Chapter 123: Chances are - Part 1

Maica has to take off her nerdy look in order for her to pull the plan off. She believes in her friends that they won't let anything bad happen to her that's why she agreed to and the only reason why she's not afraid. After the news broke off about Jeffrey's death the whole house hold of Witchburn's fell into chaos of not having Andrian's family and theirs united through marriage although it gave Andrian's family a reason to break off the marriage without making it obvious to the public and the Witchburn they are glad that Jeffrey was finally pronounced dead. Adrian on the other hand still believes that Jeffrey is alive and thus still tries to find his friend like Axel while he looks after Nash who's now on his 5th month. How Maica knew all of these? Is through Axel and others who keep her updated on the happenings outside.

Maica breathe in and out a couple of times before entering Victor's office, she needs to act desperate.

When she entered Victor's office her eyes catcher Robbies gaze and like the movies in Robbie's eyes everything went slow. It's like he saw that woman he had seen in the party who he can't remember. Both have the same aura, same stature and same gaze though he can't remember her face it's like his heart is running wild just seeing Alice in different light. She's without glasses, without braces. She has her hair in pony and curled at the same time, her dress is body hugging that literally looks like is clinging desperately to her body and the color of burgundy red is breathtakingly compliments her skin reflection he even felt he got hard just looking at her.

"Sir, I know this might sound crazy but after Sir Jeffrey died. I don't know who to turn to." Maica desperately kneeled in front of Victor.

"I have a sick sister that needs an operation and and I need a great deal of money. Please I'll do anything, everything." Maica pleaded as she cries.

Robbie felt like a bucket of cold water was poured on to him. He wanted to pull Alice away from Victor, for years he served Jeffrey he witnessed how cruel Victor can get to whoever is desperate for his help.

"Got up." Victor said with a smirk on his face as he looked at her from head to toe. "I never knew that the nerd assistant of Jeff is a beauty in hiding behind those ridiculous glasses and clothes. Strip." Victor commented.

"Sir I don't….." Robbie tried to stopped the man but Victor just signaled him to stop talking.

Maica who is determined to help just thought that stripping in front of such man will help many omega who's unprivileged unlike her who was born and showered with love by her parents and friends. So Maica confidently removed her clothes.

"I have never seen a woman of low class such as you who has a fair smooth skin. You are even clean down there not a single hair. Is it natural? I bet it is because there's no way for you to afford treatments such as hair removal right? Because you're a peasant."

Robbie can see her nakedness in front of him and he wanted to cover the woman so badly he tried looking at her eyes to comfort the fear she might be feeling but he's surprised to not see even a single strand of fear to his eyes.

"Would you mind spreading your legs?" Victor asked.

"Sir I think it would be better to have the expert do the inspecting." Victor looked at Robbie for a minute before sighting.

"Yes you're right, such high quality should be handled by experts. If she passed I plan in handling her to the Prosecutor. She looks innocent and high class I bet they'll enjoy her. Get dress and follow him." Victor wave his hand.

"Thank you Sir, thank you so much Sir, I'll forever be indebted to you." Maica keeps on vowing as she one by one picked her clothes on the floor.

Robbie couldn't stand the sight of her nakedness that is being attentively watched by Victor so he removed his blazer and used it to cover Maica's nakedness. When they got out Robbie dragged Maica to a room where no one could see them. "What do you think you are doing? You're selling your soul to that monster!" Robbie yelled whispered.

Maica looked at him with sharp gaze. "What's it to you? I need money…"

"If it's money you need I have a lot of it, take back what you said to Victor and I'll shoulder all your sister's operation and even the post operation bills and stuff. I have more than enough money so please take it back, tell him you change your mind."

"No!" Maica said.

"Why won't you listen to me? Once you get in you won't be able to come out. Do you get what I'm saying? He will wring you dry till there's nothing left of you!"

"I'm the one who's in need here but why are you looking like someone who's desperate? I don't get it Robbie…. Why?"Maica asked.

Maica's question is like a cold water it made Robbie wide awake and start questioning himself with the same thing. "I don't know, all I know is I need to save you for what you're about to do to yourself."

Maica smiled at him and lightly pat his cheek like assuring a little child that everything is going to be alright. "You don't need to worry about me, I'm going to be alright. I don't need saving, I have already been saved now it's time for me to do the saving. So please let me save them, let me save my sister on my own. What I need right now is the support so please take me to that place Robbie. I know we are not close and I know we don't talk that much but please let me try my best to help."

In the end Robbie took Alice to that place for her to get examined. Alice looks peaceful and Robbie knows that peaceful face will break after she goes to that room with the prosecutor or so he thought because after picking Alice he saw a radiant smile on her face. "That was so satisfying." Maica said with wide smile on her face. As far as Robbie knows the prosecutor invited some of his friends again so he already readied his first aid kit and called the hospital if ever they will need to confine her but on the contrary she's more than fine.

"What did happen?" Robbie asked.

"Ow nothing, I just played with them and it seems they loved it so much!" Maica said in her high pitch voice. "Were you worried? Well enough about me, you should worry more about your lover or else she might get jealous." Maica said.

"I don't know, hey would you mind it I ask you this?" Robbie started. "What will you do if the woman you're courting with, I mean the woman you thought you're in love with is no longer the woman who has your attention?"

"Well is there someone new?" Maica asked. "Men won't lose interest unless there's someone new, my ex was like that if I had known I should have accepted my best friends confession then maybe I would have ended happily."

"Ow I'm sorry to hear that, so what happened?" It was now Robbie who's asking, he took the opportunity to know more about the mysterious woman.

"He's happily married now with one son and another child on the way. They are very much happy and I envy them so much but I guess that's just how it is. I'll be contented being the best auntie of all."

"Don't you want a family of your own?" Robbie asked.

"Nope I don't want, I don't want to get hurt again, I don't want to go through all that trouble again. It's exhausting you know, investing time and feelings only to get nothing out of it." Robbie looked at Alice through his rearview mirror. "Hey enough about me, so is there someone new?" Maica asked again.

"Yeah I think there is…."

"I knew it! This is why you can't trust men! Once the lose interest and got interested to a new one they immediately gives you a cold treatment, the communication gets lesser and lesser and most of the time they are irritated towards you and then you will find yourselves getting jnto more fights than before." Maica continuously said with her hands gesturing and throwing all over the place which Robbie finds cute.

"What if I'm serious this time?" Robbie asked calmly.

"Well that can happen, I know a lot of playboys who changed. They are loyal and happily married but that doesn't happen all the time so it is better to give up with such thoughts. As much as possible we need to be realistic well in my case that's it. I don't know about your case anyways each to their own, I don't have any rights to judge you."

"If you want I can buy you from Victor." Robbie said out of nowhere.

"What?" Maica asked.

"I'll buy you from him so you can start a new life, selling your body is not the answer to your problems."

Maica smiled at him. "Thank you Robbie, you're a good person. Make sure to tell the person you're courting about your real feelings break it clean with them before you start courting another person believe me that will easy the pain. I think I'm going to miss you."

Robbie just nodded, he doesn't know what Alice meant by her words.

When Maica got back to her own room she dialed a number. "So how are they?" She instantly asked.

(We are handling them really well.) Aiden said.

(You bitch! You think you can get away with this?! You little whore!) Maica heard the man cursed.

(If I were you I will shut up or you might want these videos we collected go viral in the internet?) Maica can clearly hear the coldness in Aiden's voice.

(You shouldn't have come here personally Ai, did your Doctor even gave you the clearance to go?) maica can hear Dexter's voice.

(You're at your 7th month. I agree with Dexter.) Maica can guess it was Nicolas.

"Talk about you Dext, shouldn't you be resting?" Maica asked.

(My Doctor already gave me the clearance so don't worry besides I'm still at my fifth month unlike Aiden and Chester these two shouldn't be here, they might give birth in no time.)

(Hey Axel, are you sure you're not pregnant?) He heard Drake's voice over the phone.

"Yeah I noticed it too, it may seem flat but you looked like you gained weight and a little pale at that too." Maica said, she noticed that Axel gained at little weight and that the little bumped on his stomach that is a little protruded than usual.

(No, it's just the side effect of the medicine I'm taking.) Axel quickly answered. (Let's focus in talking to these guys here.)

Jeffrey gave in to his feelings and for a month he continued living with Henry. The news about his death which Henry confessed that he orchestrated already reached him and he's glad that Henry made it seems like he died because that means he can start a new life in that little town in that remote island with Henry, it is a perfect place to be with Henry a perfect place for him to hide and live a free as possible and freely show everyone his affection towards Henry and because he already grows accustomed to the towns people they are now known as a married couple or as what the town people assumed and Jeffrey doesn't want to even correct it. He likes the feeling that everyone acknowledges them. A perfect place for him and Henry.

Jeffrey walk to the living room there he found Henry reading a book so he went there and lay his head to Henry's thigh and Henry while reading reached out to his head and gently caress his hair. "What does my Darling need?" Henry asked.

"Nothing, I just want to act like a baby and get spoiled." Jeffrey cutely said in a child's voice, he still can't believe that he will be able to do this. That he will be able to get clingy without the man that he loves getting angry at him.

"Am I not spoiling you enough?" Henry asked while suppressing a laugh.

"But I want more!" Jeffrey whined.

Henry closer his book and place a kiss on his forehead. "I love you Jeffrey." Henry looked at him with so much love to his eyes and Jeffrey couldn't help but get drawn into it and reached to kiss Henry to his lips.

"I love you so much Henry." Jeffrey took Henry's hand and hold it to his cheek. "Promise me you won't leave me."

"I will never going to leave you. I know it may seem fast but I never been this sure in my entire life. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I plan to do this perfectly but I just can't resist you so without ring, flowers and other things will you accept it?" Henry asked as he looked down at him who's still laying on the man's lap.

"Accept what? Henry I'm confused….." Jeffrey asked.

"Darling I'm asking you to spend the rest of my life with me." Henry said again.

A wide smile slowly creeped to Jeffrey's face as he sit up and throw a hug at Henry. "Yes, of course yes! Who am I to even say no." Jeffrey for the first time couldn't helped but form tears to his eyes that he didn't even noticed he's already crying. Years of having no tears Jeffrey finally cried. Although he felt bad if Henry will divorce Axel but he doesn't want to let Henry go, he wanted to be his family although he can't give him a child he still wanted to own Henry exclusively.

"You're crying, are those happy tears?" Henry wiped the tears from his eyes.

Jeffrey just nodded in response. "I'm so happy that I don't think I deserve this, after all the things I have done."

"You certainly deserve this, I will give you more than this. I will give you everything that I can give."

Jeffrey shake his head no, "No, I don't need anything more I just want you and you to love me. That's all, I won't ask for too much."

The two stayed in that position for almost an hour, they talked a lot of things and plans they have for the future and Jeffrey not in his wildest dream ever thought he can look forward to the future, a future that is his.

"Darling another thing, I have to return back to the city, I need to report to work and fix some things there, would it be ok if I go and leave you here for the mean time?"

"Do you really have to?" Jeffrey asked, for a moment there he got worried, worried that it Henry and Axel will see each other that Henry might realized that it was Axel who he really wanted and not him.

"I have to Darling it will be just for a week. I promise to return as soon as possible. There are some things I have to fix there" Jeffrey thought that maybe it's about the divorce and that Henry meeting Axel is inevitable since the two needs to settle their separation properly before him and Henry could get married and settle down so in the end Jeffrey agreed with the fear in his heart.

Henry kissed him to his forehead. "I'll be back soon, I promise."

Axel buttoned his polo after the ultrasound. "You still haven't told him yet?" George asked.

"No not yet." Axel said while busy fixing his shirt.

"I thought we can wait till the baby is in its 7 months but it's getting dangerous Axel. Your abdominal walls wouldn't be able to support a growing baby. We need to deliver the baby in its 6 months or it will get dangerous for the both of you." George explained trying to make sense to Axel.

"I can't, deliver it at 7th month. I can't risk it." Axel insisted.

"I can't do that, you need to tell your husband and don't eat too much. We need to make the baby small as much as possible." Axel remained silent for a while. "Damn it, if I knew this could happen I should have performed the surgery of connecting your fallopian tubes. I should have listened to my instincts."

"Jules won't think twice, he will want to termite the pregnancy." Axel simply said with sadness in his eyes.

"I can understand that, of course who's husband would want to risk his wife's life." George explained.

"But I might never get another chance if I'll let this go and this child, this child is the product of our love. I can't let it go. I'll survive I just need, I just need you to support me. Please you're the only one I can tell this too."

"Eat less, less but nutritious and call me whenever you feel discomfort and if you bleed." Axel hugged George. "Here sign this." George hand him some papers.

"What's this?" Axel asked.

"An authorization letter to give me power to make decisions on your pregnancy when things get complicated. Your husband doesn't know so at least you should have someone who knows the situation to make a decision, signed it I had it prepared just incase you don't have a plan telling your husband."

"Please if things go south and you have to choose then choose my baby." Axel almost begged.

"I can't guarantee you that, I'll choose who has the best chance to live and who I think should live more and in this case it is you. I know your husband will choose you as well or the best option will be to choose both of you so if you want to keep both of your life and your baby's then please fight and do as I say." Axel nodded.

"I think I really need to get out of that job, it's getting dangerous." Axel mumbled. "It's growing." Axel caress his tummy. "Mommy will protect you. I promise." Axel got inside his house only to find roses scattered on the floor and the living room dimmed with only candles to light it up. He roamed his eyes around to find the only person he thinks could do it and there at the corner he saw him holding a whole round cake with three candles with lights up.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you." Jules sings.

"B-but how?" Axel asked.

"I asked Author and he said this is the date of my wife's birthday. Make a wish." Axel closed his eyes and make a wish. A wish to stay both with his child and husband.

After their dinner Axel pulled Jules and throw him on their bed before talking off of his pants and underwear leaving only his polo. He unzip his husband's pants and pulled out from his underwear the little beast who gave him the little life he has right now inside his body.

"You got hard that fast?" Axel asked while giving him a playful look and smile.

"Well I'm just a man in front of a smoking hot and beautiful omega who's my wife. Who would not be hard when this hotness is being feisty and all turning me so ohhhh aaaahhhh hhhmmmm, Sweety aaahhhh." Jules couldn't finished his sentence when Axel put his husband's little buddy inside his mouth. He played with it using his tongue, wrapping it as he suck and move his mouth up and down in a fast motion. Axel can feel himself getting wet hearing Jules' loud moaning. It has been so long since he last tasted his own husband because often times the man is away with Clarence. It seems like Clarence is wrapping things up and planning on resigning from his position as the ambassador and plans in settling down in the country. Which of course favors Axel more because it means that Jules have no longer has to go to frequent out of the country trips which pisses him off. It didn't take long for Jules to hang on and immediately the man let go.

"That was quick." Axel said as he wiped his mouth.

"I miss you." The only thing Jules can say.

"And me too, but I'm not the only one who misses you sweety." Axel climbed on to of his husband and sink himself between his husband's legs.

"Aaaahhhhh." A moan escaped from his beautiful lips the moment Jules fills him in. He tried raising his hips slowly only to drop it down and then slowly raise it up. The pace started slow that builds up till Axel found himself lost in the ecstasy of pleasure as he leaned backward and opened his legs even more.

Jules couldn't stand the sight and grabbed his wife's hips and flipped him beneath him. He placed Axel's right leg over his right shoulder while let the other one on its position before pouncing on him.

"No more? Is that aaahhhh really what you want?" Jules asked. "Do you want me to stop?"

Axel woke up with the light kisses from his shoulders even though he is fully clothed. "Want to do it again?" Jules seductively whispered.

Axel is very tempted, who wouldn't be when he hadn't been with his husband for a long time but he's thinking about his baby so he refused. "Sorry sweety but no, I'm tired."

"Is that really as no?" Axel can feel Jules fingers slide inside him which made him moan. "You're wet and twitching."

Axel was about to say more but he pushed Jules hands. "No means no sweety, please." Axel said in a tired voice.

"I'm sorry, come hear." Jules wrapped him in his warm embrace.

"It's ok...Sweety." Axel suddenly said.

"Yes? Change your mind?" Jules asked as a joke but earned a slap to his broad chest.

"No, not that!"

Jules just chuckled at the cute response of his wife. "I'm sorry, so what is it?"

"Sweety, what if I got pregnant?" Axel asked.

"Then probably I'll feel like the luckiest…. Is my wife pregnant?" Jules looked at him at their dimmed room that is only illuminated by the moonlight.

"What if the pregnancy is dangerous and can put my life at risk what will you do?" The smile on Jules face vanished instantly and was replaced by fear.

"Are you pregnant?" Jules asked.

"No, I'm not! Of course how could that be, you saw the pregnancy tests we took almost 4 months ago they are all negative right?" Axel hysterically explained.

"Yeah you're right. Then why are you asking me that? Did something happened?" Jules asked.

"No, it's just that I saw an omega male who's about to give birth and they said the pregnancy was dangerous so they are asking the husband to choose between the child and mother…."

"I'll choose you, you can hate me anyway you want but I'll choose you. So please if the time comes we got pregnant and it's dangerous I'm begging you, please choose yourself. I wouldn't be able to live without you. I won't be confident raising our child knowing he's the reason why you're not with me. I thought before that father's blaming their children for their spouses death are worst than trash but now I do know. I can't lose you so please choose yourself." Axel nodded but he knows he'll be breaking that promise, there's no way that he will terminate the life inside him. *7 months I'll only have to endure for 7 months no, no I'll try with 6 months, I have to meet them halfway. Axel is trying hard not to cry. 6 months so you need to live, you need to fight living baby. I'll be Giving birth to you in one month time.* Axel thought as he hug his husband. He needs to take the risk, he needs to meet what his husband wants and what he wanted halfway. George said the earliest he will give birth the better chances of him surviving.
