Another Mission

After that evening I returned to my apartment. I hate my house. When I was a child, I remember telling my mother about building a huge white house with a fountain. And look where I live now, definitely not a huge white house with a fountain, more like a small brown house with poverty.

I rested on my bed, naked. Closed my eyes and laid down. Oops forgot! I woke back up, took the cigarette packet from the table and smoked one of it. I know smoking kills but who cares.

I played 90s rock in full volume and screamed,

"Fuck you Nicole."

I looked at my Identity card hanging from the side of the mirror, I read out aloud,

I worked really hard to reach here. I gave all I had. But, just look at me...

I turned towards the mirror, disappointed in myself.

Her eyes looked tired and longing for sleep. She had few new pimples in her forehead probably from work stress. This is too much for me, she thought.

After turning off the music, I took my phone and dialed by senior's number.

"Sir, can I take a week leave?" I asked to Robin through phone.

"Why Tayen?"

"I.. really need some time out of this job."

"I understand. Join the team after a week and also mail me a leave request."

"Sure sir thank you."

I hung up the call. After cleansing my lips with whiskey from time to time, I opened Instagram.

The first story profile that appeared in front of me was that of Stephen's. With a smile I opened it. The story was of his cabin with a text popping from side, 'Not a workaholic'.

I swiped through and came across IBIZA, the party capital!!!!

It won't be a bad idea to buy some bikinis, smoke some weed, drink something that burns and check out few guys!

I swiped left, opened Nicole's chat and texted,
