Why should you care?

"Good question, why Ana? I don't know this either." answered the father to Daniel's question.

The father turned to look at the daughter again, then he said, "Ana do you know something?" asked the father to Ana.

"How do I know that? Even father don't know the reason himself." said Ana, shaking her head slowly.

The father was silent, he tapped his finger on the table, his face seemed to be thinking about something.

"Maybe because the crown prince and Ana are close in age." the father concluded.

"Oh...yes. Right, that must be the reason." said the mother confirming the words of the father.

Ana looked at her parents without intending to say anything. Well...let's just say that his parents' conclusions are correct so that unnecessary problems won't arise later.

Ana is a free spirit, it would be very troublesome if the prince or the royal family had certain intentions towards her, for whatever reason she didn't want to be part of the royal family.

The Orde's dinner and chat are over after the conclusion that Ana's parents have made.

Ana is sitting on her bed. She thought about what had happened to her today, starting from being bored and wanting to be free for a while to ending up getting lost in the middle of the forest and meeting a rude boy who was damn handsome.

"Come to think of it, I don't know his name." murmured Ana realizing that the two of them had not yet introduce theirself properly.

Ana stood up from her bed, then walked to the big window and opened the curtain that was closed there. The moonlight shone gently through the window pane and shone on the floor of Ana's room, which had a dim light from her night lamp.

Ana leaned her head and shoulders against the window pane, part of her face glow because the soft light of the moon.

"Will we ever be able to meet again?" Ana muttered to herself again.

Ana feels an inexplicable sense of longing, her chest tightness and discomfort, it seems the boy has a charm that Ana doesn't realize, she herself can't explain where this longing and tightness comes from.

Ana opened the window which was also the door to the balcony slowly, afraid of making unnecessary noise.

The night wind hit her, blowing her pink evening gown and beautiful silver hair.

"I hope we can meet again." said Ana looking at the moon in the night sky.

On the other hand, Peter was currently lying on the bed in his room. He heard the sound of footsteps and decided to pretend to be asleep.

"Father. You have to believe, that brat gives off a deadly aura. You should check it out." said a man who Peter recognized as the older brother he had argued with earlier.

"Shut up! I told you to wait and ask that kid where he is from, yet you're bothering me just for a pointless thing like this?" another man said in a cold tone, his voice deep and mature.

It turned out that his brother's actions were orders from his father. No wonder he felt a little strange with his brother's actions, he didn't usually care about Peter's actions, but today he waited for him and asked him. So here's the reason. Peter smirked, this old man was still spying on him.

"Heh..Are you so desperate to know what I did old man?" Peter spoke in his heart.

The voice in the hallway leading to Peter's room was heard again.

"But dad. I really feel it, Peter's dangerous aura!" said the brother did not want to give up.

"Mind your own business, you nosy!" Peter spoke again in his heart, he rolled his eyes in annoyance.

Again, the father's voice was heard down the hall to Peter's room.

"He's Beta, he's a disgrace to the family." said the father colder.

"How can he be a Beta?! He's definitely not a Beta, his aura definitely isn't that of a Beta!!" shouted his brother in a frustrated tone.

"Are you sure you're not dreaming? How could that kid have such a terrifying aura? That's impossible." said the man again in a tone as if he didn't care.

"Dream? No! I'm pretty sure it wasn't dream, dad." said the brother again continued to convince the father.

"Speak no more. I don't want to hear about this anymore." said the father in a cold tone.

"I thought you would say that old man." said Peter in his heart, his eyes turning icy cold and sharp as knives.

After a long debate, the two of them walked towards Peter's room, they discussed the matter at a distance that they were sure Peter would not hear, but it seemed they underestimated the ability of the unwanted child in the family.

"No matter how much you persuade him, that man won't be able to believe your words." said Peter in a small voice, his face showing clear contempt.

The door to Peter's room opened and two figures entered.

"Peter!" said the father coldly.

"..."

There was no response from the boy on the bed.

"Peter!!" again the father shouted, he raised his voice.

Peter was too lazy to deal with this old man, he chose to keep pretending to be asleep and didn't answer his father's calls.

"Peter Marama!! I knew you weren't asleep!!" said the father angrily.

Peter opened his eyes, those navy blue eyes flashed a cruel touch with a hint of boredom. He got up and sat on his bed, then his eyes turned to the man who was shouting at him.

The navy blue eyes stared at his father then Peter said, "So, what are you doing here, FATHER?"

Peter emphasized the word father at the end of his sentence.

"Insolent boy!!!" shouted the father even more angry.

Peter grinned, then said again, "What is that insolent? Can you explain?"

"Peter Marama!!" the father again shouted his full name in front of Peter.

"I'm Peter. I know my name is Peter Arnav. There's no need for you to scream over and over again." said Peter in a bored tone.

He didn't bother to mention the word Marama, because even he himself didn't want to be a part of this family.

The father did not realize what Peter meant. He's always been like that ever since. The man took a deep breath and exhaled, trying to contain his anger.

"Stop said that word! You are Marama not Arnav." said the father with the same disdain as his brother.

Somehow the whole family hated the word Arnav which became their middle name, all except Peter of course. For unknown reasons he liked the middle name so much that he wanted to remove the name Marama from his name and change his name to Peter Arnav.

"I'm Peter Arnav, the word Marama make me feel disgusted." said Peter with an expressionless face.

"Peter Marama! Watch your words!" shouted the father angrily.

Peter just rolled his eyes lazily.

His impudent attitude made the father even more angry and the older brother finally couldn't help but sneer, "Totally befitting a son who brings shame to the family, isn't it good that he doesn't want to use the name Marama, father? Leave him alone father, this disgusting child does not befitting of the great name like Marama."

"Shut up!" said the father a little irritated.

"But..."

The brother's words were stopped by his father's sharp gaze, then the man looked back at Peter.

"Where have you been all day?" asked the father coldly. This was what he wanted to know the most.

"Should I report every activity I do to you?" asked Peter, furrowing his brows in disapproval.

"Just answer my question. Why do you have to ask the question again?" replied the father displeased.

"I'm asking you. Why should you care what I do?!" asked Peter increasingly challenging his father's patience.
