He Is More Dangerous

It had been such a long time ever since someone made him feel this speechless. Huang An stared at the back of the petty human whom he thought was weak in surprise. Then he chuckled as he said, "Human, you're too weak. You won't survive there for a second."

"Then I guess I'll die." Chen Ming shrugged as he said, "As I said, I'm not afraid."

Just as he said those words, Gao Wen let out a sigh and vanished from his place and appeared right in front of the human as he stopped him, still looking relaxed as he said, "Human, if you want to go, you're free. But, there are many things those beings can do to you, worse than dying."

Then he stepped aside and even made a welcoming gesture with his hands. "Off you go. Have a nice journey."

"He is not going anywhere!" Werewolf was angry at this point seeing his own mate ignoring him this way. Sure, he didn't want a mate at this point of life either. He had just wanted to snatch the human from the devil lord's palace just to mock the man and nothing else. He had also planned that after he was done playing with this human, he would first break the bond and kill him.

But, he hadn't expected this human to be so bold as to reject him outright! Hah, how dare he?!

He should be the one to reject the man, not the other way around!

He had never seen another human who was as crazy as this one. Was he seeking death again and again defying his words this way?!

The more Huang An thought about it, the more angrier he got. In the end, he chuckled because he was extremely angry and said, "Say, do I look like a fool to you to let my mate go to that place freely? Not in your dreams! You're coming to my place right this instant!"

"Oh please," Chen Ming couldn't resist rolling his eyes at the man as he stood there, crossing his arms on his chest. "I'd believe more if you say you're going to kill me rather than wanting me as a mate. I'm not some kind of extraordinary and handsome man. I look ordinary, and you are an alpha, the leader of your own pack.

"Of course, you would want your wife, queen, or whatever to be equally beautiful, a female I might add, and powerful as you. From your expressions, I can clearly see the traces of disappointment showing you didn't want me as your mate in the first place. So why are you standing here lying to me? Get the fuck out. I don't want you or anyone else."

He turned around and pointed his finger at the devil lord and said, "You are coming with me."

"Why?" Gao Wen raised his eyebrows at this change of event. He hadn't thought this daring human would do something like this all of a sudden.

Wanting him to follow him to the edge of the abyss? Was this guy crazy or something, inviting a devil lord to the territory even he doesn't have full control of?

Didn't the human fear he would leave the man in the middle and run away seeing danger himself?

Gao Wen scoffed, but he nodded. He also wanted to see what this guy was planning to do. And plus, the color expression of the werewolf alpha was so satisfying to his heart that he would like to play around with this human a bit more.

This human was surely interesting.

Huang An felt the corners of his lips twitching as he looked at the stinking human with a hint of anger in his eyes.

Since things were already laid out, why should he continue to pretend? Wasn't it better to get rid of this petty human whom he couldn't even use to threaten the devil lord himself?

Now that he realized this person was useless, he should get rid of the man once and for all. But of course, he couldn't kill the human right this instant. After all, a mating bond was quite powerful, and if one of the mates died prior to mating, it would deeply impact the wolf, rendering them weak for the rest of their lives.

Huang An was a practical man, and he didn't believe in having a weak man standing beside him shoulder to shoulder. He would rather not have any mate in his entire life to begin with.

Thus, he also said, "Alright. You have gained my attention. So I'll fulfill your wish and help you reach there. But once the mate bond is destroyed, I'll no longer protect you anymore." More likely, I'll be the one to grab your neck.

Of course, he said nothing and added, "We are leaving in an hour."

After speaking those words, he jumped out of the window on the right, breaking the glass, leaving shreds flying across the place.

Chen Ming frowned as he watched the devil lord shrugged and said, "I'll go off. You can prepare or whatever."

"Host!" The system came out and looked at his host with awe and reverence. "You knew what the alpha was thinking?! You can read minds?! You're so awesome!"

"Psst. I'm an ordinary human who can only identify people with terrible hearts." Chen Ming walked toward the dining room, hoping at least that place was untouched by the wolves because he was damn hungry. It was even past his time to have dinner. "Just one look and I can tell these two guys aren't any good, especially that devil lord. He looks relaxed and playful, but I bet he is the most dangerous man out there.

"I mean," When he finally reached the dining table, he sat there on a chair and served himself food as he continued, "Just look at how cruelly he killed that messenger. Once you are that guy's enemy you will end up worse than dead. That I'm sure."

"So, what are you going to do?" The system looked at his host worriedly. These missions were getting more and more dangerous. "Host, I'll prepare a risky, yet only ejecting button if you want. I'll probably be demoted, but…."

He didn't want his host to take risks now. In just the matter of a few hours, he had come to like his host.

Chen Ming chuckled as he said, "No need." He bit into the food. "I have long wanted to vent my years and years of frustrations of living a boring life. These two people don't look good. So why not target them?"

Chick suddenly felt like his host was probably more dangerous than those two male leads.
