Chapter 89: Breaking the Rules

"Hey long time no see." Rion slowly opened his eyes to see the familiar voice of a man. "I see you still have that collar on you." Clarence watched how the Omega's closed eyes slowly opened revealing his deep brown hazel eyes. He didn't know that their path will cross again this way. When he left 5 months ago the face in front of him haunted his dreams that he decided not to involved himself with the stranger Omega he just met by chance because of his friend Jules. He thought to himself that he had done more than enough in helping that Omega and by giving him that collar. Clarence still vividly remembers what happened that day when Rion had his heat.

FLASHBACK...

A sudden surge of lust came over Clarence the moment the strong alluring scent of an Omega in heat hits him. It was like every bit of flesh he has in his body is screaming of taking the Omega and owning his body. in his 30 years of existence Clarence never once felt such strong urge to own and dominate anyone, he always have this strong control over his senses making him earn the trust of many of his colleagues. He's not one of those hungry wolves who would eat and tear their prey at sight but the situation right before him is different. He couldn't resist the sweet smell coming from that beautiful man Rion. Clarence is already sweating in cold trying to win a battle within him but it seems he's at the loosing end when he found his feet moving and walking towards Rion's direction but things start coming back to him when Rion suddenly pulled out his dextrose and jump out of bed and Clarence fully gained control when Rion desperately tried to pulled his hand that is cuff from the bed side till it bleed. Clarence with his mind in clear state, grab something sharp to wound himself enough for him to hold out longer without loosing himself and harming the Omega but when Clarence walk towards Rion he saw how the man curled up like a defenseless child shivering, scared of him. It was like a moment ago when Rion is acting smart with him but now he is like an abandoned beaten puppy that is scared of any people who will go near him but what shocked Clarence is what comes next after that

"P-please don't hurt me....." Rion said in a snipping tone. "I'll do whatever it is that you want just please don't hurt me." Rion said once but Clarence couldn't respond who would when they are witnessing things as that for the first time but minutes later Rion tried to removed his pants just that slight peek of his smooth white flesh is already enough for Clarence little man to harden but Clarence knows better that it is not the right time or situation to please his eyes even though he wanted to see the beauty underneath those clothing he still to reach out his hand to stop him from lowering his pants even more.

"What are you even doing? You're bleeding." Clarence lifted him up and put him back to the bed. He even pulled up his pants before tacking him in. "Just wait here, I'll call the doctor." Clarence didn't say anything more than that. Clarence didn't touched him, he even lift him back to the bed and tuck him in and called the Doctor like nothing has ever happened. Minutes later a Doctor and nurses came in. He got a suppressant shot from one of the nurses but he knows even without it he's not in the mood to do it with him. He watched just how the doctor's cleaning and dressing up his wounds, he watched till they are finished and the Omega finally fallen asleep. When Rion is stable, Clarence without knowing what he's doing found himself knocking and entering the Doctor's office.

"Is there anything I can do for you Mr. McGuire?" Clarence felt like he was brought back to reality when the Doctor asked him.

"aaammhhh..." Clarence was speechless he didn't know what he was doing or why he's even in there in the first place. He tried to open his mouth to say something but no words came out.

"I think there's something you want to ask or know that's why you are here." The Doctor said trying to answer his own question.

"I'm Doctor Miller by the way, I'm one of Mr. Dunst Doctors." George said.

"Doctors?" Finally a word manage to escape his mouth.

"Yes as you noticed it was a different Doctor which attended to Mr. Dunst this morning right? Well I'm his surgeon." George said.

"Why is he acting that way?" Clarence asked.

"I'm afraid I can't disclose that details to you." George answered.

"I'm his husband." Clarence didn't know why he said that and why he's going as far as to lie just to get an answer to that question.

"I'm afraid that if Mr. Dunst is indeed your spouse then should his surname be McGuire as well? And besides there's no way that Clarence McGuire will let his spouse get a multiple stabs. You may change your style a little but I can still recognize our Diplomat very well, you won't be marrying someone like Rion so it means that you are bluffing just now."

Clarence wanted to beat the light out of that Doctor. "But I'll tell you one thing, consider it as a way of thanking you for what you've done to that Omega." Dr. Miller stand up to his seat and walk towards him and stopped at his side. The Doctor place his hand on his shoulder before telling him a hint to answer his question. "Omegas are often being sexually and physically assaulted and Rion is no different. I know you know that already but proud and powerful Alphas doesn't give a damn about them, instead of helping them they are averting their eyes and covering their ears. Even though he works in that kind of industry he still has rights and still deserve to be respected but that's not the reality. I hope that answer your question now if you'll excuse me I still need to do my rounds."

Clarence knew and yet he tried to deny to himself what he witnessed. He asked his self the reason why he volunteered. Yes he volunteered just to tease the Omega cause he took an interest in him, he's curious why does that Omega doesn't even show a hint of infatuation towards him and that makes him want to tease him and prove himself that he can get that Omega's attention for just a short period of time just like all the people around him where he doesn't have to exert an effort in swaying them off of their feet. That is his first and only intention of staying in that place but then why did it turn out like that. Clarence always have a certain and absolute rules when it comes to things as this and that is never take information about the person cause the more you don't know about that person the less you are getting yourself involve with them and the easier to severe the ties and connections. Clarence close his eyes took a few deep breaths before taking his phone out. "Hello I want you to find me a collar, for an Omega. I want something that won't be opened no matter what. Yes bring it to me as soon as possible."

Clarence end the call. "And here I am breaking the first rule but this will be the only rule I will be breaking." Clarence whispered.

END OF FLASHBACK...

Clarence scanned the contrasting color of the collar against Rion's skin and for some reason Clarence feels like his mouth and throat are both dry.

He saw the Omega hurriedly sit up and show that happiness in his eyes but what came out of Rion's mouth stole that little happiness that Clarence felt. "It's you the collar guy!" Rion said with so much excitement and happiness but Clarence is feeling the complete opposite of it.

"So now I'm just a collar guy now? I'm hurt you didn't even bother remembering my name." Clarence fake being hurt. "If I hadn't gave you that collar then you probably have forgotten about me already."

"I'm sorry I'm really bad with remembering Alpha's names, by the way why are you here?" Rion asked.

"Well I made a drink promise to my friend's wife to take care of someone so I'm here to fetch that someone. I see you already got out of prison."

"Yes, thank you." Rion whispered. Then he search somewhere in his pockets and when he found it he took Clarence hands and place it in his hands. "I don't have anything to pay you with what you've done that day. I don't have anything with me but I still want to repay your kindness even with this." Rion said the things he wanted to tell to that man who gave him his collar, the only bind that protects him from other Alphas.

Clarence Opened his hands and saw in his palm a bracelet beads made from woods of different colors. "It is not much, as a matter of fact it doesn't even have any value but I made it while I was inside as I think about you. It's a bracelet charm made out of woods. I don't have precious stones with me there so I just do it with whatever available material that is inside the prison." Clarence looked at the shy Rion and then back to the bracelet.

He didn't say anything for a while so Rion thought that the Alpha didn't like it which is very understandable. Comparing to his collar which he's sure to cost expensively the bracelet is just a trash. "Of course you can just throw it away, I won't mind at all." Rion said it with a smile. He already got used to the fact that people don't take people like him seriously. They always think that the things which they touch are also filthy and he no longer gets hurt by such trivial thing.

"Here let me just throw it for you." Rion was about to take back the bracelet but Clarence pulled out his hand closing it into a tight fist.

"Hey this is mine, you already gave it to me." Clarence said then he turned around and tried to put the bracelet on his own hand but he couldn't do it.

Rion noticed it so he offered him some help. "Here let me help you get this on you." Clarence watched Rion wrapped the bracelet around his hand 3 times before sealing and locking it. "There that's how you put it on."

Clarence watch the warm smile of Rion's face and he couldn't move not look away. "Collar..... Have you found the key to that collar?" Clarence asked out of nowhere.

"Aahh yes but I throw it away. You said that it only have one key and that the other way of opening it is throw your biometrics."

"Why did you throw that away? Don't you want to get married?" Clarence asked. Then he heard Rion laugh

"Who would want to marry a prostitute who has been fucked by countless of men. Besides I already gave up the thought of love. Love for me is like a beautiful dream, it only comes to life when you are asleep but in reality it doesn't exist. Thank you for this." Rion trace the collar on his neck. "Because of this it feels like one thorn has been pulled out of me. I don't have to worry of some alpha trying to mark me."

Clarence secretly smile after hearing Rion is not considering of marrying anyone.

"So you both meet!" Clarence look from where the voice came.

"Jules!" Clarence was welcomed by Jules hug.

"You already met Rion right? Well he's the person we are talking about. You will protect him for the mean time." Clarence hands felt cold for just a moment and when he finally gathered all his thoughts he dragged Jules from a very far place where they could both talk in private.

"Why is he involved in that case? What he's something to do with that?!" Clarence asked.

"He's the whistleblower, he will take a stand as the main witness for the case we are handling."

"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" Clarence keeps on pacing back and forth muttering the same word over and over again.

"If you can't handle it, we can always find someplace else to keep him safe." Jules said when he noticed the sudden change on Clarence behavior.

"No!" Clarence hold Jules to both of his shoulders. "No, I can take care of him. Arrrrgghhh! You're aware that it could put him to a big danger. He just got out so how did he got involved?! I need to know I have to know what I'm dealing with here!" Clarence demanded.

"He's one of them, he's a victim of their trafficking. He was sold and throw to the red light district as early as when he first got his heat. All his life he works as a sex commodity. Being sold from one brothel to another that way they can keep those Omegas on the leash, they wouldn't be able to track just how much debt they have." Jules tried to explain as simple as he can.

"Fuck! Does he know what he's dealing or doing?"

",He knew and he also wanted this."

"Fuck it's like you are using him as a bait hook in the fishing hook! How big?" Clarence asked.

"The biggest I ever encountered." Jules said.

"Fuck! This is suicide!"

"That's why we need your help, someone is after his head. We just need to hide him till we ready the floor and by that time we will take him back. By that time he will be protected and will be given security."

"Then the stabbings?" Clarence whispered like he didn't hear Jules. "How did he got stabbed?" Clarence asked again.

"They sent someone to assassinate him inside." Jules said. "We need your help but if you can't then we can just let Rion stay here. Dexter will welcome him to this house though Dexter is not as experienced as you when it comes to high degree of security but as you can see his home is not something they can take lightly to." If Clarence memory is right then that person that Jules is pertaining to is that Alpha who welcomed him.

"That good looking Alpha? But of course I'm more good looking than him." Clarence sneered.

"Hey don't say it like that, Dexter is kind."

"I bet he's only kind cause Rion is pretty and an Omega! Well flash news that collar can only be opened by me!"

"So you're that collar guy he keeps on talking about. So since when did you care about other person other than yourself, career and the country's future? Huh?"

"Fuck! Don't change the subject, Rion will stay with me that ends our conversation! Also is that Nigel guy still looking after Rion?"

Jules nodded in response with a hint of teasing. "He won't be staying at my place, find him some place where he could stay at!"

"Ok, ok T has things he wanted Nigel to work with so minus Rion I think he will be able to do it now without worry."

"By the way, I'm already married to Shun, Lee so I'm not interested to any Omegas or alphas." The two men looked at Dexter.

"Lee? You mean the youngest of the Shun's?"

"Bingo! So no need to worry about me stealing your Omega." Dexter said.

"He's not my Omega." Clarence immediately denied.

"Well if you say so, why don't you stay for lunch before you two go?" Dexter offered.

Clarence stayed till Lunch, he was very surprised to see the kind of culture they have inside that mansion, they are like a one big family eating together in one table. Clarence tried to remember when was the last time he had eaten with his father? He really couldn't remember anymore. They were in the middle of eating when someone came in running.

"Honey! Honey! Dexy Honey!" Shouted the man and Clarence literally dropped his knife and fork seeing the respected Shun, Lee is running and shouting Honey.

"Lee Honey what happened?" Dexter immidiately got up and to see and inspect if Lee was hurt in any other way. "Did something happened? Are you hurt somewhere?"

"No, no I'm not hurt. It's just that I have a proposal to you... Here." Clarence looked at the folder which Lee is carrying. He felt that the document must have been something really important it he leaves his job to run and come back home with the documents in his hand.

Clarence saw Dexter cross his arm on his chest and sit back again. "So what it is this time? Let me see it." Dexter start perusing to the details of the documents.

"Is it too much? 3 days and 2 nights?" Dexter asked.

"Honey you need to understand, this will be like first time since that bon fire incident. Please honey 🥺" Lee looked at him with a puppy eyes.

"2 days and 1 night." Dexter counter bargain. "And you won't be using Mom and Dad's vacation house in the south. Go stay from one of our vacation houses located in the north. Bring Harvey with you and two more body guards."

"Why the guards honey? We are all grown up men there!" Lee said.

"It's better to be safe, I'll lost it if something bad happens to you so just do as I say. I'm letting you do this cause it has been so long and because it's about Adrian. That man needs some serious talking, Nash is getting really worried about him. So when are you guys will be leaving?" Dexter asked.

"Two days from now if we will be able to sneak Adrian out, his family is keeping a close watch over him." Lee said.

"So who are the boys who will go with you all?" Dexter asked.

"As of now Lance, Derrek, Zeejay. Terrence and Jules is busy with something so they said they'll just attend through call." Lee said.

"So there will be five people all in all, hhhhhhmmmmm...." Dexter then looked at Nigel.

"Hey, you're still not busy with something right? Go with them in two days time. I'll ask Terrence."

"Hey why should I go with them?!" Nigel asked.

"You'll baby sit them, they are a handful adults who acts like a baby so you will baby sit them there. I'll talk to you later about the details but I'll ask permission from Terrence since you are directly reporting to him right?"

"So honey are you letting me and the boys??????"

"Yes just drink moderately ok?" Lee just nodded happily before hugging Dexter and place a kiss to his lips. "Come sit here and eat before to go back to work." Without warning Lee sit on Dexter's lap and Dexter just let him.

"What did just happened?" Clarence asked. "Weren't you two talking about business and proposals?"

"Ow that's asking for my husband's permission. He got so pissed the last time he made us kneel on the grain of salt." Lee happily announced like it was nothing. "Dexy I want that one feed it to me."

"He's acting like a child again." Nicolas sneered.

"Hey you're just envious cause my Dexy is feeding me while Zee is not even doing that to you!"

"Hey take that back! Zee feeds me too he's just so busy because of certain someone."

After lunch Clarence and Rion decided to go. It was a shocking scene, the table is far from quiet, prim and proper that follows the table etiquette of the rich people. It was noisy filled with a lot of emotions.

"They are so warm right?" Rion said while looking from the window of the car. "In that two days I spent there I feel like I was part of that big family. It's funny to even think that they have a big family when in fact it was just really Dexter, Lee and their baby but everyone there feels like the belong to one family."

"Hey once everything is settled I'm sure you'll find someone who can give you that kind of family." For some reason Clarence felt bitter saying that Rion will have a family of his own with someone else.

"Nope I'm already contented with just me, that's why no one will be able to open this now except for you but I trust you that you won't open this right?' Rion asked.

"Of course." The drive went silent after that, minutes later Clarence take a glance at Rion and saw the Omega sleeping silently.

Aiden came back from work he was really tired managing two companies, his father's business and the firm which is now in the critical stage now that they are about to handle a big case. He loosen his tie and remove his coat.

"Seb where is my husband? Did he came home already?" Aide asked Sebastian.

"He's in the kitchen, he said that he will surprise you by cooking you with something but I think that would end in disaster, young master doesn't have a talent for that." Aiden laughed at how Sebastian was able to say all that with his serious face.

"I think I better head to the kitchen now and save my husband right? Ow what about Lander where is my son?" Aiden asked.

"Young Master Lander is at Master Terrence house, he's with the kids. Master Lance gave him the permission as he said he wanted to have a romantic dinner with you." Aiden nodded, with the way Sebastian is revealing everything to him only means one thing and that is nothing is going according to Lance plan.

"Thank you Seb, I think I better go inside the kitchen and save the day." Aiden laugh while walking towards their kitchen and when he entered there it is the messy kitchen and hi husband who doesn't know what to cater first. Aiden smile to himself, then without noise he walk sneaking behind his husband and then wrapped his arms around his waist.

"Love!" Lance almost scream. "You almost gave me a heart attack." Lance said.

"So what are you cooking?" Aiden asked.

"It's a disaster." Lance said defeated.

"Hey let me help. but first carry me on your back." Aiden didn't wait and he himself climb to Lance's back and wrapped his legs around Lance waist and his arms around Lance shoulders. "Let me have a taste." It was really a weird position but Aiden is acting really cute and sweet so he doesn't mind.

"It's a little salty, put more water to it there." Lance laugh. "Hey why are you laughing at me?"

"Love you're like that mouse in that movie ratatouille the only difference is that you're not on my head but you are on my back."

"Ow now you are comparing me to a rat. Then I think I should get down now."

"No don't, please I like us this way." Lance said with a little hint of sadness. "I know you are a different person now and I love you for who you are but Aiden is a cold, serious and rational person. He always thinks before he makes his decision and for him everything should be perfect. I love it really but I still miss you doing things like this to me. I miss you being sweet to me. I miss you acting carefree towards me. That I sometimes envy Lee because Dexter always makes him feel love, they don't really care where or when. Don't get me wrong, I love you it's just that I sometimes wish that we could be as open as them."

Aiden felt guilty and sad, it's true that he forced himself to get that cold personality cause before he felt like that's they only way for him to be strong is to change his whole personality and even though he's trying some old habits die hard. "I'm sorry Lance, I'll try. Just give me more time, it's not that easy to change and break the rules I set up for myself in the past 5 years. They are like fortress that's keeping me safe and secure but know that I love you and I'm trying to break all those rules one by one just for you. I will make you the only exception Lance." Aiden place a kiss at Lance's nape.

"I know. I love you too but Love I think we should finish cooking this. Argh how did it even turned to this?! It was supposed to be a surprise." Lance complain.

"Well let's just think that this turned out better than your first plan cause you'll get to cook it with me on your back, cheering on you and giving you kisses." Aiden said.

"I guess that's a fair bargain then." Both of them laugh happily and on the distance Sebastian watch the couple.

"6 years and they finally found their way back to each other's arms." Sebastian whispered proudly.
