".
Lu Cheng throws his cigarette and asks "Anything from her side?".
Tianxian was curious when Lu Cheng mentioned 'her'.
Bran glances at Tianxian meaningfully and Lu Cheng simply says "Wait outside!".
Tianxian goes out nodding. Who is this 'her' now?
Bran says "Everything is normal from her side. She just dumped a scumbag recently!" and chuckles "She is really ruthless! I don't believe that innocent looking girl can be this fearless...She even exposed her board member as an artist's sugar daddy! Is she really just 23?!".
Lu Cheng was noticing intently and his mind flashes with her innocent smiles.....her angry faces... Which were simply contrast to each other.
Bran continues suppressing his curiosity "She announced his bankruptcy and gets a few messages from two guys..Ning Yuhan her company's acting CEO and Alex". Lu Cheng was almost satisfied with his information just now but for some reason he is not now.
Lu Cheng stopped his thoughts and narrows his eyebrows "Alex?". Now who the hell is this Alex? I almost stripped her because of Ning Yuhan!
Bran shrugs casually "Her colleague! In Imperial School.. He would text her schedule regularly...".
Lu Cheng asks frowning "Imperial School? What is it do with her?".
Bran blinks surprised "Are you kidding me?". He is taken aback by his blank face.
Lu Cheng's face turned cold.
Bran asks "Don't you know she is working as a teacher there? Economics? Alex is her colleague?" and looks at him in disbelief "Are you guys really living together?!".
Lu Cheng gets curious "Show him". He didn't understand why is she working as a Teacher, being an heir!
Bran smirks and hacks the folder of staff details of Imperial School. He turns his laptop "Its him!".
Lu Cheng glances him indifferently and declares "Footage".
Bran rolls his eyes "They are just colleagues Cheng..".
Lu Cheng raises his eyebrow "Do what I said".
Bran sighs and plays in his keyboard and turns "There you go!".
Lu Cheng focused on the screen forgetting Bran's surprised gazes.
His eyebrows furrowed and asks "Why is he hugging her? Didn't you say he was just her colleague?".
