CHAPTER 178: New arm.

Alex and Allenya were both running through the cave to try and get a few feathers from Quetzalcoatl. But the bird had understood what they were trying to do and ran away with the two humans closely behind it.

Allenya had repeatedly asked for me to hold the bird down. But I had refused and was now watching them struggle in amusement. I had already decided that I would stop them the moment they would catch my bird. They would just have to wait until the feathers naturally fell out.

Aside from watching the tree idiots I was also pouring magic into a scale that I had ripped out of my arm.

I still felt bad because I had sliced of Leonor's arm off back in her world. Even if it was to save her life.

So, I was now trying to make a substitute. I let the magic in my scale tangle into each other in a certain pattern and shape.

At first I just wanted to make a mass of magic that she could change according to her will as long as she had the scale. But that would be to unstable and would fall apart the moment her will was not as consistent. So I made sure that it would be stuck in the form of an arm and would function like that as well.

If I had been better at healing and water magic, then I might have been able to create an actual arm. but since that wasn't the case I just went with the next best thing.

When I was done the scale was slightly glowing. But that was not weird considering the amount of magic I put in it. If it wasn't directly used as a power source of some sorts, then it would surely be able to function for at least a million years.

It might be a bit to much. But then it could also be passed down through the generations as some sort of artifact.

I stood up and, to the displeasure of Allenya and Alex, placed Quetzalcoatl on one of my horns.

It naturally didn't take me long to find Leonor. She was questioning my father about his origin an dhow he met me.

I understood that she was suspicious about him. He had a very close relationship to me yet none of our group, apart from me and the dwarf, knew where he had come from, he just showed up.

They stopped talking the moment I came close.

"Can I borrow her for a moment?" I asked my dad who quickly nodded, glad that he was released from the endless ray of questions.

I took her a little further into the cave where we could talk without anyone disrupting us.

"It is my first time making something like this. But I would like for you to at least try it."

I gave her the shining scale and she carefully took it in her hand.

"Its one of your scales? But why?"

I smiled and created a small flame. After that I tapped the scale with one of my claws.

The flame and some pieces of rock tangled in together and formed an arm on the place where she had lost her previous one. After it had completely taken form it coated itself in illusions to look real.

"I am not good enough with healing and water magic. So, you won't be able to feel anything with it. But you should be able to move it just fine."

After checking the movements of her new arm Leonor embraced me, this time with both her arms. "Thank you. Thank you so much!" she exclaimed. Her voice almost trembling with gratitude.

"Well, it was kind of my fault to begin with that you had lost your arm."

We chatted a little more and later picked up Zosimos by Elisa who had been watching him.

At some point I even received some offerings from the cult that was forming. It kind of freaked me out, what Leonor thought was hilarious. So, I had to explain to her that I was still a really young demon and that I had never been in a situation like that before. Of course, she didn't think that it was a good excuse.

Eventually the dwarf found out about it too and shared the same mindset as Leonor. And these two joked around about it a lot.

I was just about to set myself on fire in annoyance when out of no where time seemed to slow down.

Everyone halted in their steps and random objects were ominously floating. I walked around to see if there was any reaction from the humans at all. But everyone was slowed down to an extent that they probably didn't even notice me moving around.

Then I saw her at the entrance of the cave. The angel of time.
