[Completed 11/13/20] Paimon has always been his brother's shadow. Never noticed, never given credit for anything, always dismissed. Well, that is till he ventured off to Earth, which is strictly prohibited by Satan himself. While on Earth, Paimon meets Ivy Lendel. Ivy had delt with a lot of hardships throughout her short 22 years on Earth. Losses of family and friends. Having to fight a disease herself. Paimon helps lift this endless weight of struggles and vows to show her the beauty of life. The biggest one being herself. Little do they both know Ivy contains the key to safety and allegiance in the underworld. Maybe even Hell.

"Ivy, eyes open." I tapped on the metal bars.
Ivy groaned but her green eyes were once again, open for the world to see.
"Keep them open, Sis." I called over the gargling of a chimera.
Bastards were actually helpful when they weren't guzzling down rats.
"I'm starving." Ivy whined.
We've been stuck here for 10 hours and counting. Humans are supposed to eat every 3-4 hours. I doubt she ate when we were at the mansion as God didn't exactly keep food around and his cooks have been off.
"I know, Im sorry." I sighed.
I had planned to kill a guard or at least distract one long enough to get the keys but none have been seen. I didn't even sense any.
I looked back at Ivy and saw her eyes closed once again. 10 hours of stress plus hunger would wipe you out.
I wonder what its like being mortal. I've always been the god of strength and destruction.
"Ivy, Please, try to stay awake." I called through the bars but her eyes remained closed.
"Ivy." I asked and extended a hand through the bars, shaking her gently. No response. She can't die from starvation, its too soon for that. But dehydration?
Exhaustion?
Both possibilities.
"GUARDS!" I shouted as loud as I could, in hopes of both waking Ivy and getting a guard to feed her.
"GUARDS!" I yelled a second time, after receiving no response.
"Guards!" A creature yelled from my right. I looked over to find a centaur. His hooves have been mutilated though and all that remained was bone and cartilage.
"Guards!" The chimera attempted.I smiled at his attempt.
"GUARDS!" A high pitched scream came from behind me and I turned to see a cyclops.
"Lerry?" I asked the familiar beast.
He had helped me sneak in and out of the castle countless times.
"Hey Kratos." He chuckled.
"What the fuck are you doing in here?" I turned around fully, keeping an eye on Ivy.
"I got caught helping a succubus escape. Fallen angel that was supposed to return to Heaven." Lerry shrugged like it was no big deal.
And it really wasn't.
The underworld and Hell had a lot of accidental fallens. Ones who should of been sent to Heaven but were't documented properly. Once a demon had them in their grasps they were doomed down here for eternity.
Very few escaped but Lerry was trying to help the cause.
"How about you, friend?" Lerry asked.
"See her?" I asked and nodded towards Ivy.
"Of course, Who is she?" Lerry stuck his nose in the air, trying to catch a scent.
"My sister," I shrugged.
"Which one?" Lerry chuckled.
I forgot my father is a bit of a man-whore.
"Persephone." I whispered.
Close-by creatures began to make noise and release cries of help.
"The Persephone? She's back?" Lerry's jaw dropped and he looked between Ivy and I.
"Not for long if we don't get her out of here. She's still mortal." I threw a worried glance in Ivy's direction, I hoped we would get her out of here.
"Mortal?"
"MORTAL!" Creatures began screeching once again.
Some began hanging against the metal cages, others hurting themselves while releasing blood curdling screams.
"What on Earth is going on in here?" A man dressed head-to-toe in grey and white armor asked as he stepped into the room filled with cages.
"MORTAL! MORTAL! MORTAL!" A harpy began fluttering around in its' cage.
"There aren't any mortals in here you geezers!" The guard screamed over the rising noise.
"Sir!" Lerry called and I shot him a sharp glare. He shook his head and leaned out of the cage.
What was he up to?
"What is it, Cyclops?" The guard pulled out his held onto the handle of his sword as he approached Lerry's cage.
"I need water. My eye is drying up." He blinked a few times and his eye began to fade into a blood red.
"And I care why?" The guard stepped away from the cage and glared at me through Lerry's bars.
I quickly turned away and faced Ivy.
"Well, Im part of the upcoming wedding. You wouldn't want to ruin the sire's big day, right?" Lerry sounded as nervous as I felt.
"Oh yeah, How are you apart of the wedding?" The guard scoffed and I tensed.
Please Have a plan,Lerry.
"Im the main course." Lerry chuckled.
"Main course?" The guard asked, confused.
"Some kingdoms have goat, some have children, some have cyclopes. Take a guess at which one we are." I turned around to see Lerry gripping onto the bars, glaring at the guard.
"Oh my. Should of said something sooner. Water or milk, One eye?" The guard took his keys out and inserted one into the cell.
"Milk!" Somebody yelled, startling the guard. His hand dropped from the keys in the cell door to the sword on his side.
"Fuck sakes. Ill be back," The guard shook his head and removed the keys.
"What was your fucking plan, Ler?" I asked as soon as the guard was out of sight.
"Exactly that." He chuckled and kicked the cell door open.
The guard had forgotten to lock the cage back.
