Preparations for War

While Dai was advising his army for the upcoming war, the Mage was training his army to fight against the demon forces of Dai. "We have to win this war! Otherwise, we will be extinct!" The Mage warns the other mages about the war.

"Will we die if we refuse?" One female mage asked in a timid voice. Because her question irked the Mage, he shot a Darkness Beam into her heart, killing her instantly and on the spot. Everyone was horrified. She was only fourteen years old! They stared at their leader in fear.

"No more questions is beneficial to your survival." The Mage told them coldly. As he walked away from his people, he could hear the curses thrown his way, but he didn't listen to them nor did he care what they had to say. They were going to obey him because they have no choice. He was their leader. They didn't like him because the way he was acting was going to make them extinct. The last thing any of them wanted to do was die for a cruel ruler.

With Dai and his army, they were doing some hard training so they can defeat the mages with no problem. However, Dai was still recuperating from his usage of Hellfire Mode. He hated to do so, but he would have to sit out the war until his body was fully healed from his usage of Hellfire Mode. Yu was with him, sitting beside him. She smiled at him. "Foolish man, did you have to do that?" She gently scolded him and Dai gave her a sheepish grin.

"I know, I know. I shouldn't have used the power, but you screamed for me. I just wanted, no, I needed to rescue you." Dai admitted to Yu, who smiled at him.

"Thank you for saving me, Dai." Yu tells Dai, placing her lips to his cheek. Both people were blushing at the bold action, but Dai didn't seem to mind and so Yu smiled at him. "That was a good luck kiss as well as a thank you." Yu tells Dai.

"Thank you." Dai tells Yu softly. Despite her trust in Dai's army and Dai himself, Yu felt that something made her want to join in the war alongside Dai. What she did notice was that something made her wanted to struck something with lightning, but she can't use lightning! Yu gasped in shock when she felt burning pain in her back. Dai was alarmed and when he looked up, he saw the Mage with a stun gun. Normally, a stun gun wouldn't hurt, but because Yu felt something deep within her stomach, she knew that she wasn't entirely human. Yu screamed into the sky as lightning covered her entire body.

Because she didn't know about her power, she fainted due to activating it. Dai caught her before she fell onto the ground. "What did you do to her?" He demanded the Mage.

"I helped her. How has a mage lived among humans without knowing that she wasn't a human?" The Mage questioned out loud. Dai grew angry at his question.

"She didn't even know she had powers! All her life, she thought she was human and you just went and ruined that!" Dai shouted at the Mage.

"I ruined her peaceful life for her sake." The Mage told Dai.

"You never even spoken to her! How do you know that you helped her out?!" Dai was getting even more angrier as he started to burn off his energy.

"Her Maxina...was begging to be unleashed. I don't know why, but it was." When the Mage said that, Yu opened her eyes. She stood her with Dai's help and she stared at the Mage.

"You've started this." She spoke.

All of the sudden, Yu rushed forward and she used her lightning power to punch and struck the Mage.
