13-'allay of the demon'

The next morning, Achilles went out with Alexander while the others gathered in the library for Rosella and Heracles to read to them what they had discovered.

Heracles explained in brief:

Castor interrupted:

Shock was evident on the features of Castor and Hector and Heracles continued:

Castor sat with shock on his face:

"So the reality is that Zeus knows about the box, and despite that, he did not save his grandson. But wait, Zeus knows about the demons coming out, and he did not return them to the box!"

Rosella said:

"He can't bring them back. I know only a few of Zeus' family can control demons, but I don't think Zeus is one of them."

Hector smiled sarcastically while sweating with worry:

Rosella nodded in denial:

“Even if you return the necklace to Alexander, demons roam the earth, not only Alexander’s body, Alexander also promised Damianos to return the Dorados to us, so he will never accept the necklace and will not allow me to leave.”

Hector laughed sarcastically and ran his fingers through his long gray hair:

"He won't allow? Are we going to remain under his command even after his transformation? Instead of saving him?"

Heracles intervened:

Castor straightened up and said sharply:

“There is no solution but to present the necklace to Alexander and see if Alexander is able to return the demons inside the box or not. If he is not able...”

Castor looked at Rosella and continued:

Castor walked towards Rosella and Heracles grabbed his wrist and said:

“What are you planning? Are you crazy? I’m in charge after Alexander’s transformation, I won’t let you touch that human!”

Rosella trembled and took a step back, so Hector ran towards her and grabbed the necklace. Rosella rose up, raised her hand in front of his face, and said:

"Hector"

Hector quickly pulled the necklace before Rosella used her strength to remove the necklace from her neck and Rosella said:

"Get away-"

She did not finish her speech because the place suddenly became dark.

There was no longer any sunlight, candlelight, or lamps. It was completely dark, and everyone looked around in astonishment.

Hector stared at the pendant that began to light up and Rosella realized that this light was increasing due to Alexander getting closer to them.

She knows that the necklace lights up when danger approaches her. She thought it lit up beforehand because Hector is the danger, but this time...that time, Rosella knows that the real danger is Alexander.

Rosella shouted to Hector:

"He's on his way! Give me the necklace!"

But Hector quickly flew up and raised his hand with the necklace, saying:

“Are you looking for it? You hateful, blood-stained demon!”

He tries to lure Alexander into giving him the necklace.

Heracles shouted:

"Hector! Drop now!"

They all looked at the sound of footsteps, the sound of Alexander entering the room with his red eyes. He was walking calmly, not looking angry, not looking at anything.

But contrary to what was expected, he did not go towards Hector, but rather walked towards Rosella, and Rosella tried to remain steadfast and pretend to be strong until the devil settled in front of her.

Alexander raised his hand and touched her left cheekbone, saying:

“Ahh, you are my ally now Rosella, I will make you queen in the land of apples!”

Rosella felt a tingling sensation in her cheek and she groaned lightly, then felt where he put his hand to feel the burning.

Rosella looked into his red eyes and said:

“Alexander, you asked me to kill you if you became dangerous, and you begged me to save you, today I am begging you...don’t make me kill you.”

Alexander's smile grew and he moved closer to her:

"Dangerous? All this to restore your glory, my bride."

Rosella felt her neck where the necklace was not, and Alexander nodded and looked at Hector, who was flying high and holding the bright green light necklace in his hand.

But Hector remained silent this time. He did not try to provoke Alexander. He only had expressions of hatred and cold anger on his face.

Heracles told rosella:

"Run away"

But no sooner had he said this than Alexander said:

"Don't run! If any of you move, I'll kill them myself!"

Castor laughed mockingly at Hector's incident:

“The power is in your hand, end this now!”

Alexander flew with extraordinary speed and approached Hector, then he grabbed the necklace with sudden speed that surprised Hector himself and destroyed it!

Alexander smashed the necklace with his hand and its fragments fell to the ground.

He...broke the necklace!

Alexander laughed while everyone was in shock at his command. Then Alexander looked at Rosella and said sarcastically:

“What do you think? Huh? What a failed plan, my dear Rosella! Look at you...do you think that being a demon now makes me stupid? Who would have thought that I was the one who planted the flower?”

Did he know about their plan?

In fact, that necklace is not the real one. It is the identical necklace that was with Hector and he asked Rosella to switch between it and the real one beforehand.

They did that plan because of Heracles.

But what good was this plan to Heracles?

Rosella looked at Heracles to see him surprised and then panicked.

Everyone looked at Heracles in question, and Heracles continued:

"Alexander would not have destroyed the necklace. Alexander would not have known that the necklace was a fake one. The only ones who can tell the difference between the real thing and the fake are the Iapiatus family, the Hector and Castor family."

Rosella said:

"So who is this?"

She looked at Alexander in shock and fear. Who could this person be in front of her but Alexander?

Alexander lowered his gaze and said to Rosella:

"Come closer"

Rosella did not control her body, but her body obeyed the commands of this demon and walked towards him without her will. Is this what it means to be his ally? An ally of Satan?

She approached until she settled in front of him, then he smiled at her:

"I'm Alexander, so don't kill me, okay?"

Rosella nodded then Alexander gave everyone a quick look and then left the room leaving them in shock.

Hector ran to Rosella and said:

"Do-"

He was silent, then pretended to be cold and asked:

"Do you believe him?"

Rosella nodded in denial:

"I don't know"

Castor said:

"It is certain now that this is not Alexander."

Rosella felt very weak and unwell and Hector noticed this so he took the real necklace out of hiding and give it for Rosella.

Heracles spoke:

"He left the palace."

Everyone looked at Heracles who was staring out the window as Alexander was flying away at top speed.

He left.

Rosella asked Heracles:

"Why did you make that plan? What made you think it wasn't Alexander in the first place?"

Heracles answered hesitantly:

"Several demons have come out of Pandora's box. I not only wanted to know the strength of his demon, but I also wanted to know if there was anyone else among us who was weak for a demon to take over his body."

Hector asked:

"Did you doubt us?"

Heracles nodded:

"But it turns out the opposite. There is no weak person except Alexander now. He is weak to the point that he lost his body and soul."

Rosella felt very sad about the condition of Alexander, this young man who was weak both in his previous life and in this one, the young man who was always exposed to hatred and violence for actions beyond his control, the person who was so pure that he committed suicide to protect others from him, to the extent that made him ask her to killed him to provide her with the revenge she sought from his family, even if he was not the one who killed her family and exiled her.

She knows she promised him, but she's sorry, she won't keep that promise, she won't kill an innocent person because he's weak, not after he lost his previous life for the same reason, this time will offer him a better life and a better opportunity.
